"Not really, no," Luxor said, blandly and shaking his head thoughtfully. He needed to come out and patrol around town more often but most of the time he just stuck to his area near the carnival and let others worry about the rest of the town. But that was pretty far out of town, and he wondered if sometimes he was too detached.
Sometimes.
He was surprised to be told he was nice, though. At best, he tended to get 'weird' or 'quiet', but not usually nice or friendly. He was grumpy, he knew it, but more than that, he always seemed to look angrier than he really felt. The reputation did not bother him, though, and as such, so far, he had not done much to change it.
"I have been to Pluto a couple of times," he said, nodding his head and thinking back to the strange, tomb-like structures of his homeworld, and all the glowing markings on the walls. "I don't know what kind of travel it is, but we say a little phrase and get... well.. taken to our Wonder. Or... the place we're named after, I guess."

It really wasn't that hard to get onto Liryn's nice list. His team were on there by virtue of being well them, but fish also went a long way towards doing the trick as did being good at scritches. In Luxor's case it was the scritches, well okay mainly the scritches because he'd been serious when he'd said they made a good team.
It was kind of a shame that the Squire didn't really patrol this way, because if he had then Liryn might have tried to find reason to come out this way more often himself, however as it stood this wasn't really his usual area either - at least in as much as he had a usual area.
He was fascinated by Luxor's explanation of how he travelled to his Wonder, a fascination reflected in his purplish eyes as he said "Ooh that's different to how Athene does it. He doesn't say anything, but he always looks like he's super concentrating and he has to use his senshi phone." His voice turned musing "He needs his senshi phone to go to the Moon too." The musing tone was still in his voice as he continued "And Pluto's in space so I guess going to Pluto would count as space travel." At least Pluto counting seemed logical to him.
Caught up as he was in his musing, it didn't occur to Liryn that Luxor probably had no idea who he was talking about, his voice instead turning wistful as he added I'd love to see Pluto some day."
Ironically he wasn't fishing for an invite, although if Luxor offered then he certainly wouldn't turn the Squire down, same as he wouldn't turn down any other offer that would lead to space travel. No it was just that Liryn had found that he rather liked space travel - well at least he liked the little that he'd managed to experience so far - and as such he wanted to do more of it.Lithiasaur sorry for double quotes, was trying to fix some stray missing words

"Phone? We don't have a phone. Just our items, I guess. We use our magic to travel, I think. I don't really know the technical parts, I guess."
He had never really asked before, and had just accepted what happened as... well. What happened. He had no reason to really question it, as he felt like if he started to question one thing it would call his whole existence into uncertainty. He had been given magic power, after all, and could turn into an Egyptian themed super hero at will. Why couldn't he also travel through space and time?
Made about as much sense to him as anything else.
"I can take you to Luxor if you want, some time. It takes a little energy and concentrating for me to do it, but if you meet me at the carnival some time, I can do it. The one just outside of town." As if there were any other permanent carnival amusement parks around.

"I'd like that" Liryn said cheerfully. "Really like that" because as unexpected as the invite was, no way was he going to turn down a Wonder invite - because there was no such thing as too much space travel, never such thing as too much space travel and although he had never come across the carnival that Luxor had mentioned he was pretty sure that he could ask Orah or Arian or perhaps Liam.
And if it came to it and none of them knew, well there was always the type 'carnival on the outskirts of Destiny City' into Google option.
He gave the Squire a feline smile "I'll definitely go there and look for you some time, although for now I need to be heading home."
There was his two senshi back at home to check on - well make that three since although Vespa wasn't his senshi in the way that say the PSSG were, he did consider the wasp senshi his to keep an eye on and help out.
And who knew maybe there'd be some more scritches on offer once he got back to the apartment.

"Have a safe night."
Luxor was a protective sort, though he was so quiet and stoic it was hard for anyone to really know it. He did not want any other youma attacking the little guardian cat and making its life hard for a second time in one night. But he would not follow him around like a... well. A lost cat.
He watched the cat as it left, at the very least, then made to turn and head his own way home, powering down when he was safe enough to do so and walking most of the way in the comfort of pants and a coat.
Maybe if he powered up to his third stage, one day, he would get some sort of pants or a full shirt instead of the Egyptian barely-there ensemble he had now... but he doubted it. Thoughts like that rarely troubled him, though, and he turned his mind to visiting his wonder, and bringing the guardian cat with him. That would be interesting, and possibly fun, though Luxor was hard pressed to really understand that feeling.
