Phoenix was initially a showcat due to her rare breed. She was abducted by someone and sent into the facility, where she was experimented on for quite some time, traveling from building to building.

She didn't know how she got out exactly, but she managed to escape with one or two other cats before the rest got re-captured. Due to her disability, she doesn't like physical contact all that much. She finds it unappealing and painful, which is why she steers clear of just about anyone who gets too close.

She is not aggressive because of the facility, instead she prefers to be gentle and understanding, not wanting this horrible experience to take hold of her and change her.

She met up with Heaven after the facility was destroyed, and ended up falling in love. They went through the basics of being around one another and growing close, and she ended up getting pregnant. With her children taken by a family, she fought to get them back and achieved this, and is now trying to live her life as normal as possible despite her past.

Madness and MH lived in an insane asylum of sorts. They were surrounded by crazy people, which seemed to influence the both of them.

The humans didn't want their meds, so the cats got them. They didn't want their shots...so the cats got them. It was an endless cycle of insanity and pain--which ended up to he and MH wanted to leave the torturous asylum and free themselves.

As they were leaving the warden tried to grab them back, and their collars were ripped off in the process.

Madness is a bubbly, happy cat for the most part. He tries to live up to his 'Lucky cat' name, since he's a japanese bobtail. More often then not, his victims are the unlucky ones...when Madness is upset, he not only voices it, but he also shows it.

It's better to steer clear of this kitty.

Somehow he managed to impregnate a cat from the Casino that he'd met only once before. When he found out she was pregnant, he panicked, and left her...watching her silently while she went through her pregnancy, pretty much by herself.

When the kits were born, he decided to step up--which his sister didn't like. He sacrificed one of his children to his sister, Cheshire, and let MH take her in so she could see that having children wasn't that bad. He had already lost one daughter to the birthing, so he could bare to see another go.

Now, he is trying to get into their lives more, since they were all rescued from The Facility. However, he knows his children are not fond of him...and he's going to teach them what it's like to have a rough life, since he believes that they know little to nothing about suffering at this point. He was stabbed by his son, Ichi, when trying to reinforce his rules.

Kevin was raised in a church for his entire life. The priests took him in when he was very young and raised him up to wander the church and take care of the mice problem. However, he wandered away from the church in search of another lifestyle once the main priest that watched over him died.

He often talked about the church and what they taught there, and joined Ecclesia when Nao found him wandering by himself. He now brings cats to the sanctuary and tries to teach them of his religious learnings, wanting to give cats hope in their lives as the humans did when he lived with them.

He carried around a rosary to show his 'religion' of sorts, and is overall an overly sweet cat, who is often taken advantage of because of this.

Jae was born to The Ruins right around the time that their territory leader was going through a rough time, his children going missing and The Facility was in full swing. He had a normal life, for the most part, and was taken by some students at the University when he was young.

His sister and him managed to escape--pretty much just walking out of the dorm and walking home--to his mother and father who were also going through a rough time.

He befriended Tempo and JiYong's second litter's youngest, Mihi. They became good friends quickly, and ended up causing a lot of problems for their territory leaders. Soon after they became friends, his sister disappeared and his parents separated. Jae went into a depression and lost all of his energy, which Mihi noticed. They tried to work through the pains, but Mihi's father also went missing around the same time, both of which returned mostly unharmed and thankfully got the territory running again. His father disappeared as well, going to find 'himself', and his mother stayed behind but seemed uninterested in her childrens' lives. With his sister missing, Jae asked to move in with Mihi and they took his and his sister's old room.

Now, he's grown to a master and has pushed his past behind him, trying to not care where his father is, what his mother is up to, and if his sister was alive or not.

Falcon was born a stray, and started life as a stray. He was picked up by an only child who loved and adored him--as he did as well. He lived with her and her family for roughly a year, before everything went wrong.

Being an outdoor cat, he was always running around in the back yard and hunting for different creatures to bring to his owner. One day, when he was still small, a bird of prey targeted him as their next meal. The falcon attacked him and ripped off a piece of his ear, also scarring his back beneath his fur.

After he was mauled the little girl and her family brought him to the vet, where they couldn't pay the expenses to help him. They signed him over to the vet office, where he was nursed back to health by strangers. Once he was well enough, they attempted to adopt him out, but none of the humans wanted the defective cat with a defensive attitude.

Falcon got his name from the bird of prey that attacked him, and he also believed that he needed to be as free as a falcon, so he worked out his escape and managed to free himself from the veterinary office.

In a nutshell--Cheshire is crazy. She was born into Casino Royal, and was soon after kidnapped from her mother's territory to go to the facility. There--everything went to hell.

Cheshire had always been a stubborn girl. When the doctors tried to inject her, she would fight back...and one day she fought back with the wrong doctor. The b*****d took a scalpel to her, slicing up her face, hitting her eye, and carving a forever 'smile' onto her face. He had told her that if she was always going to be like this--she would die at his hands, and always hold that cocky smile on her face that no other cat could even amount to.

She escaped the facility after recovering from her wounds...only to have her aunt Mad Hatter abduct her from her home.

Now she dwells with her aunt, her new 'mother', and is being raised by the crazy woman.

Cheshire managed to escape MH after a few months of living with her, but the damage had already been done. She was now paranoid and scared of just about everything, not wanting to wander into shadows or darkness at all.

Belial grew up in the University with his family. He'd never thought much of the humans until they took him away, to which he really didn't care either. He was going to be a show cat, a pure bred somali with a beautiful coat and a perfect physique for showing...

However, he grew bored of the human life. He left quickly once the humans irritated him enough, and headed back towards home. Once again, he stayed in the University until he was a bit older, then headed over to the Casino for a night job and a way to escape his parents' control.

One could almost call him racist. He knows he's a pure-bred and he favors pure-blood. He will speak to hybrids, but prefers the company of other pure-bred cats, and doesn't dare get too close to a hybrid.

Lorne

Lorne was captured by the Facility at the very beginning of their rein of terror. He was still just a kitten when he was captured, and grew up there...facing the brunt of their experiments to prepare for other cats.

During these tests he lost a limb, and gained many scars from it all. Because of his gentle temper even after all the experiments, The Facility doctors and nurses decided to keep him as a pet, seeing as the testing didn't seem to have any side effects on him besides going blind, the scarring, and losing a limb.

Little did the humans know that his intelligence grew as he was tested on, and his senses heightened. He is now free to roam in or out of the facility at will, and often takes advantage of his intelligence by helping other cats break out of the facility after they are put to death, or when they figure out that he is there to help.

Lorne is gentle, kind, but far from loving or one to show much emotion. He is numb to the idea of death, and welcomes it for himself one day. However, he is not pessimistic, and would fight tooth and nail even with a lost limb for what he believed in.

Now that the facility has been destroyed he has gone into hiding, and many might think he's dead. Being old and worn himself, he might be.
