Arith smiled as she came torwards him, cocking his head to the side as the ball was held out."Okay."He handed her the bat and took the ball, trotting over to the pitcher's mound as he did.He walked around it once before hopping onto the mound."Okay, ge' ready!"

Laing took the bat happily and wandered over to the plate. She stood off to the side like he had and tapped it on the ground before raising it up. "Kay! Ready!" She cheered, almost jittering from excitement. Perhaps she could swing really hard, then if she hit she would hit it far. Or maybe she would swing slower to make sure she hit it. Oh well, she'd figure it out when the ball came.

Arith gave a nod and brought the ball up to his face, as he had seen one of the guys on the tv do, before pulling his arm back.His eard perked forward and tail flicked upwards as he brought his arm forward, throwing the ball torwards the plate.It was a tad low, and seemed to move off to the right just a tad, but was hitable.

Liang got a little rush from the ball coming at her and swung hard and early, nearly clopping herself in the head as she missed. The ball rolled off behind her, thumping into the grass. She fell back onto her butt, giggling insanely. If she'd been in her other sort of mood, she would have been upset by the 'loss', but as it stood, she was still ecstatic about her first try hitting a ball pitched to her instead off just tossed in the air by herself.

Arith bounded forward to see if she was okay, and finding the girl giggling assumed she was."Heh, dat was a goo' swing."He bounced over to the ball and scooped it up before returning back infront of the girl.He smiled and held out a hand to help her up.

Liang took the hand happily, "Thank you!" She managed to contain her giggles, and brushed off the few scratches on her arms. She was fine, a little bit dirty and cut, but oh well. "Can try again?"

She nodded, taking few soft practice swings with the bat, "Yeah!" Her mother would have stopped to study her, she was acting so odd, but oh well, there was something in her mind that had been wanting to be let out, and this seemed to be it. Well, she wasn't hurting anyone with it, so it was fine, "Again!"

"Okay!"Arith narrowed his eyes and pulled his arm back, waiting a few seconds as he aimed the throw, before his hand came forward, sending the ball torwards home plate.The ball was went almost perfectly down the middle, just a tad to the left.

Liang waited this time, and swung hard when it was right in front of her. CRACK. The bat made contact and the ball flew out into left field, and Liang nearly screeched, dropping the bat at her feet. What did the people on TV do when they hit it? They ran didn't they? Yeah! With that in mind she ran circles around homeplate, never thinking to go to another part of the diamond, "Yaaay!"

Arith's ears perked forward when she hit the ball, grinning as the ball flew off torwards left field."You hit it!"He ran off after the ball, running in a sort of zig zag.He lunged forward and caught the ball just as it was about to hit the ground and spun around, making his way back torwards the pitcher's mound."That was cool, you hit it really far!"He cheered as he bounced back onto the mound.

Liang jumped up and down and started to skip as she rounded homeplate a few more times. When did the people on TV stop running? Was it when people cheered for them? Hmm. Well, the new boy was cheering, so maybe she could stop now. She slowed down, tugging at the baggy shirt that had earlier seemed so appropriate and free. "Yeah! And you catched it!" She cried, ignoring the wisps of hair that fluttered in her eyes.

Liang nodded, panting heavily from her sprints around the plate, "Yeah! Another!" She was tired, sure, but as most toddlers do, she had a near endless supply of extra energy. So, she would be willing to go again and again. Until she passed out at least.
