Capek squint at the upturned underside of his own forearms. Tanned from the sun, but still comparitively pale from the rest of his skin, he had to squint slightly to keep the sun from reflecting off the pale skin and water into his eyes. Unconsciously, he itched his wrist where a bit of clay still clung. He exhaled heavily. It had been a long morning. Maybe a bit of tempura would make things all better; or sweet potatoes. Mmm.
Capek's ear twitched sharply, swiveling minutely to the right. Someone was watching him. He could pratically feel it, eyes digging into the back of his neck, causing his hackles to rise and his shoulders to hunch slightly. Uncertainly, he tucked his wings tighter on his back. Maybe if he looked smaller... -- warily, the bright haired Gehaka cast a careful glance up and down the street. Where...?
Ah, there. His eyes narrowed briefly on the Haka, and Capek drew instinctually back into the shadow of the shop's eaves.

"We could look for him, I would help you Hotaru-san..." he added the honro-ific, already feeling as if he was looking up to this Gehaka. "It shouldn't be too hard to find him." Sada bit his lower lip, already looking up and around the crowd. Haka were rare compared to Gehaka, and it seemed that Hotaru came from at least a decent house hold, a Haka of similar station would be easier to find.

Shinku green eyes narrowed, unpleased when the Gehaka shrank back. Was he really that scary? He wished for a moment Sei was with him, instead of the Gehaka his mother assign to him in an attempt to keep him from his radical behaviors.
The sandy hair Haka entered the shop; his eyes lingured over the wears taking in the art work, before he spoke, "Someone attend me."
Shinku stood straighter, and his eyes drilled though the shadow of the eaves where the Gehaka had disappeared to. He was getting a bit impatient; his small dainty feet tapping. Why did they have to treat him like a plague?

Tsukiko stopped and pressed his face against a window of a store, looking eagerly at the display. the haka could do this all day.
A voice interrupted this wonderful moment for tsukiko. "Tsukiko-sama?" Kratos said.
"what is it Kratos?" The haka asked
"it's just that we've been window shopping all day and...nevermind" The gehaka said in a low voice.
Tsukiko shrugged and turned his atention back to the lovely window display as the gehaka sighed.

Heat pooled from the dusty beams of the sun, making it quite uncomfortable for the unfortunate Gehaka. They worked tirelessly, never saying a word or raising a fuss when they receieved an order to do something. And Kohaku Hachrio was no different on this fine day. A tall, lanky figure exited one of the nearby stores, a sleek wooden pole pressed against the back of his neck. Two large baskets hung on either side of him, supported by the pole that was resting upon his broad shoulders. Creamy muscles flexed, and his large wings strained slightly from the massive load. Gleaming black hair was pulled neatly back, occasionally swaying as the Gehaka silently began to move down the road.
Hachiro's mother worked at a silk store, but in order to make the fine material, silk worms were needed...so that was what Hachiro was carrying in those heavy baskets--millions of the white, caccooned grubs. His mother had made him a pair of shorts from the stuff, and the white material still retained its soft quality as it brushed against his legs. As Hachiro's thoughts were focused upon returning home, a sudden, sharp crack made his long ears twitch. As he slowly, unhappily turned his head to look at the basket, spotting the crack almost immediately. Knees bent, and the tall Gehaka lowered the two baskets carefully to the ground, straightening up uncertainly.
What a horrible stroke of luck...if he continued on, the baskets would surely break and his mother would be most displeased...but he couldn't just sit here either. A low sigh pushed past his lips, and Hachiro brushed a wayward strand of hair out of his eyes.
Of all the rotten luck.

THe brown-haired Gehaka turned his head at hearing a cracking sound. There he spotted Hachiro. Kratos looked at Tsukiko, the haka will be to occupied to notice his absence so he walked over to the other gehaka. He looed at the crack on the bucket. "do you need some asitance?" Kratos asked the other.

Kageki smile. "Thank you. He should not be to hard to find," he said, wincing inwardily. He wasn't to pleased about meeting his cousin again. Shinku had some drastically different view then most Haka. "Lets get going then Sada." He stepped into the crowd, carefully watching where he placed his feet. Getting in trouble was not on his things to do today.

Capek cursed under his breath, eyeing the Haka as he crossed the street and headed toward the shop. He should have closed the door. Mother was probably in the back of the shop trying to teach his nitwit of a little brother how to properly cut the clay. Capeku didn't understand how the younger Gehaka hadn't grasped the ideal yet, but... -- the family generally hoped that he was married off quickly to a more suitable proffession. He was more of a hindrance than a help in the shop.
So that left him, standing like a fool in the shadow of the shop as the Haka moved inside. His stomach growled, offering a complaining pang of hunger. He ignored it, preferring to don a cheerful smile, sweeping out into the open of the shop.
His mother had a deft hand with the clay; fine ceramic figurines, plates, and cups were a few of the items displayed on the shop's shelves. Capek kept his wings folded tightly, lest he accidentally brush a shelf with the end of one.
"Good afternoon sir, how may I be of service?" He offered the Haka a quick, appropriate bow, straightening only slightly. Capek self-consciously kept his arms folded behind his back.

Enju had finished emptying and cleaning the vases and placed them on a table in front of the shop to dry, the fresh flowers gleaming with water droplets. He shook his head and fixed his kimono, letting it hang loosely from his shoulders, starting to feel a bit of heat. He wrinkled his nose at the sudden cracking sound and eyed the the Gehaka with the cracked basket.
He made a step towards him but another Gehaka made his way their first, so he inwardly shrugged and walked in front of the shop, fixing up the flower arrangements and rustling his wings as he worked, keeping an ear cocked to see if they ended up needing anymore help.

Sada nodded, and struck out as well, just slightly off from the other Gehaka. His blue eyes scanned the crowd quickly. A haka with brown hair and a green kimino. Shouldn't be hard at all, right? He kept scanning the crowd, a hand reaching up to rub the scrape on his strong chin. It was still stinging.
Sada passed shops, peering into each of them in turn. Suddenly he caught the look of sandy brown hair, long and lovely, and a green kimino. It took all Sada had to shout to the other.
"Hotaru-san! Over here! He's over here." Even as he shouted, the blue eyes wrenched away from the Haka, and hit the ground. The blush on his face was large, and as soon as the gehaka was done speaking, he was biting his lip again.

A voice reached his ears, soft and quiet while Hachiro could only be relieved that it was only another Gehaka. He did respect the Haka, seeing as his mother was one, but...he had seen the way that some had treated their Gehaka in public, and a general sense of unease accompanied his thoughts whenever they drifted to the 'females' of their society. Turning slightly, the tall male looked a bit embarassed as he nodded quietly.
"I do...I will not be able to carry these safely by myself." A half-smile drew up the corners of his lips, and the Gehaka tipped his head in a slight bow. "My mother's shop is not far, and I would be very grateful if you could help me get there...." Stepping towards his burden, Hachiro kneeled to unfasten both buckets, hoisting the cracked one and the pole into his strong arms. Then, he waited patiently--if the other decided not to help, then that would be fine...Hachiro would simply need to be quick to make sure that the bucket didn't just 'disappear' in his absence.

Twirling the stem of his parasol, Tohru blinked a bit as he watched the scene unfolding infront of him as the baskets were placed down. A couple of Gehaka mulling about to fix them. He vaguely wondered what was in them. He glanced to the side, looking at the store as his Mothers Gehaka purchased the large boxes of ink and paper they would be needing for his mothers shop. Tohru was not rixh, but he was not poor either, they were moderately well off. His parasol was a light spring green, as well as his kimono.
His red hair was done up in a pair of buns, and he was perhaps not finely adorned with jewelry of other Haka, but his Kimono was rather nice, a deep emerald green with golden embroidery, which to most Gehaka made up for the lack of jewelry, and they easily mistook his real status.
Sparing another glance at the store, noticing the Gehaka doing something or other, tying boxes together and whatnot, he sighed and headed over to the pair of Gehaka with the baskets, not saying anything, but his shadow- with the parasol open and above him- loomed over them, watching them in silence. He didn't wear a stern look, but Haka didn't naturally look pleased, either.

((I have to go now, bye))Kratos smiled faintly at the other. "I'll be glad to help then" He said to the other. It is the right thing to do, to help another after all and it wouldn't hurt the gehaka so much to lend a hand to the other in need.
"just tell me what you need me to carry. My name's Kratos. Kratos Hashiba and you?" He asked, looking at the other.

Hachiro felt another rush of gratitude towards the other Gehaka, gesturing to the other basket beside him. But just as he had been about to speak his name, the dark-haired Gehaka caught sight of Tohru. Feeling unease spread through his veins once more, the tall male said nothing, lowering his head submissively in the other's presance. His head was inclined, waist bending as Hachiro performed a formal bow. He had very few encounters with Haka, but he knew just how respectul one needed to be. His mother had taught him that Haka were above him, and he must never speak aloud to them unless he was directedly addressed.
The Gehaka straightened then, keeping his aqua eyes fixed silently on the ground as he waited for the other to either move on or speak to him. It certainly wouldn't be the latter of the two; he had nothing that would attract the interest of the Haka...but he couldn't turn his attention back to Kratos; that would be rude.

Shinku ears twiched in contained anger. His green eyes fixed on the Gehaka as he sweeped, finally, out into the open. The orbs ran from the Gehaka face and down to his toes. His glaze flickered back up as the other spoke. Fake bright smile, appropriate if quick bow, always the same.
He looked away, his eyes trailing over the ceramic figurines and other wares. "Could you show me a few sets of cups?" He finally said, motioning to them with his right hand.
Browsing would past the time till his curfew came into affect. His small teeth pressed against his lower lip. He was probably the only one with a curfew.
His ears flickered up. Hotaru? No, it couldn't be his cousin. Please, god don't let it be my cousin. He prayed silently refusing to turn around and find out. "You can relax." He added. Hotaru's ears flickered barely catching Sada shout. He walked slowly to the other, carefully making his way though the crowd. He wished the other hadn't shouted his name. "Where?" He questioned finally making his way over.
He stopped looking into the shop. That was Shinku alright, the long sandy brown hair, green kimino over such a dainty slim frame. "I see him." His voice held confused. What was his cousin doing at a potter? Shinku had never shown any intrested in ceramics before.
