Tera watched Ashta as he was suddenly dismissing himself, saying that he was going to go and get them some refreshments. He tilted his head to one side, wondering about Ashta, maybe he didn't have a sense of humor? He'd need to keep that in mind, so as not to upset him in the future, not wanting to make it so that Ashta resented the fact that he was in charge to looking after Tera. Sighing a little he turned to look over at Kyruie who he now found himself alone with, "He doesn't appreciate jokes?" He asked, still able to hear Ashta stomping about as he spoke up. He wondered if playing babysitter to Tera was even something the man wanted to do or if it was their the idea of their mothers only. He'd almost go with the latter.

Turning to look over at Kyruie he gave him a bit of a smile before starting toward the room that they were supposed to wait for Ashta in, feeling a bit awkward about it. Last time they were in such a room together, albeit one that wasn't nearly as nice, things had gotten sort of weird, hadn't they? Should he go in? Should they just wait for Ashta? The voice in his head seemed to think so, saying the two of them should wait out here, not go into another room alone with Kyruie. It would only end up a jumbled mess if he did. It was a strong feeling, one that made it hard to step into the room, so instead he turned to look at Kyruie, "I... sorry, I will try to keep from making anymore jokes, I don't want to rile him up." If things weren't good between the brothers he probably shouldn't make it worse.

"He... does seem the bodyguard sort, will he get more chatty or... or is that all?" He asked, curious if the two of them were going to end up sitting in silence more often then not once Ashta became his bodyguard. That would be... rather awkward.

Tera stepped inside the room as Kyruie pulled the cloth back for him, looking around for a moment, before his attention went back to the one he was standing with. It was strange, that they were so alike, yet so different at the same time. It seemed the two of them had different sorts of coping methods to deal with their pasts. He gave him a lopsided smile, the best one that he could muster, and said, "I know that feeling, I can barely recall my family, but they, well my mother, reassures me that I am her son. Often." He murmured, though it was one of those things that he still struggled with believing. It wasn't because she'd done anything that would make him think badly of her, but it was still difficult to deal with since he just didn't know the woman. She was so clingy and made him so uncertain of himself and everything around him.

After a moment of deep thinking, that came up with few answers since he was still uncertain about many things, he found himself asking, "I... umm... Can I ask you something, Kyruie? When we chatted last... I... did I say anything strange to you?" He asked, wondering if there was anything that he'd said, done, during that momentary black out. The voice in his head remained quiet for the moment, no snarky comments about what Tera was asking about. It were as though it were just waiting in the wings for whatever might be said to Tera.

"Oh, I see." Tera murmured, then gave a rather happy smile, "Alright, good." That was good, very good. He'd been rather worried that, during his black out, that he might have said or did something to Kyruie and that was why he was unable to meet up with him again after that time. Lifting a hand to tug at one of the braids in his own hair he said, "I'm glad, I was worried that maybe I'd insulted you or something." As if Tera himself would be able to insult anyone the voice in his head said in a voice that would have gone along with the rolling of eyes. It was something that Tera ignored though as he watched Kyruie a moment. He was sitting on his bed, looking a bit out of sorts, and it half made Tera want to go and find Ashta so as not be a bother to Kyruie. He didn't though, much to the distaste of the voice in his head.

Taking a couple steps forward he lifted a hand and reaching out, resting it on his hair, stroking his hair lightly, "It will be alright, I will keep quiet." He said in a reassuring manner. It was strange, for someone like Tera to be the one reassuring another, since he was normally the one who needed to be taken care of. Kyruie didn't want to worry his brother, neither did Tera, Ashta seemed nice enough so if it meant making things easier on the older Matori man then he would do what needed to be done, "How are you doing now?"

There was a part of Tera that wanted to wrap his arms around Kyruie, to hug him, to try to make him feel better... but given that Ashta might be back at any moment it might not be a good idea. He didn't want to get Kyruie into any trouble after all and everyone seemed to look at Kyruie oddly just because Tera had admitted to having met him once before in the past. Talking to him was bad enough but a hug? That could throw everything out of whack, maybe even causing them to refuse to ever let the two of them chat again. Ashta had allowed it, but it might only be because he didn't like being teased and wanted to be on his own instead of hanging out with them. It made him feel a little guilty though, not having wanted to upset the other guy. Something he should apologize for the voice in his head told him sternly, something he'd do later.

Tera watched as Kyruie pulled him in closer, having a moment in which he felt as though he'd been in this similar situation before. He'd been pulled in close, had gotten... a kiss? Had he and Kyruie kissed? He felt his cheeks coloring as he hovered there, face to face with Kyruie, a hairsbreadth away from him. It was something that set his heart to thudding in his chest, "Ahh... Kyruie..." He murmured, cheeks coloring a bit. There was a part of Tera that really wanted to lean forward, to get take the offered kiss... though at the same time there was the voice in the back of his head that was screaming at him that it was an awful idea, that the two of them were going to get in trouble!

It was a prediction that came to be a moment later when he heard the voice of the one that had been out there fetching drinks for them. Tera jerked his head back, turning to look over at Ashta, then went an even darker color, "O-Oh... ah... hello, Ashta, welcome back..." He said in a hushed tone, sounding quite embarrassed over being caught by him. It was so embarrassing, not to mention not what he'd wanted Ashta to see. He had only wanted to cheer Kyruie up, make him feel better, he'd seemed so flustered. It was something that seemed to amuse the voice in his head a bit as he'd swear he could hear the normally stern and unhappy voice... chuckling?

Being caught by Ashta would only make it worse though he thought to himself before taking a step forward, as though to put himself between Kyruie and Ashta, before he said, "Thank you for bringing the drinks and snacks, Ashta." He hoped to change the subject before it was even broached, too embarrassed to even want to think about Ashta might be thinking at the moment.

Tera's face fell a little at the question and he found himself starring at his feet for a moment, poking his toe at the floor, before he turned to look up at Ashta again, "Everyone seemed... so upset, that the two of us knew each other. I didn't want to lie but I didn't people being mad at Kyruie because of me." He said, hands wringing together as he spoke, he didn't want to be the cause of any strife between the pair of brothers because of him. He wondered if that meant that he should tell the truth to avoid that? Probably the best idea the voice said, not sure if Tera would actually bother with such a thing. Said voice hoped truth would clear things up, it didn't want to deal with an angry, raging Ashta after all, which was something it would have to do. It would have to step in if Ashta wanted to start something. A thought that was kept from Tera, not wanting him to be any wiser to what the voice was thinking.

He glanced over at Kyruie, taking in the manner that he was sitting, wanting nothing more then to go back over to him. Poor Kyruie, he really needed a hug he thought to himself before turning himself back to Ashta once more, "It's my fault... please don't tell. My mother would be upset if she knew I wasn't staying at home, that I was going on walks on my own..." He said, surely Ashta must understand, he was the one who was getting stuck being his babysitter after all.

Tera held his breath, waiting for Ashta's answer, but much to his surprise the guy was suddenly saying that they should bring Kyruie with them. It was really the last thing that he'd expected since everyone downstairs had seemed so displeased over the idea of Kyruie and Tera knowing one another. At least this way they would be able to hang out! It was something that excited him almost as much as it seemed to displeased the voice in the back of his head. It was instantly agreeing with Kyruie, it would be a bad idea, Kyruie was dangerous, he couldn't be trusted given the state that he got himself into. Ashta was the way to go, he was the safer route!

Even though Kyruie and the voice said it was a bad idea, and Ashta had a rather hard eyed glance, Tera was nodding his head, "I would like that, it would be nice to be able to stay with both of you. It will be nice to have some friends... though I know I should apologize to you both, getting stuck being my kinda friends because my mother wants me to have a constant babysitter looking after me." It was rather embarrassing, knowing that the two might very well end up resenting him because his mother was so panicked over the idea of him getting taken again. It wasn't that he wanted that, the idea of getting captured again made his stomach hurt, but at the same time it felt wrong that Ashta, as well as possibly Kyruie, would be forced to be around him at all times.

Maybe after she realized that he wasn't in danger she would ease off and let them all move about in a way that they chose? He supposed he could only see what the future held in that respect when they got to that point. He kind of hoped so if only for the sake of the two that he was currently staying with. Giving a smile he quickly added, "Even though she forced the issue I... I do hope we can come to be real friends."

It would be good for Kyruie? He glanced over at him before he gave a bright smile, "That's good." He murmured, glad to hear that. If Ashta thought that this would be good for Kyruie then he was happy. He wanted to keep an eye on him, to look after him, and to make sure that he was alright. He knew that Kyruie had his problems and he wanted to help him with that stuff, to keep him company, even if the voice in his head commented that Kyruie was also a danger. How could he be a danger after all if Ashta was around? He was sure that it would all work out.

Taking a step closer to Ashta he took the drink he offered him, giving him a bright smile and a nod, "Thank you!" He said in a happy tone of voice, rather pleased with the fact that he would be able to stay with Kyruie, just as he'd wanted to do since he'd met him. He liked him and had been a little sad when, after their last meeting, that he hadn't been able to find him again. He had thought that he might never see him again, something that bothered him pleased the voice in the back of his head. Of course now that he had both Kyruie and Ashta as his 'babysitters' and potential friends he had to admit he was slightly less against his mother's plan. At least the one she'd picked out for him wasn't completely terrifying or completely heartless. He was a little tough to chat with but still, not as bad as he'd imagined him to be.

After taking a sip of his drink he said, "This is good, thank you, Ashta." He said, then glanced over at Kyuie, "You should try some of this, it's quite good." He told him with a bright smile.

Tera nodded his head, "I... yes, of course, we can go and join them. I am curious what my mother is up to if I am to be honest." He murmured, starring down into his cup for a moment before he glanced over toward the door that they would be going through to join the others. He wasn't exactly looking forward to it. Even if it was a little odd hanging with the two brothers since they didn't see eye to eye it was better then listening to his mother arranging things as though he were still a little youngling... or worse as though she was marrying him off to Ashta. At least he would remain safe with Ashta about the voice in his head told him, something that him taking another sip of his drink as he considered the comment. He supposed that was true, Ashta was the safe one.

Glancing between the brothers he found himself starring at Kyruie, his head tilting to one side, when he caught the smirk. He found himself instantly wondering what it was that he was thinking about. Some sort of joke, perhaps? Hard to say but he looked a bit like a perzi that had caught and ate someone's pet kinfa. He'd have to ask him about it later, for now though they could head down stairs and deal with their mothers.
