well i dont buy gold gentators but a friend of mine did give me some stuff as gifts that they thought woukld look nice on me

Hi there! Item gifts are totally fine. The issue is not with Gaia Cash. It's gold generators that are the problem.Miyuki Satonaka well i dont buy gold gentators but a friend of mine did give me some stuff as gifts that they thought woukld look nice on me

I made my gold by getting gifts and saving what I got in them, saving gold, buying the things I want with that gold, and once again saving the items that I bought with that gold until they were in the gold range I liked enough to make a profit off of! Not this lazy a** way with generators! Plus, I don't buy Gaia cash! I don't have the money for it and if I do, I can't find any Gaia Cash Cards in my area anyways. I've tried my local Walmarts and Targets. They don't carry them for some odd reason. They used to. I'd use them to buy awesome items if I found them. x'D

I'm a new Gaian, and I'm not even sure if I'll end up staying here based on how Gaia's higher-ups are acting. When I heard about what was going on, I even considered buying some Gaia Cash (despite not knowing what I'd spend it on) just to show some support for their decision to remove the gold generators, but they didn't stick to that long enough for me to even get the chance. =/
I hope Gaia gets the message before everyone gets fed up and leaves. x.x

I for one am 100% behind this, I've been tired of Gold Gen's since even the first Mythril Coins years back, it's a horrible mechanic that will in time destroy the site that I've loved for years.

Thanks, everyone! All updated.
I also added a section on post 4 on resources for those who may be suffering from a gambling addiction. Unfortunately, many of those who buy gold generators more than likely feel the psychological impulse to keep doing so because they get a "high" from seeing their gold count go up, almost like someone who does drugs to get that high.

Gold generators are deterring new members, particularly those who can't get gaia cash.
I turn the idea in my head over and over and I just can't see how Gold Generators could ever be a good idea burning_eyes
