A senshi who felt like her and this unknown Columba? Syrma had to mean chibi, but Cruithne liked her all the better for not saying it. It was such a stupid, overly cute sounding word. She relaxed a little bit more and managed a tiny smile.
"I w-would like to meet him s-someday," she answered truthfully. "The only p-people I've met have b-been Dark Mirrors. They w-were nice."
She wasn't entirely sure what Syrma would say or think about the Dark Mirror senshi and she preferred to remain cautious. The last thing she wanted was to completely alienate the first potential senshi friend she'd managed to encounter.Ryuthulhu I am so sorry for taking so long!

"I haven't met them..." It was a strange sounding name though. Dark Mirrors. Had she heard them mentioned before? She was having trouble remembering, but she'd look into it. "What are they all about? That's a really weird thing to call themselves, sounds like some kind of band you'd find Albums for at Hot Topic." She held up her hands as though she were envisioning a poster or CD. "Dark Mirrors: Suffering and Deep Void, the Live Tour." That was probably mean but dude, it really did sound strange. "What are they all about? Are they like... senshi with mirror powers? Reflection? Um. What else do you do with mirrors... "

"T-they can walk through m-mirrors," Cruithne answered softly. Somehow, it didn't feel right to tell Syrma, nice as she was, about what she'd been told about them wanting to go to space. So instead, she focused on the harmless details.
"They a-all wear black and they have t-these filmy bits," she explained, trying to sketch the overlays' general placement with her hands. "They have a P-princess too."
Did her side have Princesses? She honestly didn't know. How odd, she thought, that encounters with her own side had been so non-existant to this point, but she just kept running into Dark Mirrors.

"Well that's cool I guess?" Syrma wasn't sure what to make of the whole princess thing. You read about really cool ones online with things like "Rejected Princessess", but then you had the mainstream idea of them which was mostly Aurora and Belle and the romantic joys of being locked up with a giant grumpy monster dude or awakened by someone kissing you, which was kinda gross. Fairy Tales were weird. "I haven't seen one, but I'll keep my eyes out I guess. But then I haven't seen a lot of people. Mostly Columba and a couple cats, and there was a lady before I powered up who looked kinda like Xena with Red Hair but... yeah I haven't met too many people."

"I t-think you've met m-more than I have," Cruithne said softly with a hint of a smile. At least Syrma had access to some cats. Granted, by her own admission, at least one was kind of a useless cat, but still. She was somewhat curious about the red-haired Xena, but clearly there wasn't a whole lot of information happening there.
Sighing quietly, she wondered why it was so hard to get a better idea of what they were supposed to do. Go forth and fight wasn't all that helpful.
"S-someone out there has to know all t-the answers, d-don't they?" she asked, half plainitively, half in exasperation with the situation that kids like she and Syrma were stuck in.

"I wish I knew." Syrma sighed heavily, and yanked on the ears to her hood to make them turn down more in demonstration. "I mean... this cat... Ash... said a lot of us are like... reincarnated... and I thought it sounded like a freaky cult thing... did I say that already? I dunno. I mean... I thought it sounded freakydeaky but I guess it's real...and the memories don't come back with it... and that kinda sucks. It means probably everyone is in about the same boat. Or if someone knows more they aren't exactly looking for the rest of us to tell us." She sighed and let go of the details on her hood. "Your Dark Mirror Band Camp didn't know anything either huh?"

"I... I think t-that most reincarnations c-can't remember anything without a l-lot of work. Otherwise, y-you'd be stuck as a baby k-knowing everything you'd d-done before. Doesn't s-sound much fun that way," Cruithne replied with a tiny nod. The idea of reincarnation wasn't all that troubling to her since there were a lot of people who believed in it and wrote about it. If anything, it was kind of comforting to know that those people were, without realizing it, right.
And though she wasn't quite sure what band camp had to do with anything, she shook her head a bit and shrugged.
"If t-they knew, I'm s-sure that they would h-have said something."
She shrugged again and glanced around quickly, trying to figure out something, anything else to say. This was certainly the longest that she'd managed to hold a conversation with a peer and it was a little disconcerting.

" This isn't much fun, sometimes." Syrma sighed in protest. "I'm tired of everyone acting like I'm a baby. I'm tired of not knowing things... But I guess we're all in the same boat right?" There was that anyway. "If I find out anything I'll let you know, huh?" She thought about asking to meet these 'dark mirror' types but wasn't sure if that was pushing it.

Nodding sympathetically, Cruithne understood that one all too well. Not knowing was definitely on the Low Fun side of things. But it was what it was.
"T-they'll have to l-listen and trust us sometime," she instead said as soothingly as she could. Venturing a smile, she held out a hand to the other girl. "I-i'm glad I met y-you, Syrma."
She was too, she realized with a tiny shock. Sure, she was still stuttering and fidgety, but the desire she had to run away faded the longer she talked to the other Chibi. Okay. Point for magical terrorism then.
"I-if I find out anything about s-space, I'll tell you too. I-i tend to stick close to t-the greenhouse in the P-park most nights."
Sweet, holy Lady! She'd just volunteered information to someone else! Maybe... maybe this senshi thing wasn't so bad if it got her to not be so scared all the time?Ryuthulhu Shall we call this a wrap? ♥

"Sounds great!" Syrma flashed a genuine smile, bright and wide and comically pseudo predatory with her wolf hood, like something out of a children's book. "I'll see about bringing the hairless house elf by sometime. I will attempt to disarm him of his collection first. Can't promise anything about his horrible taste in clothing though. I'm pretty sure you can get radiation poisoning standing too close to his sweaters."

Startled into a hiccuping giggle at Syrma's description of her cat, Cruithne smiled and gave a nod.
"I t-think my eyes and w-white cell count will s-survive somehow," she replied in a soft, dry voice. Then, with a tiny wave, she bobbed a curtsy and stood there for a moment before turning to dash in the direction of home.
"I-i'll see you t-then!" she called back. "D-don't forget!"Ryuthulhu Woot! Annnnd fin! Thanks!
