Perking up with both ears twitching, the manx commented "I don't know if I legitimately count as the cutest, but you get more bees with honey, yes?" With a giggle, she asked "What's stopping you, Mintaka?"

Well since she was given permission....Mintaka did scoop the manx up, moved her to her lap and spoiled ********* with all the pettings and love she could manage.
"Protocol mostly, respect. Like I said, I don't want to treat you like some common household cat but its hard not to want too." She really wanted to play with her paws, but refrained.
"Yes this is true, and I'm never shy of compliments." She smiled, "I suppose since I have you here captured in my arms...How long have you been on earth *********? I assume that you didn't originally...awaken here?"

The cat's eyes drifted up towards the sky as she thought about the question. That was a very good question, and unfortunately, a question the tailless Guardian didn't have a complete answer for.
"...Well... I have been in this city for about 4... no... closer to 5 years..." Bringing a paw up to her maw, she chewed on the spot slightly.
"...however, I don't really remember too much prior to that point... I am sorry I'm not much help there!"
From her current spot, she nuzzled up against Mintaka's uniform, clearly making herself comfortable. "...Anyways... you can tuck that address under my collar... I can sort it out later!"

Mintaka's pettings only lessoned a little.
"That was a impolite question, and forgive me." She nuzzled the guardian cat a little, "Thank you so much for having patience with me *********, I know I asked a lot, and I am really grateful you took the time to answer all of them."
And she did as the manx asked, by slipping the piece of paper under her collar.
"would you like one more cookie before you head off?" At least she assumed that ********* has duties to attend too.

"Of course I would like one more cookie!" There was no hesitation in her tone as she perked up, eagerly eyeballing the plate of cookies from Mintaka's lap.
"It is no problem at all, Mintaka! It is what I am here for, afterall!"
