Nel felt Lenore's annoyance and determined for herself that the attempt had failed. As the fog lifted, she saw Zyk release more poison at her, and she side-stepped it before firing off another wave of force.

Keeping their distance when the opponent was also using ranged attacks didn't seem to be working. "Poison Fang!" Zinnia shouted.
Zyk was blasted off course. He struggled to regain his balance before diving for Nel.
