Ignatius yanked down the sheets that had been covering his booth, revealing the set-up he had underneath. Then, he turned his attentions to the nearby speakers, hooked up to a music player, which he quickly turned on to let the music play.
It really was overly stereotypical carnival music, wasn't it...
"Alright, that should do it." Ignatius grinned, placing himself in the middle of the booth. He shook his hands out, smoothed out his hair..
And waited.

This is something different - the interest was what got him to double back and read the booth again. Listening to the booth runner go through the instructions, Uru stripped his gloves off and held onto the two probes without little hesitations. The booth runner turned the knob. There it was... that slight tingle, it was a sharp sensation for the briefest of moments but it was more of a fuzzy feeling at this point like something with groves was running across his palm. His first customer won? So well at that? Perhaps Ignatius needed to up the ante a bit, as it were. For now, though, he let out a few traditional whoops to show that he was fairly impressed.
"Congratulations! You may have this ticket here," Ignatius yanked it off the strip and handed it off to the hellhound boil, "as well as this little minipet! Take good care of him now!"

That may have been coming from a lightning elemental that wasn't even affected by the game he was running, but he seemed earnest enough... Not that he'd really know the difference.
But the carnival runners wouldn't let him hold anything that dangerous anyway... Certainly!

An electroshock booth? Anna had never seen one of those before. She approached a booth that she hadn't tackled yesterday pulling herself towards the game. She followed the instructions and biting her lip wondered if this was a good idea.
Bad idea.... Definitely a bad idea! she pulls back her hands with a jolt and sucks on her throbbing digits. She gets up and leaves the booth quickly.

Oooooooooooooooh, shiny metal bar things...
Common sense would have told her electricity and metal usually meant dangerous, but Mayaa was oblivious to danger. Everything was just fun and games to her!
So grab those bars she did.
And regretted NOTHING.
... her left hand was the first to go, and her right hung on a bit longer, but afterwards, it started to sting and she let go.

Sludge was amazed at just how simple the rules were. Hold onto rod for as long as possible. This was something he could do with ease!
Except, he didn't realize that the rods would be shocking him. Gritting his teeth, he held on for as long as possible before letting go, shaking his claws to make the pain go away.

Shiki must have been feeling rather dazed because he didn't even think too much as he walked to the new booth. So many weird things and the kitsune just found himself going along with it. Still he didn't make any eye contact as he grabbed the funny bars. Before he could ask in a whispered voice what it was... it was on.
With almost a shriek of agony Shiki dropped both of the bars and ran away, tears in his eyes. What the heck was going on in that booth? That boil was just torturing him.

After the first easy win, it seemed that almost no one else was having any success. There was one boil, a drippy demon or something like that, that seemed to tolerate the increasing shocks long enough for a prize, but before Ignatius could hand him the ticket, he had ran off. Huh.
Well, alright then.
Ignatius kept the ticket out in case someone else would need it, though none of the next ones did. There was a small grin of victory at the minor ouchies, with a chime of, "Come back later to give it another try!" though even he winced when the one boil yelped and ran away.
Maybe that kid should wear gloves.poke mattix Confirming the choice to not claim a ticket!

She had told him to let Ignatius know he had returned and Bren had really meant to do that, but time had slipped away from him, weeks had passed, and now he found himself shuffling awkwardly in front of the ghost's booth, debating whether or not it was strictly necessary to electrocute himself before letting the boil know he was all right.
The number of people jumping, squeaking, and running off only served to strengthen his misgivings, but eventually he did approach, holding his breath as he reached for the elemental's... poles. Ha. Ha.
Bren grit his teeth at the electricity's bite, but he managed to hang on, only slightly alarmed at the sensation of his hair trying to stand on end. He looked over at Ignatius, eyes wide.

Nova blushed at the wink. "Ah, okay it's endurance and not physical work." He grabbed the metal hand grips.
Ow, right at the end Nova pulled one hand away, though the other almost didn't feel like it had as much power going through it. Maybe it was just him.
