Her determination was kinda cute. It reminded him of when his mother was curious about how to stem the flow of the toxins, except when his mother did it, it was creepy and full of experiments. When Prisma did it, it was full of bouncing and repetitive wordy words extremely, and also it came with offering her hand and some bright smiles.

That was when he felt a tap on his arm, and he turned to look at Eknath, who was grinning rather widely beside him. "Stop blushing."

"I -- no I wasn't!" Lisandru turned his gaze to Eknath, glaring at him. "Why don't you ... make like a tree and leave!"

After a rather long second, the rakshasha groaned. "That is, quite possibly, the worst comeback I have ever heard in my life, this world or the prior." Really? Make like a tree and leave? Ugh. This Prisma faerie was really making her way into Lisandru's ability to think like a normal functioning pae'il being... When Lisandru glared at him a bit harder, Eknath rolled his eyes. "But fine. I'll be over there." Easily, he pointed his way towards the spa, swirling off in that direction.

That was when Lisandru actually used his gloved hand to grasp onto Prisma's.

He noticed the change in his name--Mister makey people sick Lisandru Sir--but was admittedly relieved at that. At least Prisma definitely was remembering the fact she couldn't touch him unless something was covering him up. No more hug attempts, at least for now. Maybe he would have to concern himself again if Prisma ever believed she resolved it...

However unlikely that day would come, Lisandru offered a small smile to Prisma in turn. "Thanks for the promise. I appreciate it." It was more than any other pae would offer him.

Prisma held her giggles, though not to well, when Eknath was told to leave. She wiggled her free hand fingers at him, cooing. "Bye bye good sky kitty kitty!" she smiled as he departed, oblivious to what all just went on between the two......despite the fact she was standing right there.

She then turned back as Lisandru grasped her hand and she patted the top of the glove with the other. "No need to thank me extremely, I made a promise, yessiree doodles!" she smiled, gently bouncing on her tip toes. "That's what besty best best friends to!" she nodded furiously, starting to tug him in her usual Prisma fashion off towards the shops. They were going to do this thing.

Right now right now.

"Come come come silly billy, we got lots to do! Must findy find some candy, two birdies, a rope and a pillow case!" she gleed, now yanking him along after her excitedly in much Prisma fashion extremely.

Eknath rolled his eyes at 'good sky kitty kitty' while he was walking away, but he wasn't going to be bothered with responding to it. It seemed Prisma was too dense to understand his snarking, or even acknowledge what he was teasing Lisandru about, considering she was right there and actually giggled at Lisandru's terrible comeback.

Lisandru was all-too-happy to see Eknath leave and ignore him, attention shifting fully to the overly enthusiastic extremely Prisma. Yessiree Doodles made Lisandru snort, though the idea of having a "besty best friend" was a new concept to him. The only pae he really even had a working friendship with were Alister, who was his brother, Caine, who was also his brother, and Eknath, who was his rakshasha bonded. None of them were really outside of the family, until Prisma.

If he was going to be teased for being her boyfriend or not, he was just happy to have a friend -- even if she was unceremoniously yanking him around the markets. And looking for what?

"Candy, two birds, rope, and a pillow case? Are you sticking me in some kind of cocoon?" asked Lisandru, warily, gulping. "Or is this gonna get weird..."

Yeah, weirder than that.

A rather loud giggle snort came out of the fae's lips...or nose.... at Lisandru's last comment. "Never weird silly billy! Just wait and see, I have a plan extremely!" she laughed, tugging him over to a little stand where she stopped and stood and debated for what seemed like a good fifteen minutes before she finally purchased a rather old and worn down bit of rope.

"Ropey rope check! NEXT!" she squeed loudly, her hand actually never having let go of Lisandru's, not of course to keep him hostage, but because she was happy to actually have him there still. She gently took the rope and tucked it close to her, peering around at the other stalls and shops, a finger tapping her chin lightly.

"If I were a pillow...where would I be extremely?" she pondered aloud to herself before peering back at Lisandru like he had the answer.

His question of being made into a cocoon was probably not too far off....

Lisandru did not know if he should trust whatever plan she had (it probably wasn't going to work, considering he was always going to be toxic) but her plans had gotten them out of trouble before. There was that rabbit hole she did, and her little smoke animals had seemed to get attention, hadn't they?

Still, he wasn't sure what he could possibly be thinking of with "rope and pillow" other than attempting to tie the pillows around him with a rope. Would she think that was a hug or something? Would probably just feel sweaty--

Lisandru jolted when she finally decided she had made her choice after what felt like an eternity and a half, wide eyes looking at her as she tucked the rope close to her and made happy noises about it. She was really determined with this plan, wasn't she? He guessed he might-as-well appease her, though he had no idea where she might find some pillows. He hadn't gone shopping for house fixtures in a while.

"Uh."

Good answer, Lisandru.

He gulped.

"That way?"

Maybe.

Prisma turned her head in the direction Lisandru had pointed and squealed madly. "Perfect!" she cried loudly and excitedly, yanking him off yet again down that direction. Her wings buzzed with so much excitement that she nearly took off from the ground, but the weight of still being latched on to her besty best best bestestest friend ever held her down.

They passed many stands and peeked into quite a few stores, yet hadn't managed to find a place that sold home necessities, let alone bedroom supplies. "Oh goodness me, seems like lots of people must want pillows today extremely!" she giggled after pulling them out of yet another little store building. "But I found some pretty pretty rocks and a jar, oh yessiree doodles!" she mused, peering at the growing collection in her one free arm.

Turning towards Lisandru, she spun so quickly she near about spun herself right up on him, but stopped just short of skin to skin contact. A finger shot up to her cheek as she tilted her head in thought. "I say we go look the other way, yes indeedily extremely! Like a happy happy adventure!" she cooed, swaying his hand dramatically side to side with her own.

Lisandru was, in some ways, very used to being yanked around by Prisma. It was kind of how they operated.

Sometimes, he had trouble staying on his feet when she did, though, and he stumbled along after her as she pulled him towards stores, stands, and and unnecessary amount of pae. Had he directed her the wrong way? Probably. She didn't seem to be actually finding any of these pillows. Not that he was totally sure he wanted her to find them, anyway, considering there were only so many ways she could use both rope and pillows, and nearly none of them were any kind of good.

Whoa she was close.

Lisandru froze when she came close, leaning back just slighty after a moment to look down at the faerie. She was really close. Why was she this close? This was uncomfortable. Maybe. She was really close by though. Was it warm out today? They lived in the tropics, so that was probable, but for some reason he felt really warm --

"Okay."

Yeah, go the other way. That was a good idea. He would go somewhere else with her and maybe she would stop being right on top of him without being exactly right on top of him.

"Perfyperfect!" she bubbled over with excitement and twisted herself around so fast the poor guy probably got whiplash when she took off again. She shouted several rather loud hello's to passing by pae or store workers, not at all phased by the strange looks they gave her for dragging around poor Mister Lisandru Sir like he was some kind of stuffed animal or a pet.

She drug him past one stand, then hit the Prisma breaks, backed up and went right back to that stand. It wasn't pillows, but it was sure close! "Blankies!!" she shouted extremely, setting down her growing pile of oddities and scooped up as many blankets as her arms could hold before dumping them all on top of Lisandru. She then grabbed the rope and began fiddling with it, trying to find some way to tie the blankets around him like a suit...or jacket....

...or giant blanket cocoon. Huh, maybe he was right after all?

Having finally got the rope all figured out, she blinked at the blanket bundle then started giggling. "Oopsies.....one too many extremely!" she laughed, tugging some off gently till she found his face.

Maybe Prisma didn't notice the strange looks, but Lisandru did, and there was a significant flush on his cheeks by the time Prisma finally stopped to get him some blankies. He thought they were looking for pillows--

Gah!

Lisandru suddenly found blankets dumped on him, swirling them around (and him) as she attempted to find a way to wrap him in as many blankets as possible. He probably would have rathered the pillows. They were squishier. And also not nearly as heavy. A lot of blankets was kind of heavy and it was never exactly cool on a tropical island. Or, well, a sky tropical island. A sky island? What was Prisma doing? Why was she cocooning him?

He knew this was coming, really, even as he spat out the blanket that made its way into his mouth. Then, finally, Prisma actually pulled them away from his face, allowing him to breathe a little easier.

Well, if her intention was to make him touchable, this ... sorta ... worked.

"Uh."

Lisandru blinked a few times, not really able to move with the bundles of stuff all around him.

Prisma couldn't hold back a giggle at how adorably silly he looked bundled up in those blankets. She knew it wasn't the original plan, but she wasn't planning on keeping him trapped in there for long. Just enough.

Gleeing to herself, she threw her arms out wide and wrapped herself around the blanket bundle that was Lisandru, finding a blanket covered place near his shoulder to rub her cheek against. She squeezed him tightly, probably a bit too tight with an abundance of excitement, and just stood there.

Hugging him.

Tightly.

Grinning.

For a rather long time even.

Ok not quite THAT long, but several minutes did pass as she seemed to have disolved into another world, the stares and murmers of the near by pae, and one angry market stall owner, all but oblivious too. It wasn't until after a few more minutes of being clung to him that she finally said something.

"One big huggy hug....to make up for all the lost huggy hugs you never had extremely." she said softly, just to him, a huge smile spread across her face.

Lisandru might have tilted his head or jumped or shown some form of confusion if he wasn't utterly weighed down by a whole damn pile of blankets all over him. As it was, he could barely move his arms -- not that it mattered for Prisma, who managed to burrow herself in there like she belonged.

For a while.

Lisandru was still rather red--and the glare coming from that poor shopkeeper made Lisandru realize he was probably going to have to give up a lot to make this okay, considering he couldn't just give a bunch of poisoned blankets back--and there were a lot of people kind of staring at them, but he certainly wasn't used to this. Pae touching him, even if it was with a large amount of blankets between them--and preventing him from really properly returning the hug, because he was stiff and sweating a little--was never something he had really experienced in his life. Sure, he got brotherly hugs and high-fives from Alister, and pokes from his mother, and Eknath, although it was usually him bapping Eknath in some way and not the alternative, but someone else?

Someone else that he kinda liked being nice to him and hugging him and whispering politely and stuff.

Okay it was getting warm in here, but --

Lisandru's body posture softened, or as well as it could, at least. "Thank you."

He'd deal with the paying-off-the-blankets problem later.

Feeling that her job was complete....sort of.... Prisma let go of Lisandru."There, all better extremely!" she smiled, looking at him up and down before realization struck her again. "Oh! Must get you out of the blankies!" she laughed, reaching over to gingerly pick at the outtermost blankets, peeling them away as if she were peeling some kind of fruit.

She paused to wave at all the pae that had happened to stop and watch, even going so far as to beam brightly at the stand owner, thinking he was just -so happy extremely- for Lisandru that he couldn't contain himself and was shouting. "I knowy know! It's so fun!" she cooed, picking at the blankets more delicately as they neared layers where there would have been blanket to skin contact. Her small brain was working over time, remembering every step of the way that she would get sick if she touched his skin, and by the process of many inner ramblings, thought that its quite possible that extended to touching things that -touched- Lisandru as well.

Sighing contentedly, she put her hands together and swayed on her heels. "Did you like it extremely?" she asked, genuine hopeful curiosity lighting up her face as her head tilted to the side and she peered over her most favoritest of purpley purple friends.

When Prisma suggested getting him out of the blankets, he let out a sheepish chuckle. That would be a good idea, yes...

When she freed him more, he realized just how many other pae were staring at them, and at that point, Lisandru gulped. Oh. There were a lot of eyes on them. They had made a scene, hadn't they. A scene was probably not a good thing. He didn't need people staring at them as Prisma ever-so-delicately plucked things off his body. Off his ... yeah. Body. That was a thing apparently.

The shouting shopkeeper was probably not a good thing either, and when he was finally able to move his arms, he rubbed the back of his mouth and offered a soft, "Sorry," mouthed in his direction. The shopkeeper did not seem to appreciate this attempt and just started screaming louder. Well, that wasn't going to work. Hopefully he realized that his not-girlfriend here was just a bit of a dunce occasionally. But that was because she was very open and free and nice and extremely excitable to the point of insanity extremely and generally she was just extremely and --

The contented sigh made Lisandru's ears burn a bit.

"Yeah, I did... like it extremely," admitted Lisandru. shyly shuffling his feet. Did Prisma realize what exactly was going through his mind? Probably not, but she had some good ideas (sometimes) so perhaps she had some clue...

In an attempt to distract from his flustered behaviour, Lisandru remarked, "I don't think the shopkeep did."

He liked it!

He really liked it!

Cue the happy screeching, clapping, bouncing, happy dancing, fluttering, happy extremely!

"OH this makes me so so so so so SO happy extremely, sososo very muchy much!" she wiggle wormed in place, almost reaching out to embrace him in another ginormous hug, but stopped. Instead, she balanced on her tip toes, his last comment taking a moment to fully penetrate her mind.

Smiling, she turned back towards the shopkeep, still beaming despite the many angry threats she was receiving just now. As if unphased she reached into the side of her skirt and slipped out a little pouch full of coins. "I'll take all the blankies for Mister Lisandru now huggy hug huged extremely Sir, yesseri!" she nodded, not really stopping to consider she might not have enough money to even pay for all the blankets she had just ruined, however unintentionally. Peering into her purse, she began counting coins, pushing them aside in the little bag with her fingers.

"Oh deary dear..... I'm not sure I have enough." she said at last, though that didn't seem to detract from her overdose of happy.

The poor shetani nearly fell backwards when she screeched, and legitimately almost did on purpose when she looked like she was about to come at him with another hug, but thankfully, she stopped before he ended up needing to call Eknath back from the spa, somehow. Probably with some kind of blood sacrifice, which he really couldn't afford to do all over these blankets that he owed the poor, angry shopkeeper.

Thank the Guardians.

But there was still the problem of the poor angry shopkeeper, and the fact that Prisma was attempting to pay the poor guy off with whatever she had available, which apparently didn't seem to be enough. The shopkeeper did not seem to be happy, repeating that she was not offering what he wanted for the blankets over and over. This wasn't good. Lisandru couldn't let Prisma just be yelled at because she was trying to be nice to him, even though it was clear she really didn't think this one through.

(Of course, being Prisma, she rarely thought any of these ones through, the nervous shetani had quickly learned...)

Lisandru approached the stand, still-gloved hand shifting around in his now no longer buried messenger bag. Could he offer anything to the shopkeeper to make him not want to rip Prisma's poor head off any longer?

He saw something in his bag, and figured it was a long shot, but did he have any other shots left?

Carefully, he pulled out a small vial containing a bright pink solution. "Listen! I'll make it up to you! This, my friend," the shopkeeper groused something about Lisandru being nothing close to a friend at this point, "is a love potion brewed by the brightest scientist of all the land!" His mother, really. "It'll make all the pae you want fall in love with you, yes, you! Much more valuable than some blankets!"

Honestly, he had no idea if this crap worked, he just wanted to distract the shopkeeper with something else long enough to flee out of the area with the blankets. Or maybe get him to just take it as payment. That'd work too. What were they going to do with all these blankets anyway?
