"Yes, but..." Canopus was going to argue with him, point out how not only members of his own faction, but the Negaverse, felt that the Dark Mirror Court were not welcomed, but she managed to stop herself before anymore words could slip out. In truth, she was... so tired of thinking that, and the only one that seemed to keep bringing it up was herself. She was so tired of it, and so, she was willing to listen to Kairatos, and believe him. She pondered what he had meant by being wrapped in Chaos' lies, but despite the desire to learn more, she didn't pry into the subject. It seemed too personal, and she feared hearing anything that might have otherwise tarnished that glistening respect that she had for him right now... or perhaps it would only make it even more golden?
It was hard to fight back the impulse to pry even more, so she tried to change the subject, tried to contribute and not think too deeply about things though knowing it was already too late. "We were all fooled by Chaos... I mean, look at me? I gave myself away to the Dark Mirror Court so easily, and honestly thought of the Negaverse as our allies. Chaos is filled with nothing but lies and deceit... even the most cautious fall victim to them."
She looked at what remained of Kairatos' wonder and tried not to imagine Destiny City or Earth like this. It hurt too much... she had lost Canopus already, she couldn't stand the thought of losing her beloved Earth. She had given up Canopus so easily... so easily! Tears were beginning to swell in her eyes again and she forced her gaze downwards in a pathetic attempt to hid them, as she muttered softly. "I wish you could, but this? This is enough... knowing that there's people like you in this war... it helps. It makes it not seem so useless."
She didn't want to admit that she was ready to leave, but it was clear on her face as she couldn't stand anymore of this. She had to go home, to the dormitories, and think.

"That's why they're strong." He sighed, holding out a hand to her to take. He could see it was time to take her back. "But we're strong too. So are you." He thought about telling her that even if they had no idea how to remove the mirror coat from her starseed, or what would happen if they did, but she was already hurting so badly... "Let's get you home." He offered, hoping he looked a bit more 'I know what I am doing' and far less 'aw shucks', since he felt a bit of the second. "I'll be around, you know?"

For all of her fears and hesitation to take his hand earlier, there were no such emotions this time around and it hadn't surprised her nearly as much as it should have. She took the hand that was offered to her and all but clung to it, perhaps wanting him to know just how much she needed this right now, and oddly enough, his gesture and his words were enough to chase the tears away. She scoffed, though, as she wiped away the evidence of tears that had managed to escape. "You're kind to think that, but I'm not. I'm not strong, but... I'm not weak either. So..."
The offer to return home would not be wasted and she took it with a small smile, wishing she had the strength to muster more but it simply wasn't there. Kairatos was wise and kind, but he was simply wrong on the matter. She wasn't strong, or at least, she didn't feel strong. "Thank you for this... I hope I see you again sometime. Maybe... it'll be different the next time around."
She hoped so. She didn't want to be weak... she wanted to be strong, if only she knew how. So she accepted it with silence and waited for Kairatos to take her back to Destiny City, to her one and only home.
