June 11th, 2015: bluealaris Master Jew GAIARumor has it that www.gaiaonline.com will cease operation this fall and all remaining Gaia Interactive employees will be relocated to the Tentacl project. Seems a bit strange as Gaia just hired like 100 beta testers (all non-paid of course!) to keep more updates flowing. Main Question:In YOUR opinion, what does Gaia's future look like? I'm not sure how to answer this, since the Tentacl project was closed months ago.

June 23rd, 2015: Narumi Misuhara sup-qt FeaturesI would like to request a change so that we see peoples Avatars when gifting and sending a PM. We already have them with Trades and this is very handy. Sometimes I am copying a username, spelling from memory or going off information from another user. Being able to see the Avatar of the person before I send them anything would be a great way to add that extra bit of confirmation. (in my mind)     Not a bad idea, we'll keep this in mind for future updates.

There's no need to reapply, every mod application will get a reply back with either an acceptance or rejection. bluealaris Tall Dark and Snarky ItemsRegarding the item Shark Swim Style, was permission asked of Mogeko in order to create this item which was clearly based off of the character Samekichi? While the item passes the legal aspect, it is of rather questionable morality to profit off of a a design that comes from an artist' OCS that they've decided to share for free with the world. Shark Swim Style is meant to be an homage and a collection of shark-based swimwear. As you are probably well aware, Gaia Online is a site created to be a community around the mutual enjoyment of video games, books, and anime. Many of our artists are a part of this community before they become employees and are fans of many different genres, characters, creators and stories. It is in the interest of sharing the love for these things that many of them create items that are based of aesthetic ideals of different shows and games, and it is also frequently requested by users that want want to share their interests and cosplay as their favorite characters. We are happy to talk to anyone that feels violated or infringed upon when it comes to homage items and find amicable solutions, but legally speaking the artists that are creating these items have not violated anything. These items are inspired and not in direct conflict with the property involved, ie. in now way will these items harm or damage the traffic to the creator's product.

August 25th, 2015: Narumi Misuhara Nenanah Features I have a suggestion/question for the ignore list feature. I've noticed that when I put someone on my ignore list I can still view the guilds that they own and they can still view mine. If I have someone blocked they don't really have any business with trying to join or view a guild that I own. I tested this out with my mules, I set a mule to ignored but I could still look the the guild that they owned. Anyway I'm pretty sure that trying to join a guild that is owned by a person that blocked you would fall under harassment but why cant we just n** it in the bud... Would it be possible to make it to where that if you have someone on your ignored list they can not view any guilds that you own or submit join requests to them? It would probably help cut down some of the harassment reports and onsite drama. As someone whose been cyberstalked in the past, I would love to see this happen. Question is originally asked by Nenanah. Can Gaia hold a sale to support Cecil the lion? And all (or 50% proceeds) go to wildlife conservation efforts or other divisions like in Africa that help protect lions?
Maybe have a lion fur for the [Animal] community and a lion (like Tidus the Lion) for the humans?
Or even a halo that has a little scruff or main around it to represent Cecil (or lions in general)?
This would be amazing if Gaia could support efforts like these. That's a very touching idea. We will see what we can do!

What did you have in mind? Narumi Misuhara Kittennice FeaturesWould it be possible to create a folder system for pms to better organize mail like Gmail? I know right now we have Save, Outbox, Inbox, and Sent categories but sadly when I pile all I want to keep in Save it's hard to find in the pages of mail when I want to refer back to it and when I let my mailbox hit 100% it starts knocking out some of my mail. Sent mail automatically deleted after a few days I noticed so finding it there you have to be lucky. It would just be very convenient for those who have so much mail coming in within a week. I, myself, am in several rps and have to keep up with profiles, plots, basic chatting, etc. so my Pms are rather hectic and I always manage to miss that one pm I need. I'm starting ramble xD. Anywho I would really love if I can organize my Pms to where it wouldn't take hours for me to find a certain pm. Thank you for taking your time in reading this feline's post >.< Not presently without some big changes to it. Good idea though :/

We did not make a memorial item for Sir Christopher Lee. Unfortunately, all of our tribute items are made in our Artist's free time, so this one was one that slipped by us. Zero Omega Shrimp_Man Features/EmailDo the newsletters not get sent to hotmail accounts? They show up just fine on yahoo and gmail accounts, but not my hotmail account which is my main account's email. Quoting and posting in my thread alerts work just fine, it's just newsletters that don't show up. Hotmail usually doesn't play well with us, or a lot of different companies, so sometimes e-mails have been hard to deliver to those using Hotmail. We suggest adding the Gaia Online domain to your safelist and then seeing if you get the e-mails from there.

October 6th, 2015: Rance Clear V.M ItemsWhen new items, or a set of items comes out in the announcements where an avatar is used to showcase the items, why not invest in having it so people can click the avatar and see ALL of the items that avatar is wearing? I can't tell you how many times I've seen an avatar featured in an announcement wearing an item that would be PERFECT for me, however nothing alludes to what that specific item is on that avatar! You could be swimming in my GCash by now, and effective communication is important!!! That's a very cool idea, but the way we currently create our announcements and the graphics featured within would not allow for that. There currently are not plans to create such a system as you're describing, but we'll be sure to keep that idea in mind if ever we decide to overhaul that aspect of the site. Thanks! December 22nd, 2015: Zero Omega Lady Saxophone Merry Christmas! EventsLast year, we did a gold sink where you guys would donate goods to a local food bank, if I recall correctly. It seems to late to start anything now, but were there any plans to do another charity event this year? Or at the start of next year? Or were profits too low this year in order to organize something like that? We had plans to do something like this again, but unfortunately we just couldn't commit the time to it this year. But it's something we're still thinking of doing.
