Shu didn't like her question being ignored, but it wasn't the right timing to ask for it, at least she knew. "Hmm huh." The reply was just the opposite of Leslie's, very soft, like when you touch the cotton. "You-you got involved?" She asked with a tone much softer than her normal voice, her face only written with one thing - worry. ===== Eye testingShu turned the book over after he finished, and the frown was deep. Putting the book down, she adjusted her glasses and read what the line she pointed to was and made a unhappy face. "Leslie, you need glasses." She announced the result. "You will mistake a happy dolphin coming to you into a fierce shark." Still the :< face at Leslie. The petite girl pointed to a small fish outside the glass, "Can you see what this happy fish is?"

Eye Testing
"But I don't ******** wannnt them," he groaned, like a temperamental child. "I think these are bullshit, this is bullshit, and that's not a fish, that's a. Uh."
He squinted, and would squint until Shu interrupted him.

Eye TestingCLICK!"It's a seahorse." CLICK!"You don't want them, but you need them." Shu showed him the screen of her phone, which had a lateral face of a boy squinting his eyes at something in front of him, hands laid flat and head shoved too close to the full height glass panel. "And here's a lovely picture of the seahorse we just saw, your big face scared it away." < Wow silly, that's something.>

Red EyeShu didn't say anything but gave Leslie a hug, petting his back. "You're back, you're still living." The petite girl sat down after releasing Leslie, arms around her legs. "....In the promo mission. An abandoned base far away." The soft voice told everything in the nude, from how she teamed up with Molly and Noemi, Shu's best friend to the discovery of a camp battlefield, where the gallons of blood absorbed by the earth, and corpses carelessly disposed like lifeless dolls in different in-combat postures, faces distorted. It was hard to rewind the memory, but she story-tell how they suddenly fought with each other, eyes glowed in malicious red and finally break her friend's shield to put her in danger. She was then under observation separately, until they could confirm she was normal. "I couldn't make sure what was the cause of it, but it started at the camp. So - maybe it's infectious, but the media is unknown. At least low-rank hunters like us won't obtain the information on that." She rest her head gentle on her knees.

Red Eye Leslie didn't shrug her touch away, but neither did he return it. It was startling to hear that Shu had experienced it, too." "Sounds like the same s**t," he said, and after a moment of hesitation, awkwardly landed a hand on her shoulder, gripping it tight for a moment, an act of solidarity and shared suffering. " Definitely infectious. Almost like the base itself was what was tainted."

Eye Testing < Oh, silly, you did something successfully, that's RARE. I am scared.> Chose to ignore how exaggerate the beast in mind was, Shu was actually happy for convinced the Mist hunter. "Better take a leave, yes, it does take some times to pick one suitable, both functional and aesthetical. Some people look hilarious and weird with the wrong type of glasses. Hmm...it depends. First, there's a base price for just the frame, then another price considering how thick your lenses are. It can be ranged from around USD $200 in average to more than $600 for designer frames, it's hard to quote an exact price to you." Shu made musing sound and made exchange rate conversion in mind, from her home currency to us dollar. "Don't worry, if it's durable, you will only need one pair! We are different from normal humans now, so your vision problem won't go worse. If you don't mind, we can go together....or you prefer to go with Abbi?" < You're really enthusiastic, aren't you~?> The mocking was a bit mischievous.

Red Eye The petite girl didn't think that she would get the return, she just wanted to show her care to her friend, a friend that experienced similar horrible things like her, or even worse. However, when she felt the warmth from her shoulder, she couldn't deny that she was delighted for the shorter distance between them. "I hope they are working on the source of it, I don't wanna see more victims." Shu frowned and said with a depressed voice. "It's sad and traumatic to attack someone by your own hands, and - and even worse, if you know them....The guilt will never leave you even it subsided through time.....it feels like - like the hidden darkness and negativity within you was greatly magnified. I really really hope they can tackle with it before another victim is created." The small hands crossed tightly, eyes widened and then her head slumped into the area between her arm, slowly rubbing in a lackadaisical manner. "The next one.....might be our friends...." The mutter scarcely hearable.

Eye Testing More than anything, Leslie hated the idea of spending money. But since he'd lifted a wallet on that leave with Jack, he supposed he had some extra money. "You're the one with the enthusiasm or whatever. We can go this weekend."

"Yeah." From within his many pockets, Leslie procured a lighter and a pack of cigarettes, putting them to good use. He was sure she wouldn't take the offer, but nonetheless, Leslie held his pack out to her, eyebrow raised.
"I get the ********' feeling we won't be so lucky. It's bigger than anything."

Shopping"Leslie, you're not cooperating at all. You have to TRY them on to find out what shape of frame suit your face first, then color. You won't get used to it in a second, give yourself some times." Shu sighed to the sulky face. "Put them on and I will take some pictures so you can see how you look in them." The petite girl sat next to the Mist hunter smiled sweetly to the saleslady. The smart saleslady got the message smiled back and said, "Please call me if you need any help" before she walked away to assist other customers. "Ok, this pair first." She picked up one with round and wide lenses and handed to the boil, smiling with a no-rejection-please aura.

Red Eye "I-" She raised her head up to look at Leslie and found he holding up a box of cigarettes. The petite girl made a shocked face, eye opened widely and gaped at him. She stood up abruptly, "What're you doing?!" It was full of panic and anxiety, head raised up weirdly but aimlessly. "Is there any smoke detector here? If so, the alarm might ring!" Shu was like an ant on a hot pan, not sure what to do but flailing round, what she wanted to say was thrown behind.

Leslie grunted in disapproval. "I don't want any ******** colour. Black or nothing. I don't need rainbow s**t." He put the glasses on, looked in the mirror, and then tossed them back at Shu.
"No round."
