The carnival was over, but something new seemed to be going on. Shiki looked around curiously wandering from new booth to other new booth. It seemed like they were gearing up for something that the students were going to do. Nothing he could deal with, other than just looking around and getting to see who was in the school that he hadn't met yet, or had met but was too shy to actually see.

The flower booth boil! He remembered that one, the one that was quiet and rather soothing. "H-Hi... The kitsune squirmed a little peering shyly at him. "C-cute.. booth and fish.."

He looked at the items he could use the net to win, and decided to try. ~ploink~

uh... weird sound...

The kitsune looked at the strange white thing peering at him. "Not... not a fish..." Shiki was rather confused but decided to go along with it.. and not eat the poor thing.

Llyr looked positively thrilled to see people arriving at his booth. The kitsune, whom he vaguely recognized from the carnival, was given a beaming smile, Llyr gesturing happily towards the pool of water. "Thank you," he said, sweeping his long hair off of one bare, scaled shoulder. "Please do help yourself to a friend, they are very important, minipets!"

He handed the kitsune a little leash to take their capsule wish home, and then turned at the sounded of another voice. This boil was unfamiliar, but he had pretty blue hair and a pleasant face, and Llyr's smile grew larger as his eyes flickered interestedly towards the little bird that flew around him.

"It is nice to meet you, Yuki," Llyr said, stretching out a hand towards him (because that was what one was supposed to do, was it not, handshakes were supposed to be for introductions, that was what he'd been taught). "Your little friend, is that Kioko? She is very lovely - and you are very nice too," Llyr added, with a glance towards Yuki, eyes bright. "I am glad to see that you are pleased with my booth, I am rather nervous, as this is my first time running, but I do hope to make people happy. Happiness is important," he said seriously.

Llyr shook the boil's hand briefly, then lifted his own to run his fingers through his hair, looking positively delighted that Yuki had accepted one of the flower crowns. The little bird with him was flittering this way and that, and Llyr watched it with interest as it poked and prodded at the garland on his dark head of hair.

"Ah," said Llyr, and reached up a hand to touch the necklace at his own throat, smiling. "I have a beaded necklace as well! It was a gift from my most important friend, and it is very special to me."

He gave a sage nod at these words, as well as the ones offered by Yuki. "That is very true," he said, "We need to have good friends and good pets to keep us happy! If I am to be made president, I would make sure that there are more things to remind us of these bonds we are to make!"

Llyr beamed at Yuki, his cheeks slightly flushed. "I do like people rather a lot," he said honestly, the chains cris-crossed over his chest clinking slightly as he moved. "I only wish to make other people happy, after all, and I feel that if I could be made president, I could do that. But thank you," he added, his expression pleased, "I am glad you think I am doing well."

Upon arriving in this booth, Alpinely beamed brightly in recognition of the boil hosting it and listened to him speak. After thoroughly reading the poster he motioned to, she found herself with a presented selection of flower crowns and picked one with yellow blooms.

Amarus' arrival made Llyr turn, and he gave her a warm, welcoming smile, reaching out to take her hand and squeeze her fingers. "I am glad that you have found the time to come and visit me!" he said with delight before letting go. He swept his hair off of his shoulder again, his expression somewhat sympathetic. "You are quite good to go about everywhere," he told her.

One of the minipets had crawled onto Amarus' shoulder, and Llyr gave it a curious, interested look, stretching out a hand to briefly run his fingers against its soft feathers. He flushed with pleasure and said, "It is important to me that we learn to respect our minipets so that we can live in harmony with them!"

But she was getting ready to leave, and Llyr gave Amarus' fingers another gentle squeeze as she turned to depart. "Thank you for coming to see me," he said happily. "I am most pleased that you stopped by!"


Another ghoul had stopped by, and Llyr vaguely recognized her from one of the carnival booths. He gave her a shy smile, and, encouraged by her taking a flower crown, said with pleasure, "Thank you for stopping by! I do so love your hair!"


The next ghoul to stop by was one he had never seen before, except perhaps at his own carnival booth, and her long, fluffy ears made Llyr quite pleased, and he gazed at them with unabashed curiosity in his expression. He flushed a little with happiness as she tried her hand at the pool, and he reached to gesture at the flower crowns and teeshirts and buttons.

"Thank you for stopping by, you are most welcome to anything you'd like," he said encouragingly. "I do so like your ears, they are quite lovely."

Llyr clapped his hands together in delight. "I would very much like that, yes!" he said, and then, with the air of someone touching something very delicate, he reached out and cautiously and lightly smoothed his fingers over the dark fur on the ghoul's ears. They were very soft and very nice, and when he drew back his hand, Llyr's expression was quite pleased.

"They are very nice!" he said, beaming happily. "Thank you very much for letting me pet them! You are quite a nice ghoul!"

Yuki's gaze went to the other boil's necklace and back to his smiling face again. "I've always had this one," he said with a brief gesture toward his own. "Well, since I arrived here, at least... I'm not sure who gave it to me. A forgotten memento from my life, I suppose." He sounded just slightly downhearted with the last few words, but not terribly so. It was hard to miss a life that you remembered nothing of. "I like to think that it was important to me, and so I usually don't take it off."

"I hope to see you in the position," he said honestly. "Just... Don't give up in that persuit for happiness, even if the elections don't work out. You don't have to have an important social status to make a difference."

He paused a moment, and his smile softened. "Please don't take that the wrong way. I really do hope that you get more than enough votes to win. I just wouldn't want you to think your ideas aren't good enough, if someone else gets the position instead."

Yuki might have been ranting a little too much. Was he? Hm.

Shortly, others were arriving at the booth, and though Yuki lingered he moved out of the way so that Llyr could easily greet new visitors and old friends.

Looking for a new distraction, Kioko flew off of her caretaker's head and over to the little fishing pool set up behind the booth. She landed on the rim and peered with a tilt of her head down into the water and chirped inquisitively.

Yuki chuckled, moving away from where he stood and to the pool as well. "I'm sure there's nothing in there for you to eat, little one. We can try and get you a new friend, though." He reached for one of the small nets, and scooped down into the pool of water...

He laughed when he pulled a familiar mushroom up with the net. "I stand corrected," he said, gingerly plucking the fungi out of the net. "It is something you might be able to eat, after all."
