With the theme possibly being Angelic/Demonic or something like that, is there something we could tie the GCA to incorporate that theme?
I think I'll research what angelic/demonic items are inexpensive. If you're in dire need of a host, Chibi, I might be able to help still. I don't have plans for Halloween since Gaia's more fun anyway at that time. =P If anything I can host a themed avatar contest. =)

Okay Tree Huggers we need to get to finalizing our Halloween event. Here's what we'll need to get some final details on: mini contests, giveaways, best dressed themes, best dressed prizes, and art contest prizes.
✘ Mini Contests and Giveaways: Along with the usual door prizes giveaway I also want to have a page number post giveaway and a quote the post giveaway. I can run the door prizes but it would be awesome if I can have a couple of volunteers to help with the page number post giveaway and the quote the post giveaways. If you want to help but don't think you'll have the time to run something then these giveaways will be the easiest thing to do. The prize people will be handing out will be the grab bags from Edmund's shop. If you're concerned it will cut into your questing funds you don't have to be concerned about that. The guild will pay each volunteer one billion gold to use towards the grab bags during the event. Once the event is over with whatever is left the volunteers can use the gold for whatever quests or items they want. So if you think you can devote at the very least twenty minutes a day during the event to checking page numbers and hiding a small graphic in random posts then I'd love have your help.
Also, I want to know how many door prizes we should give out: one, two, or three?
✘ Best Dressed Themes and Prizes: I'm thinking with the best dressed for this event we should have three themes people can submit avatars under: Steampunk (for the whole time travel aspect of the event), Angelic/demonic, and general Halloween costumes.
Human Prizes: Right to Bare Arms, Right to Bare Arms 2, October 2014 letter
Animal Prizes: October 2014 letter, [Animal] Perimeter Scout, [Animal] Light Brown Swirl Ponytail, [Animal] Agape's Cut
✘ Art Contest Prizes: I was thinking for the best regular art we give out a full set of GOSH dolls meaning Navigator Gino, Regular Gino, Overseer, Sentinel, Ladyhands, Edmund, Meili, and Brennevin. For the best chibi art we can either hand out the Red Horns of the Demon or another Animal prize pack.
That's where we stand at this point. If you have any suggestions or still want to donate any items, like possible decent human items, the Crowdfunding is still accepting donations for Halloween. If you have any other suggestions feel free to offer them.
Also, if there's something you want to do for the event but don't want to go through making an entire thread for it I'll be happy to host your activity or freebie art or any other Halloween event fun you want to do.

I will do a tarot reading for free for people who bump once in the thread but they have to quote me. Sadly my life got way to busy all of a sudden and I hate it! But like I said, I'll do it for free!

Wooooo! heart It gives people a reason to want to stick around the thread. Plus, the more fun things we have that people don't have to worry about having skill to take part in the more inclusive the thread becomes.

Also, how about a "guess where I got my outfit" minigame. Like, someone dresses up in an outfit entirely from one shop or wears something from each shop and posts which body part outfit should be guessed smile It could be like the quote the picture game

Thank you so much. This really is the easiest job to have and really doesn't take much time to do anyhow. I'll consider the mini game idea and see if we can work it in with everything else.
