Kneeling down next to where she had drawn her circles, Finnley looked them over. Were they big enough? Too big? Were they easily visible? How far back should they stand? All these things were racing through her mind so that she could help Asrahs as much as possible. Finnley inspected the stones she was brought. Taking each one in her hands to feel them. While she discarded a few of the rougher ones: ones with sharp edges or uneven surfaces, there was only about 2 in the bunch or so that Asrahs had brought that Finnley set aside that weren't ideal. "I think these ones would be good! They're all a-about the same size and weight and shape. Good job." She said praising the youngling.

Smiling Asrahs nodded feeling proud. She had found a fairly good amount of stones to have checked and only a few of them weren’t perfect. “Course Finililly I couldn’t play with you if I didn’t bring enough for you to play too. Games are really the best when everyone can play and have fun after all.” The youngling stated it like it was the most clear and only fact in the world. She looked at the circles. “the big outside one is one. the next one is… two.” She didn’t want to make it to hard since she couldn’t count that high yet and when the scores were added up she didn’t want to look silly in front of Finililly. “The drops that are in them are counted up and the highest in the end wins.” The circles Finililly made were really nice and pretty. “The targets look perfect.” She patted Finililly’s knee giving her praise too.

Nodding along as Asrahs came up with the scoring system, it was simple so that everyone could figure it out. It was good, simple was good. Finnley smiled at what the youngling called her, it was endearing and made her want to coo at the adorableness of Asrahs, but that might be demeaning and she would just wait to embarrass her own children like that. "Well I'm glad you w-want me to play as well! Now...did we find some water to use?" It was the last thing that they needed and then the game would be ready to play. They couldn't play without water since Finn would need to catch the drops. They could always use some of the water that had been saved, this place wasn't like Juahar where water was more abundant. So if they couldn't find a spring or a river or something, Finn already decided she would use some of the water she kept in her canteen.

Asrahs look at Finililily in surprise for a moment before her face fell. She had been so excited about getting the perfect stones and coming up with the best scoring system in the world that she had completely forgotten all about the most important thing! It was really hard to count drops if there was no water to make the drops. Shuffling her feet she was so embarrassed! How could she forget something so important. “N-not yet.” She was clearly trying to think of an excuse and since none sounded satisfying to her young mind she shook her head and set her face in a very determined expression. “But I’ll find some.” The only problem was she really didn’t know where to look. She could always find her papas and ask them, but that would take forever! “Do you know where any is?” Asrahs was still looking at Finilily with her ‘serious’ face on. Otherwise Asrahs was going to take a very very long walk and find someone who could help them.

The look on the youngling's face was almost heartbreaking and Finn wished she hadn't of said anything. It was a foolish wish though since they would have figured out they needed water anyway. The look had made her want to take Asrahs in her arms and hug her tight. Finnley could fix this though! Just as Asrahs asked she did know where some was! With a smile, she took the canteen, which was essentially a hollowed out root, from her bag and gave it to the girl. "We can use this water for now. We'll just have to remember when we play this game that we need to b-bring extra, okay?" She waited until it was taken from her and then moved down towards the circles. "It will be easier f-for me to catch the drops if I'm closer. So you j-just get as far out as you think you should be and then wet your stone and tell me before you throw it so I'm ready." Everything would work, Finnley was sure of it.

Her eyes widened to enormous size as Finililly solved yet another problem. “You’re amazing! Like papa Viveka and papa Natsu.” The container was kind of heavy but not too bad. And opening it was easy. Nodding and listening to the shifter that she was starting to get a lot of respect for Asrahs trotted over to where she wanted to be with the water container tucked up with one arm close to her body and the other holding two stones. She set the water container down and then dug in the hard soil for a moment clearly marking her standing spot so she could come back to it later. After wiping off her stone with her hand she poured some water over it. She felt bad about the water that spilled but she could always help Finililly get more lately. With water on her hand and on the stone she raised it up. The water tickled as it ran down her small arm. “Ready!?” It was a question and statement all in one before Asrahs threw the stone as hard as she could missing the center of her target entirely but at least getting in one of the outer rings.

Finnley smiled at Asrahs comment, it was so sweet of her to be compared to the two people who had taken the young icling in. It was one of the highest compliments Finnley thought, to be compared to one's parents. After all, your parents are who brought you into this world, and cared and nurtured you. Or at least, the caring and nurturing part in Asrahs case. She watched carefully as the youngling moved to where she wanted to stand and made a mark in the dirt. The spilled water wasn't of much concern to Finn, she knew they could probably find some more without too much trouble. As Asrahs prepared, so did Finn, she squatted down next to the rings and watched for the stone. Sitting so close she didn't want to get hit with the rock! It was good that she was paying attention too, as the stone strayed away from the center and came towards the outer rings. She prepped herself and as the stone passed her, she caught the water droplets just above the ground. Her hands were somewhat shaped as if she should be holding a large bowl, but she made sure not to move her hands in case it made the droplets fall. "Do you want to come count up your score?" Finn asked kindly, waiting for the youngling to come over to see.

Jubilation was the best ‘adult’ word that would have described the joy on Asrahs face as she noded and bounced toward the circle. There were so many drops and Finilily held them all with magic! Slowing as she approached almost fearing that her steps might make the drops fall Asrahs got close enough to start to count. Finilily didn’t even move a finger which looked really impressive to the young ice earthling. So that was what a magic user looked like all serious and focused. Finilily must be the best ever because she still looked so calm and pretty while doing it.
She had to take her time to count the drops but it seemed Finilily was really strong so that the drops never waived a bit, well maybe a tiny bit but that might have been Asrahs imagination. “twenty one, twenty two! I have twenty two points” She was as proud as a peacock and smiled at Finilily boasting her score. She moved over and hugged her adult friend who made the game possible. “Next you should take a turn.” The fact that it might be hard for Finilily to throw a stone and catch the drops at the same time never once entered her young mind. She glanced at the shifter woman with bright eyes enjoying the game.

Once Asrahs had finished counting, Finnley released the breath she hadn't known she had been holding before swirling all the droplets together and dropping them outside of the circles. The girl had done pretty good! The joy and excitement on her face was so clear and infectious. She hugged Asrahs tightly back when the youngling hugged her and then smiled at her request. "I would love to try one day, but it might be difficult for me to throw the stone and then catch the droplets. So maybe once we find someone else who can do magic, huh?" She replied, running her hands through Asrahs' hair affectionately. "We've been gone for awhile though, I'm sure Natsu and Viveka are wondering where you are. Lets go back, okay?" Finn said as she stood, holding her hand out to the youngling.
