He slammed through a shadow, punched another in the face, and then - they were gone. It was light all around him.
He panted and looked around, gripping Elsie tightly as if expecting another attack - but none came. Not a single shadow came at him here. All that happened was a bored tech announcing his victory.
"I...I did it?" He gasped out, Elsie dropping to the ground, the tether slipping through his hands. "I..."
"I DID IT!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, throwing both fists into the air.
