Ash gave her new senshi a reassuring smile before she jumped down. As her feet left the metal, the guardian rushed to the edge and crouched down to look over the side.
Part of her felt bad... The child seemed so shy and gentle. She was a senshi now though, she would have to learn how to be strong enough to fight off monsters like these. There would not always be someone around to protect her.
"You can do it!" She cheered, her tail waving. "Kick its butt!"

Halley landed square on the youma's back managing to catch it while still distracted from the trap causing it to yelp but that was about the extend of it because she didn't jump fast enough away.
The youma bucked and threw her off, causing Halley to slam back first into the nearest wall. Knocking her breath, the sailor looked bewildered while trying to catch her breath watching the monster come after her. When it lunged she moved to the side narrowly missing the claws, as a few strands of hair got caught and chopped off. "ACK!"
She aimed a kick towards it's stomach while it was up on it's hind legs having dug it's claws into the brick building. Afterwards trying to scramble away. "Kittyyy now what!?" She frowned, how was she suppose to know if she beat it? Would it run away or something else happen? As she struggled to gain a strong stance for trying to beat the s**t out of the monster. It'd help if she had some sort of weapon, a two by four or something? She was also trying not to think about the fact she was a little sore from being slammed into the wall.

Ash bounced where she perched on the fire escape, her tail an excited bottle brush.
"That's it, you can do it!" She cheered. "Keep hitting it!"
There was little more she could do, really. It was one of the frustrating parts of being a guardian 1/4th the size of a senshi. You were so much weaker and more vulnerable than they were, there wasn't much you could do to really help them in their fight. She could support them with her technology, offer them advice... but when it came down to fist-swinging... she was at a loss.
Still, the girl seemed to be doing okay. The more she hit the youma, the more uncoordinated it became, more sluggish. Finally, with a wail of anger, it collapsed under her, exploding into a cloud of dust. Ash cheered again from her perch, darting to the ladder to scramble awkwardly down it.
"Good job, Darling!" She chirped as she padded over to rub against her new senshi. "You did so well. I'm very proud of you!"

Halley beamed as one last punch caused it to brust into a cloud of dust. She was coughing as she looked around and shook out her hair and fuku. "Well that was new." She opened and closed her hand, that would probably be slightly bruised tomorrow.
"So.... does this happen a lot?" She asked looking a little concerned, "Is this something I have to constantly do?"

Rocking back onto her haunches, Ash gently pawed at her senshi's leg, begging a cat way to be picked up.
"It does happen a lot, Darling, I'm sorry. Those nasty creatures have a bad habit of popping up all over the city. They're relatively easy to beat though, if you're careful. Not like the Negaverse agents that command them. Oh, my, I have so much to explain to you." Ash said with a sigh. It would be a while before she was ready to part ways with her new senshi. The basics needed to be gone over and ways to keep oneself safe and alive. There was the phone too, and contacts to go with it of people who could help Halley out.
"Could we go somewhere and talk for a while, Darling? I really do have a good many things to tell you about being a senshi, and it would be safer if we could do it inside."

Halley picked up the cat as she was begging to be picked up. She gave a small wary smile at the cat said it happened, "Well great to know there's more to worry about now than axe murders and chainsaw crazies. I thought I was going to run out of things to worry about."
Halley was joking as she walked looking at the cat with blue eyes when she said she had soo much to explain and it would be best done inside. "Uh... well... I guess we could go to my house? I'm not sure how the house keep will feel about a cat though."
Halley'd tried to let her parents have animals a few times. "So we'll have to sneak you into the house. Unless you have a better option?"

"Look at it this way..." Ash said as she bumped her head against the girl, rubbing her with her cheeks. "You have less to worry about from 'normal' violent crime. I'd like to see a crazy try to take on your magic and senshi strength."
The guardian tapped her nose with a paw as she winked. "Don't worry, your housekeeper won't even know I'm there. I'm no ordinary cat, after all. It'll be safest for you at home, and probably the most comfortable."
"Don't worry, Darling." Ash repeated as she cuddled against her. "I'll take care of you."

Halley smiled when Ash put that thought into her head, "Oh well, that's good to know. At least despite the monsters this also helps make me safer."
She nodded when the cat said the housekeep wouldn't even know she was there. "Okay! Lets go to my house then~"
She gave Ash a light squeeze in appreciation, "Thank you."
