Liryn jumped up after Snowball, hearing the scrape and squeak as the other cat got the door open.
"Some buttons would be nice" he agreed cheerfully, knowing that he could probably find a use for them. "Cogs would be nice too" he added as he followed after Snowball.
Even without cogs though, Liryn could see that Snowball was right and that there was a veritable treasure trove of potentially useful things for them to rifle through.
Something glinted, catching his eyes and Liryn nosed through scraps of discarded fabric until he was able to unearth it.
It was a button, shaped as a flower, with purple stones as petals and a white sparkly stone centre remembering that the other cat had mentioned looking for purple things called out "Hey Snowball. Over here!" He nosed the button towards the fluffy white cat "Do you want this for your collection?"

Snowball's tail flickered as he was walking around. He paused when Liryn mentioned he found something, ears perked the cat moved over to investigate. "Ohh yes that's lovely!" He picked it up and squirreled it into his fur.
"Hm.. I should get a small bag to carry my finds in."
He looked around before starting to move things aside and dig down, "Sometimes the best stuff is buried like treasure!" He added as he pulled out a few purple feathers and tucked them into his fur so that he now looked as if he'd been feathered by a purple bird.
Snowball then continued until he found some keys and cogs, "Hey Liryn, you want these?" He asked holding them up in his maw since they seemed to be on some sort of bracelet like contraption.

Liryn poked his head head up from where he had been poking through more scraps of fabric, bits and pieces of material falling off his head as he tilted his head over to look at Snowball and the fluffy white mauvian's find.
"That's perfect" he said cheerfully as he carefully prodded a couple of the cogs dangling from the bracelet-like thing.
Of course he would have to get them all off, small key included because you never knew when these things would come in handy... But he was up for the task, even if it looked like getting the cogs off with his paws might be a little fiddly.
"It's perfect" he repeated as he slipped the bracelet-like thing into his subspace pocket. "Thank you."
A part of him wondered if Athene would want the bracelet once he was done with getting the key and all the cogs off - after all the dark-haired eternal was always making stuff with beads and stuff when he was being Arian.

Snowball smiled as Liryn said that was prefect. He purred, "Awesome! You're welcome."
The cat decided to shove his head out the door of the dumpster to look outside. "Hey Liryn it's getting late." He looked back at the other cat, "I think maybe we should call it a day and grab some food. Niflhel'll start worrying if I don't show up shortly before dark."
He grinned, "If you want you can come with, I think he's going to attempt to fix some sort of spaghetti thing." He paused, "Niflhel is soooooo not that great of a cook but he can do okay with pre-made things and throwing other stuff in it so it's not quite as . . . . premade?" That sounded weird but oh well, "I guess everyone has their downfalls huh?"
Snowball was climbing out as he spoke waiting for Liryn to join him and decide if he wanted to tag along or if he had to split now.litian We could wrap it with whichever choice you want?

Liryn considered Snowball's offer.
The fluffy white cat was correct in that it was starting to get late, the thought of food sounded good enough that he figured it would be okay for him to stay out a little longer... And okay he was curious about Snowball's Niflhel.
"I'd like that" he said as he followed Snowball out. "That is if Niflhel won't mind me tagging along."
A thought occurred to him "And if I can message Athene or Ida from your place."
He waited until he was on the ground before continuing "And perhaps you can come visit me back sometime - I know Athene and Ida won't mind."
After all he'd heard the two of them discussing setting up the apartment as a place where those like them could come by and they always left the balcony door unlocked.
"And both Athene and Ida cook" he thought about it. "Well Athene bakes, but it works."

Snowball nodded as Liryn spoke, "Nawh Niflhel won't mind. It's not like he's going to turn into a little ol' cat lady." He started laughing a little bit, "No really though I think at least seeing some sort of friends might make him feel better."
He nodded, "Yeah Niflhel can send it from his ring or we can call."
Snowball's ears flicked up with interest," Oh I'd love that! It'd be so neat to see where the other cats stay."
He also nodded, "Oh good, so I know where to go for food when I'm stuck with just Niflhel."
Anyways, we're not horribly far! Come on I'll lead the way~" Snowball said as he started off towards his house.
