Doing her best, Cruithne continued to strike out with pavement chunk and hubcap, keeping the youma from taking bites out of her by mere millimeters.
She very nearly lost her grip on her weapons when Eris got behind her long enough to murmur in her ear before darting away and luring the youma along with her. Taking a deep breath, she forced herself to follow the monster quickly, giving a tiny squeak of dismay as Eris cast her magic and the youma went berserk.
What the [hell was even...? Still, this was the best chance she was going to have. Pausing for a moment, she held the hubcap almost like a discus and leaned back. Watching the youma carefully, she twisted her body and then snapped her arm out, sending the hubcap flying through the air. Within moments, it hit the youma's fore-shoulder with a satisfying crack.

The youma launched forward with Cruithne's attack and Eris grabbed hold of the youma by the head and swung it around, shoving it against a building that had a rusted metal re-bar sticking out from it. The youma was promptly impaled and writhing in pain and Eris kicked that re-bar upwards, so it wouldn't be able to escape. "You should finish it off." She looked back to Cruithne and smirked, a little unforgivingly. "If you can hit it hard enough in the head, it'll be dusted. Can you do it?"

For a brief, shining moment, Cruithne felt proud of herself. She'd managed to hold off a youma and even give it a bit of a fight. Maybe she could do this senshi stuff!
The next moment, however, she felt like throwing up. Eyes shifting between the impale and writhing youma and the smirking Eris, Cruithne shivered. Okay, yes. Youma were terrible monsters. But still, this... this sort of thing was far too close to how the Negaverse of her memories had acted. It was barbaric.
And that, perhaps, was what decided her. Monster it might be, but the youma was clearly in pain and it was alive. You shouldn't torture things that were alive. It wasn't right. Stepping forward, Cruithne raised her chunk of pavement and studied the suffering beast. She needed to make this fast. It was a monster, but that didn't mean that it should have a prolonged death.
With tears beginning to leak from her eyes, Cruithne brought her rock down as hard as she could against the youma's head, feeling skin tear and bone shatter. Just as quickly, she dropped the rock and ran a few steps to the side to fall to her hands and knees and throw up the contents of her stomach.

As the pavement was dropped on the youma's head and the finale breath left it, it slowly started turning to dust. The tears made Eris pause and ran over to the girl now, brows knitting tightly as she knelt down in front of her, gathering Cruithne to her arms and held her. "No, hey.. It's okay." Is this how you held someone when they were upset? She wasn't sure, but it felt like what she needed to do. Was she supposed to apologize? Without knowing what to do, she just rocked the smaller senshi to her and stroked over her back lightly. "It's over..."

Cruithne knew it was silly to cry over a youma. But she couldn't help it. She'd never killed anything before, she couldn't even bring herself to squash bugs. Burrowing into Eris' shoulder, she sobbed until the tears were gone and all that was left with tiny, odd hiccups.
Only then did she raise her head and stare up at Eris with bloodshot eyes. She knew that she should thank the older senshi for taking her under her wing. For trying to help her learn. Instead, she very gently pushed herself from Eris' arms and wobbled to her feet. She was tired and wanted to go home and think.
"I-i'm glad we m-met," she said carefully. Oh, she meant it, truly. She just wasn't that glad about anything else. "But I n-need to go h-home now."
Bobbing an odd little curtsy, Cruithne darted off, desperate to get home and power down.
