Shiki walked to a familiar booth, anticipating a game of gnome smashers, only to see that something else was going on. That strange student thing where people wanted others to vote for them. The kitsune gave a little smile, knowing that he was likely being a pest. He would have liked to vote, but he wasn't even enrolled let alone a student. Still there seemed to be something he could do while he wasted everyone's time. "M-May I play?" He stammered softly pointing to the balloons. Shiki's throw was perfect, thunking into the board and popping a balloon cleanly. Maybe too cleanly, as the dart seemed to be embedded all the way to the flags. "Uh..." He flicked his ears down thinking how hard it would be to get that back out. Face your demons Score 74 points (id Steal)

[[ OOC: Gotcha! Thanks heart I'll roll on the last day, and then winners pick whichever of my SEs they want O uOb You can keep playing once a day to get additional tickets to this.]]
"Welcome, of course you may play," Amarus said, poising her hand over the metal cases. She flipped them up quickly, letting the balloons fly. He chose well, popped a balloon with its lotus score inside: 74. Amarus clapped her hands together approvingly.
"What a marksman you are," she complimented him. It was a lot easier now to be kind to others than it once had been, and her expression looked much happier than one might have imagined once.
"Please visit me on the last day, I will be happy to announce the winners. You are welcome to come by and play again, naturally-- and, without saying, I would naturally appreciate you speak well of me in the future. Who knows, perhaps it will be very relevant to you that I am the VP some day?" Amarus smiled, her silvery eyes amused. "Take a spookie for your travels," she added, pushing the plate forward. The spookie tombstones with her campaign iced on them were safe to eat.
Everything else was spiked.

Shiki took the cookie with a stammered thanks. He then swallowed and tried the game again, it was past midnight and it did say he could play once a day. Flushing a bit more he picked up one more dart and threw it at the board.
Urk... well he still managed to score but he would stick to his last one.
"I... I will.. I will speak well.... I know someone else who is going to be coming to the .. to the school.. I will.. mention you...?"

It would have been incredibly rude of her to not visit her club leader's booth! Granted, Piper had been a little flighty when it came to the Aegis Animus meetings...and that one outing...This was not a good way to psyche herself up. Man, this whole election thing was making her way too nervous.
Casual as could be, Piper made her way over. A panda grumpkin King had somehow nestled itself stop her head and was eying the ghost with narrowed eyes. "Heyyyy, 'Marus," she greeted. Noticing the array of snacks, she grinned. "Got anyone with those yet?"

He knew the ghoul at the next booth, which made it all the more better that he visit her. Llyr drifted up towards the table and beamed at the ghoul behind it, the chains looped around his torso clinking gently as he made to reach for her hand, squeezing her fingers.
"Good afternoon, Amarus!" he said brightly. "I see you are running for Vice President! That is very lovely of you, and you look so pretty today! I am glad to see you have decided to do so, I am running for President myself! Your booth is so very wonderful."
He let go of her hand and reached into the bag he was carrying, ruffling around for a few moments before pulling out something small and delicate. A pale pink flower crown, which he offered to her with a gentle smile on his face.
"For you!" said Llyr happily. "I wish you luck with your campaign!"

Amarus greeted the boil who’d come to play before, and was pleased. "I am glad you have returned, and that you have a friend. What dormitory would house you?" she asked, "Were you to attend, naturally."
Following that, Piper arrived and Amarus was glad to see her in any case. She laughed, when Piper asked her if she’d gotten anyone with her snacks, yet. "I have been very generous in warning others, though I am disappointed so few are brave. I would not hurt them, of course," she replied, with a wicked smile. She had nothing against her club members; she hadn’t held a meeting in a while, since everyone seemed terribly busy, but they all knew her running schedule and they were always welcome to join her.
"Are you enjoying the festivities thus far, Piper?" she asked, pushing a safe spookie forward with a gesture as if welcoming Piper to take it. "Who is your friend?" She asked, tilting her head. Malachi was stalking somewhere in the cluster of booths, her Lupia.
With Llyr’s arrival, Amarus felt her heart swell. "Llyr, friend who is a dream, I am so pleased to see you here-- a gift?" she asked, surprised. "It is beautiful.. if only it had a Llyr for President label," she said, laughing, though she was insincere in that proposition-- it was beautiful exactly the way it was. Her voice grew quieter as she accepted it. "I will treasure this," she said, sincerely. "I am grateful for your visit, and your words of encouragement. I will have to visit your booth and return the kindness," she promised. Amarus settled the crown into her hair.
"May I hug you?" Amarus asked, tipping her head to the side, her bells ringing. The crown was secured by them. She tapped one finger to her lip, thinking. It was a strange thing to ask, for her.

He liked the idea of being a dream. What a nice title!
Llyr also liked Amarus because she was lovely and floaty and quite pleasant to get along with. Sometimes her thoughts seemed to be similar to his own, always drifting and moving, and he found it very refreshing, not to mention somewhat reassuring.
"Ah..." His expression turned vaguely worried. "I forgot to bring you a pin, but I should bring you one next time! And yes!" he added brightly, already moving around the booth to reach her. "I do so like hugs!"
Llyr wrapped his arms around the ghoul without waiting for an answer, smiling as he squeezed her tight. "I am glad you are my friend!"

It was probably good that they didn't spend too overly much time together, since it was true they were both pretty strange and not entirely hinged to reality very firmly. "Please do, I will find a place to wear it," Amarus said, "hardly a reason to look so worried." She was secretly thrilled that Llyr had agreed to hug her.
She laughed, and buried her head against him for a second. "I am glad we are friends, too, Llyr-- we can bond over our mutual long hair," she joked.
"Be well, Llyr, and if anyone ever harms you I will hunt them down and make them regret it sorely," she promised, with a sweet smile and a terrifying sincerity to her promise.
Nobody was ever going to hurt her friends-- detention or not, she'd get even. Now, happy campaign smile times!

There were so many fascinating sights entering her field of vision in this booth. Alpinely browsed with great interest and then found it hard to try to make a choice between the selection of goodies available. She had been trying, yes, contemplating as her right index finger tapped her right cheek but was then mesmerized by her eyes staring into space while she was in thought then transitioning to watching the blue lights pulse.

Amarus smiled at Alpinely. "It is tough to decide, when there are so many options, is it not?" Amarus asked. She tapped a finger to her lower lip, and then with one open palm gestured towards the brownies. "Rich, sweet, and they will make you feel light," then the lemonade, "to quench your thirst, but it will make your mind feel like those lights look," she said, nodding to the heartbeat pulse of the blue lights, how they were mesmerizing. Finally, "The campaign spookies are harmless, but the cupcakes will make sores on your heart vanish," Amarus said, with a wave of one hand.
"It is quiet tonight, would you like to stay and chat for a moment? I am Amarus, Lotus Eater, and I am pleased to be a candidate for vice presidency. Would you say you are troubled, or are your mind and heart clear as a cloudless sky?" she asked, pouring herself a cup of punch and sipping at it, watching the new individual over the rim of her cup, through her pink lashes.

Now this looks interesting. San was walking by and heard about some sort of voting going on soon with some of the students for the student council. He then saw a dark, aged wooden booth which caught his attention along with the group of students standing in front of it; assuming that this must be one of them. Taking a few steps towards to the booth, he saw that it belonged to a ghostly ghoul seeing how she is talking to the other students. "She seemed nice . . ." He thought just before he saw some of the food displayed on the booth. His stomach growled a bit, taking now a few steps closer to see some of the interesting yet delectable desserts, and his glowing red eyes looked over to the ghoul. ". . . may I have one?" He asked in being polite if it was alright to pick one up, even though he has no idea which one to pick and eat. The large Rakshasa even looks perplexed on the choices.

Miidnight Melody MIIIII heart I'm so happy you would visit me! ^^ Thanks for stopping by heart IT's nice to see you up and about again! San would be terribly wrong about her kindness, in a way. As far as her reputation went, she had hinged her existence on others finding her unpleasant or a bit hard to get close to. It was nicer that way. Lonely, at times, though, when the ones she loved were gone. Sometimes when she shut her eyes she could picture that walk with Mot and his foxfire, the lunch with Llyr, the laser tag with Freya, the chat with Kettil and Freya, Mort’s discussion of souls, Muka at the play, and most of all Enzo pulling her up onto the stage with all those lights-- Amarus always pushed the thoughts away, and focused on being strong. Kind was not a word she’d use to describe herself.
Nevertheless, as San approached, the smile he’d receive was soft. "Welcome, you may naturally have one. If you have a troubled mind, I would suggest taking a brownie, or the cupcake-- those cupcakes were the very first thing I ever learned how to bake, with Xiu’s patient instruction," Amarus admitted.
"If, however, you have no part of you that you wish to calm, may I suggest one of the tombstone spookies? I am Amarus, Lotus Eater. We have never met, have we? I am in my third year, and campaigning for Vice President. So, which is it? Do you have a troubled mind," Amarus asked, gesturing to the plate of brownies and cupcakes, "or do you sleep in peace no matter the things that have happened?" she gestured secondly to the tombstone spookies.

He watched her, and the calm soft smile that appeared upon her face as she spoke to him. The ghoul even gave a few suggestions of which ones to try which made him look over between the cupcakes and the brownies. However, he is leaning towards to the cupcakes in learning how candid she was about how it was the first thing she baked.
Amarus, a name that he would keep into memory as he nods his head, and a Lotus Eater. "No, we haven't . . ." Something that he does need to change and meet more creeple for the only one he knew here at school is Tavi. "I am San, Rakshasa . . . year one, and you really do have an interesting choice." Even her wording of the snack's descriptions as his eyes flicked between the two. ". . . we make our choices, to accept those trouble thoughts, or ignore them . . . watching them become frightful monsters that even frighten monsters . . ." There was a certain look in his eyes, thinking about his troubled mind, of what he felt guilty so many years ago and the thoughts that had him plaguing forever . . . until recently, thanks to someone.
He reached over and grabbed a spookie instead, picking it up and taking a bite of the tombstone spookie. "I never thought tombstones would be good . . ." Stares in wonder of it as he continues to eat it up. "Thank you for your offer." Face your demons Of course! Really cute arts you have here btw~ And yes! I am trying my best * D*

Amarus listened in silence, her mirror-silver eyes cast not at San but at the baked goods as he spoke-- not because she was uncomfortable, but because she was listening. Such maturity for a new student! Amarus smiled softly. "Well-said, young creature. San. I was not so thoughtful when I began my studies, here!" Amarus said, and then laughed at the thought.
"I woke from a painting in the Haunted House, and I had no notion of who I was, who I would be-- I just wanted to fight everyone, it was the only thing that made sense. Not in anger, just in strength, to express who I was. Then I was consumed by a desire for revenge, and now, well... It is as if I have woken up a second time, San. Yuzhi says that when a soul grows, its priorities change. I suspect that is the case." Amarus suddenly realized she'd said a whole lot, and shook her head, bells ringing. She leaned one elbow on her booth, rested her head in the palm of her hand.
"It's true, tombstones seem like a terrible thing! A marker of one's death, who would like that?" Amarus agreed, laughing again. "However, I have come to terms with my death. Whenever and whatever that was," she said, letting her other hand become translucent for a moment to show off her true species. She made it solid again seconds later; she went around mostly solid, as a matter of course. Only her feet started to become a little translucent, and she walked a few inches above the ground. Never floated, though.
"Visit me if you are bored, San, I am glad of the conversation and ... around me, you need not feel trouble quite so poignantly," she advised. It wasn't because she was super good at easing fears the regular way, or that she was so full of herself (except she totally was) but rather that her Lotus Smoke aura had a calming, soothing, sometimes hallucinatory effect.
Miidnight Melody Awwh! Thank you ; u; I did it all myself! The Reflection ghostie in the first banner is a concept species from Piffi Adoptables, though heart I got to draw my own for their anniversary event ; u;

Apparently he said something impressive which made him feel good for sometimes the things he would say or ask will puzzle others. The boil didn't want to think about those awkward moments as he returns back to Amarus who has spoken a lot more than he thought.
San was quiet in learning how she came here, nodding his head along in being thoughtful. It was a bit intimidating on how much that she talked for he's not use to it, well, Tavi had sort of trained him for that being such a furry bundle of energy. However, it was quite interesting of how she had grew overtime from being in complete revenge to now. It made him smile softly. "At least you're capable of expressing. That's . . . something I'm trying . . ." From a giant demon, his voice was always soft spoken and broken sentences; quite the opposite to his appearance. "I think also it's experiencing other things, and learn, things changes . . . but that's just me . . ." The Rakshasa didn't mean to make it as though she was in the wrong about it, or that's what it sounded like now he said it. His voice had trailed off at the end of his sentence as he looked away in trying to do . . . something; he doesn't know what that something is yet.
He chuckled along as well of how funny something terrible is with the tombstone spookies. Before San could finished his spookie, he was entranced by how her hand became translucent for a moment. "Fascinating . . ." It must be quite obvious to her that she is the very first ghost he ever talked to besides the visit of the House Cup he attended to at their dorm.
With the spookie finished, he smiled at her a little more than the normal. His glowing crimson eyes stared down at the wooden booth again. "Sorry . . . I am trying to be better though." He is far too serious for his age, but he is trying to get better in time. "But I will visit, once you're not so busy with the campaign." The ghoul does have her hands full now in seeing the other students around the booth in seeing about the game and taking a few snacks as well. Face your demons I love the cute ghostie so much * D* <3 You did a great job drawing them up
