((I read that you girls are looking for more players. I would like to join but I'd like to ask if I could play two roles. One would be the emperor's bodyguard/sensei and the other would be the emperor's adviser; if its not too much to ask sweatdrop ))

Kei walked back to his room and was changed into the robes he slept in, then waved his manservant away. Once he was alone, he walked to the large window in his room and gazed out into the warm night for a time. He enjoyed the serenity it brought him, even if that serenity was a lie. The night was rarely as quiet and as peaceful as it seemed from where he stood.
He felt like being under the starfield above without the restrictions of the stone and tile roof, so he signaled to the doormen to open the doors to his room and walked into the palace, his bodyguards trailing him like well armed puppies. His manservant followed these at a respectful distance, lest his master should need anything.
Lei thought as he walked; mostly about the days affairs, but especially about the women he had met today. Most seemed like the usual noble women he had known. Then there was that strange one who seemed to have grown up as a peasant, not knowing court formalities. He didn't know they allowed pheasants to become royal consorts, but perhaps there was a story behind that.
He came out of his thoughts when they were interrupted by a commotion between a woman and two palace guards. As he neared, he saw that she was that peasant girl who had kotowed like a servant earlier. She stood only in her nightgown, and seemed upset about something. After covertly appraising her figure for a brief moment as the cloth of her gown rippled slightly against her with her movements, he looked her in the eye and spoke. "What is wrong, my lady?"

My life so far: Zhōng-rú has studied strenuously for many years to fit the position of advisor under his father who was the advisor to the previous emperor. His father and mother both held importance in the emperor's court since they were of noble decent. Tragically, thought, his mother was taken by illness while his father was killed during an assassination attempt on the previous emperor's life. Since then Zhōng-rú has been at the position as advisor and now, after the death of the previous emperor, writes down every detail at Emperor Lei Longwei's court; acting as his eyes and ears at all times.

My life so far: Since he was young Jūn-Wěi had a hard life. His clan was taken over by the empire's army and absorbed which then gave his family opportunity to rework for their own place in the social order of all things. Years of fighting in the army and with many wins under his belt Jūn-Wěi won his ranks quickly until he was known as the most masterful fighter in the whole country; as shown in every sparing battle he had with his higher ranking officers. After years of winning battles for the previous emperor, Jūn-Wěi was assigned as a permanent bodyguard to Lei Longwei.

It was such a peaceful night under the heavens tonight. The day was filled with commotion of new noblewomen arriving to court today and so Zhōng-rú knew his day was going to be a rush; just like any other. While the girls were introduced in court earlier, zhōng-rú was silently transcribing the info given for his emperor to be able to look over if the need should ever arrive. One by one the girls were called to take a step forward and all the while Zhōng-rú's hand never stopped flowing onto the paper; kind of like how the royal bodyguard's eyes never faltered focusing on the harem before the emperor. Now, with the moon at it's peek, Zhōng-rú hummed to himself as he gazed into the vastness of the garden and mentally sketched the shadowing contrast of oil lamp and rose bush.

"I can hardly blame you for instinctively rushing to brace her fall. Just don't make it a habit." The emperor's face was slate to Jūn-Wěi but his eyes were what showed truth to his bodyguard. Jūn-Wěi couldn't help but bow once more and thank him for his understanding. The bodyguard fallowed behind his master, thoughts of many things passing through his mind as he looked out to the royal guards with his master and Li-Mei. As his master laid out his overrobe for his lady, Jūn-Wěi took a few steps back, the scabbard of his sword brushing a bush as he did so, and dutiful kept a watchful eye over the young emperor. These women may have been brought here for the emperor's delight but that didn't mean they didn't have their own intentions of possibly harming the emperor. After all it was the emperor's father who had made many enemies during his reign, who knows how many others would like to see the royal family done with.
