Livian peeked one eye open to look at the dwarf and boy who were talking rather loudly, particularly the human boy. She finished her song, and frowned at the two of them, growling a little as she stood up.

Zukiel shrugged and said, "I know. That's why I'm here. I want to investigate and help, if possible." He picked up his tankard of ale, and drank a chug. "Ugh! Ew, Mom was right! I wouldn't like ale at all...." he said with a frown, almost a pout.
(+8 hide = 25, so....no. Not yet.)

The barman paused in cleaning his glass again, watching Zukiel through squinted eyes through his sudden outburst. Then he rolled his eyes and went back to cleaning his glass, "Young people..."

(hrm...stupid really high hide check. i almost crit!)
"well, help you can, i guess. Was planning to leave in that direction in a bit, but..." he bangs his armor a bit. "i'm more suited to taking hits then giving 'em. helps to have someone more swordsmanlike around. or an archer." He then looks at the ground, where what appears to be a bundle of clothing is. "just waiting for the bundle of joy there to wake up."
(Shadow_Dragon_Ninja_Child's character is almost done and created, so the person told me they're sleeping on the floor. should post soon-ish today.)

Livian stormed up to the barman and pointed a finger at him. "Look here, good sir! I was told I'd get paid a good coin for singing! And I can't sing with these ruffians talking so loudly!" she said, sounding very feisty.

The bundle of clothing sticks out a hand and lightly swipes at Colson and quickly goes back under the robe. "I don't wanna..." it softly says, curling up a little more.
(Do I need to do the spot check as well, considering I'm curled up on the floor?)

(No, you don't have to. Also, don't worry about spotting him. You can't unless you crit, so I'd just wait for Zukiel to introduce him.)
"Well, I'm training to be a master swordsman!" Zukiel said, nodding his head proudly, and tapping his chest. "My master was King Kyle, who is a good friend of our family, and he's the best swordsman in the world! ...Probably." He then turned to Livian and bowed slightly. "Also, please forgive my rudeness, I didn't mean to interrupt your beautiful voice..." he said, taking her hand in his, kissing it gently.

Zinder slowly crawled to a sitting position and stretched. "Thanks Colson. Now I gotta wake up." She yawns loudly and pulls herself up to the chair next to him. "May I have some water, please?" She called to the bartender.

The bartender eyes Zinder strangely for a moment, but filled a glass with water and slid it over to her to drink. He mumbled something about "outsiders and their drinking habits" under his breath.

Zinder grabs the glass of water and quickly hides her hands and the glass under her robes and drinks the water. "Thank you, sir." She said quietly.

Livian frowned more, then turned to the others, who had interrupted her singing, but then stopped, blushing furiously when Zukiel kissed her hand. "W-well... You still owe me! I sang my heart out, and you and the dwarf were talking so loudly, I could barely hear myself sing! So, now you're stuck with me." she said, gathering up her quarterstaff.

Zukiel blinked, then said, "Alright, I can deal with that. Oh, my name is Zukiel Galas, by the way." He extended his hand out to the dwarf. "I didn't catch yours."

He takes his hand in a strong grip and shakes it. "Name's Colson, merchant bodyguard and mild adventurer. the shy lass goes by Zinder" pointing towards the robed woman beside him. "So, i don't suppose we can go together to the glens then? check out all this fuss? and i'm sure the village might be grateful enough to throw a few coins our way in gratitude, if that might make up for our rudeness." This last he says nodding towards the singer.
