Smiling as Karei looks at Samhain. "Thank you for the offer. But I am good and I will go on now." Taking a deep breath as he goes on.
"After beating the Dragon the Princess stood in front of him waiting to hear the next task. She needs to pass. She needs the Sacred Lily of Life for her lover. She will do anything for it.
The Dragon looks at her and nods. You won the race. You walked through my flames without getting burnt. Now you must pick one of the three paths before you. He points to the paths. Pick the wrong ones and you will die. Pick the right one and it will take you to the field where the fluttercorns guard the Sacred Lily of Life."
He continues on with the story.
"The first Path's riddle reads What work can one never finish? The answer to this can be many things the Princess thought. She sighs as she goes to read the next riddle to the second path. What does this message say? - G T Y O R J O T E O U I A B G T She looks at the letters as she blinks. Well that isn't helping she thoughts as she trotted to the last path and it's riddle as she reads it to see what it is. As her eyes focus on the last one reading A cloud is my mother, the wind is my father, my son is the cool stream and my daughter is the fruit of the land. A rainbow is my bed, the earth my final resting place and I'm the torment of man. What am I?
After reading the three riddles the Princess then sets her mind to think. Which of the three is the one path she needs. Though her thoughts are saying that these riddles make no sense."

Samhain nodded and waited expectantly for the miniature story-teller to continue, quite enjoying himself; who could have known that one with a bird-hat (feathers, he corrected himself firmly) would be so... so... friendly? And entertaining!
Perhaps his method of judgement was too archaic to be of use... but then, who could say if his next encounter would be so benign? The way to understand was by allowing each individual to prove themselves friend or foe, through their actions, and not merely by the chance of unique appendages.
He waited with wide eyes as the story teller went on, his brow furrowing in completely puzzlement at the riddles. The first... What? The second left him utterly baffled, though he suspected that the message was hidden in the scramble. The third... Rain? RAIN?! "Rain?" he asked, barely able to contain himself in his excitement, then pinned his ears as he hung his head in embarrassment. He hadn't meant to interrupt... "Sorry."

Looking at Samhain as he smiles. "Yes rain is the answer for the last one." No one has never gotten that right before. He smiles more and clears his throat then begins the story again.
""1. An autobiography - Seeing the ending is when you die.. You can't write your death without knowing it. 2. 'Great Job You Got It' 3. Rain""
"The princess thought hard about it. The last one is either a storm or rain. both the same really... Now the first one is the story of one's life or living life.. Or maybe even learning. All in which are not needed for what I want. She looks at the middle path. Looking at the letters again. She only knows how to read these letters because of her Kawani person taught her. Sighing as she is trying to put the letters into an order where they would make sense.
The path I must take is the middle. But I still want to figure out the riddle in case it is a warning. The Dragon is watching her. He lays down as he rolls his eyes. Just go already. The Princess looks back at the Dragon with a smirk. "Oh I will seeing the middle riddle is 'Great Job You Got It' So later Dragon. This was fun. We should play again another time. She giggles as she heads done the middle path."
"The Dragon watched the Princess fade down the path. This was the happy ending he had a feeling that she would find. He then heads back to his home there is nothing left for him to do here. While the Dragon went home. The Princess is taking the middle path as she sees an opening. It seemed to be glowing. She then steps into a field of glowing icy blue lilies. In the middle of the field is her lover alive and well. He was looking at her. As she got closer to him the Lilies started to fade away disappearing into nothingness.
Her lover nuzzles her as she looks behind her. The Fluttercorns bowed to her and then left. This was real. She had her lover back. Soon The Prince and The Princess left and went back to their kingdom to live happily ever after."
He stretches as he tilts his head to the side. "The End of that story. I am not sure if I should add an after story about it. Like a what happens after the Prince and Princess return home and their offspring. But I am always looking for more ideas to become new stories."
Waiting on Samhain to tell him the ideas he has on the story. Maybe they can help him fix up the story and maybe create more stories.
