I was working on events until last summer, but now events have been handed off to Kkkkris . Events are the toughest assignment on Gaia, because the time limit is set by the holiday. We can't change the date for Halloween for example. She is doing a great job, and I'm happy to be working on apps and games.

If it's ok, I actually have a question for lanzer - from reading the announcement made earlier today, it seems like you weren't active on gaia (at least thats what i can tell, i'm not the brightest lol ). if that's true, what was the one thing about Gaia that you think has changed the most? So how long have Lanzer and the others been back, technically? I was generally expecting to find out after the beginning of next year if we were going to be stuck with the other guys for another year.
As of yesterday the control had been handed off to us, so the other guys are now floating somewhere in the void of space.
However, it'll be some time before me and others have discussed what to work on and get some new projects going. So stay tuned on what's to come, probably after the new year.

It just feels weird that you guys don't engage in the dress-up part of the site on the front end, when it's one of, if not THE main feature of the site.
We just discussed it when we saw your question. We have come to the conclusion that we fall into that group of guys that pick a look and stick with it! We tend to do this in real life as well.

What were your thoughts on Ready Player One, for those that have seen it in theaters?
I really enjoyed the movie, though there are parts such as the last few lines of the movie where you feel that there's a big disconnect between Spielberg and a real gamer. There are a lot of what it means to be online, on a virtual world, and being an avatar that the story just glanced over.

A great way to earn money is to buy yourself a rocket launcher, then tell your neighbors that you have a rocket launcher and is not afraid to use it. There were no intention to use any weapons to begin with, as it made no economic sense and will truly realize their fear of external forces invading them through using the nukes. How has your day been? My day is relatively fine; I am regretting going to Taco Bell.

-raises hand- To be fair, though, my roommates had the living room a mess for the last few days so I hadn't been able to actually get to my tree. xp I plan to put it away this weekend, after I get a new tote to hold everything. Personally I think Tyrion should be the one sitting on the Iron Throne when all is said and done. He is actually the ONLY one who seems to want to do good for the kingdoms, not just because he was told he should, or because he thinks he has a right to unlike all the others.
When I read the novel I just skip all the chapters to read Tyrion's stories first. Easily my favorite character. (though there are many close seconds)

Yes, the wounds did not get any infections so they healed up nicely. I still can't put pressure on them as the scabs are formed pretty deep, and will take quite a while for them to be pushed to the surface. However I can type at full speed now so I'm happy. Started doing gardening again last weekend!

How is your hand Lanzer? Doing better i hope! Did you know Cats purr at a frequency that help promote healing? You should have Waffles nearby to pet. You heal a bit faster and he gets his love.
It's doing a lot better, and I don't have to wear bandages anymore! I had a whee bit of an infection but that's healing gradually. The scab underneath the skin is still pretty far down, so it's still gonna be a while until I can stretch my fingers all the way back. Hopefully after I return from Singapore and Canada I'll be able to do archery again. Both my brother in law and my younger brother are getting married this month!

Cod Vein looks pretty cool. I recently played Bloodstained and I wish I played the PS4 version instead of the Switch version where everything was fuzzy.
I do have Death Stranding and Cyberpunk pre-ordered, but that's a long way out. Also looking forward to the Monster Hunter update in October.

Are there any truly terrifying movies out there? Survival/monster movies just seem lame in comparison to the true horror of going into 300k$ college debt and being forever alone and unemployed. Why arn't there any movies like that ???
There should be one where we voted a reality TV star into office and now he's hell bent on destroying the environment. Another one is about someone who is stuck in a country where your thoughts and speech are monitored, and saying the wrong thing will get you shipped to a prison and never seen again. Both very scary.

Personally I see why there's so much controversy but frankly I'm loving the game. It's so beautiful!!
I love Pokemon, played a lot of the classic games versions such as Ruby, played black and white a lot, and had a ton of fun with Pokemon Go.
Though at the same time because the gameplay had stayed consistent over the years, I'm not following every version. From knowing how much money they make, I'm surprised that they made the decisions that they did. I would think that they'd sooner mix up the general beats of the game rather than focusing on graphics and sacrificing the roster. The fact that they still haven't made a compelling multiplayer mode is one of the reasons why I'm not excited about recent iterations.

Ok, I have a hard one for you guys. Let's see if you answer. Personal Why did you chose to work for Gaia? Was it for the community or did you see something on Gaia that you thought you could help implement or create? Did you ever manage to complete your goal? If not, why?
Where do you see Gaia progressing in the next few years? Hopes and aspirations for the company or is there a particular direction you would like to see it go towards?
What kind of work did you do previous to working for Gaia? Was it a smooth transition or was there anything you would have done to improve it?
Are there any goals outside of Gaia that you are hoping to complete, but haven't been able to yet? What are you planning on doing to make the dream a reality?
1. When I applied for an artist position I was already in love with pixel art and had been dolling (making pixel clothes on a base) for awhile. I saw Gaia as a dream job as I could actually get PAID for what had been just a hobby. I didn't come on board with a particular goal, I just wanted to make pretty clothes too!
2. This is a tough question as I feel so much depends on you guys and what interests you have and what you want to wear next! I hope more people use the paws base though! I love making items for paws.
3. I was working full time as a Graphic Designer (mostly boring work making medical power point slides) and contracting for Gaia. When the first job went away I just did Gaia full time so it was pretty easy for me.
4. I'd love to do more personal art and learn how to do art in more mediums!

I always drew, but I only took it seriously after I realized that even though I got into my first school on the back of a portfolio filled with Inuyasha fanart, that this is not how the real world worked (got into my much better school with a portfolio filled with, you know, figure drawing lmao)

Two of my favorites are charcoal masks (I use a cheapo Daiso brand LOL) and this sugar face scrub.
I don't use masks. But sometimes I use this Daiso Nose Pack (cause I'm cheap too). Works pretty well but can get somewhat messy.

Since I'm in Colorado, I don't get to as much as I would love to! But whenever I'm in Cali, I try to stop by Gaia HQ or at least get together for dinner or something o3o)b Some of the Gaia artists past and present have been long time con buddies of mine anyway razz

Also, how do you feel about Gaia discounting all these rainbow tickets, meaning you have to do extra work?
I LOVE working for Gaia. I had to leave for a few years but came running back when the opportunity came. I work on Project Custom so I dont mind it at all! More tickets means more work and a paycheck for me, so keep em coming! <3

Aw, sweet of you to ask! Yes, I've been away from the office for the past few months recovering from some bad medical issues- but recently had a surgery that has allowed me to return to work (last Monday actually!)
