Paige took that last hit from Harland and grinned, but immediately desummoned Harle. "You hit hard, yourself, cowboy," Paige adjusted the chain of Harle's pendant around her neck before crossing her arms over her chest. "No sense in taking s**t further. That take you long to learn? Using your weapon, I mean. Sometimes I just feel like I'm swinging around a giant spiky baseball bat, you know what I mean? Nothing as complicated as that there," she dipped her head towards Coyote and chuckled ruefully.

Harland was grateful that Paige seemed pretty relaxed about things; it was more fun to spar with someone like this. He desummoned Coyote, too, though Coyote returned to Harland's naval where he was a sheriff's badge naval piercing with little dangling handcuffs.
"Go raibh maith agat,"he said, "Thanks." He beamed with pride. He kind of missed Coyote's weight, when the Kishi was desummoned.
"Nah, surprisingly... what took me a long time t' remember is that my assets in Death are my mind, an' my memory-- analyzin' how someone fights is the most important for this weapon, an' if I forget that an' try to brute force a fight I lose quick," Harland said. He laughed.
"Paige, may I add you to my contacts? I'd appreciate bein' friends after this, if ye'd spare me a thought now an' again," he asked, holding his phone out to her. An invitation to add herself in.

"Sure thing, cowboy," Paige gave the phone a pained look before wrangling it enough to figure out how to put her information in it. It took some fumbling with her own phone to bring her own number up. She immediately tapped it into Harland's phone. "You ever need anything, let me know."

pinchmonster Text to PaigeNow you have my info, too. Harland didn't stare at her while she worked his phone, because he would have felt like he was trying to rush her. He wasn't the worst or best with tech, really; pretty average at it.
"Sure, an' same t' ye," Harland replied, beaming. "Well... I'd best be off, I had a great time sparrin'," he said, grinning.
