Junjie gave a smile, "I am glad to hear that they have at least gone for a time. It will give us plenty of time to prepare for whatever it is that they are planning next. Not to mention recover from the damage that they had done." There would be so much that they would need to do from here on out to make up for what the Mara had done, what they had destroyed. They would recover and be stronger for it and in the time between now and when they came back he would have to make sure that not Keona was prepared as well, not wanting her to be completely vulnerable to those beasts. Giving a soft chuckle Junjie said, "Just Junjie is fine, Mister Moana makes me feel old and I am not quite that old yet." He gave Raemos a little wink before stretching out once more. Phew, sleeping on the ground was never good for anyone he thought to himself, especially sleeping so long. There were so many things that he would give most anything for at the moment, the first being breakfast and after that a shower or bath. He'd ask Raemos if there was anywhere in town to procure such a thing but for the moment food was the most important. At Raemos's mention of checking on his family Junjie gave pause, glancing in the direction of Serenia, and said, "I am glad to hear that your sister is well. I will need to check on my mother soon, I do hope that everything is alright with her." It would take some work to get to Serenia, from what he'd heard a lot of boats had been taken, damaged, or destroyed by the Mara, but he'd figure out how to get there. Everything he was thinking about was suddenly thrown out the window though as Raemos asked for a check up, mentioning that he wanted to make sure that he hadn't seriously injured himself. Blinking a couple times he stepped in closer to him, a look of concern on his face, before he said, "Of course, is there somewhere that we can go for that? It would probably be best if you were to lay down and I wouldn't want you to lay on the ground if you are injured." Now that he knew there was someone in need of his help he felt breakfast could wait for at least a little longer. Glancing over at Abellio the Ysali nodded, knowing exactly what Junjie was going to request of him, "Arjan and I can look after Keona, maybe check in with the rest of the hunting party, while you check him over." He offered, glancing at Arjan who gave a slow, reluctant nod. The Kiandri pinned Raemos with a look, as though to warn him to be nice to Junjie, before turning to catch hold of Keona by the back of her shirt, lifting her up to drop her off on Abellio's back, "You stay there." He told her in a firm voice, not wanting to admit that he liked her well enough or anything. He'd rather look more like a hard a** so that she would listen to him since everyone knew that Abellio was a big softy when it came to Keona, as well as Junjie. Keona clapped her hands and said, "It sounds good to me! I want to find Bi and show him the staff I got!" She was more then eager to show off her prize to her best friend while her daddy worked to make Raemos better like he worked at making everyone better! He was amazing like that! Giving a wave the little girl, and the two Khehora, trotted off leaving Junjie and Raemos alone so that they could tend with the Oblivionite man's wounds.

Junjie, then... it felt somewhat disrespectful to call him by his given name. The man was powerful, and had done so much... to simply call him Junjie made him seem... trivial. More disrespectful, though, would be to ignore his request, and Raemos would at least try. “Yes... Junjie.” he said, correcting himself quickly. “Understood.” He didn't know if he was injured but... the pains. He knew, also, that if he waited, he never would ask. “I apologize for delaying your breakfast, but...” he hesitated, looking around, “I think that is a free room, there, and it appears to have some sort of...” bed-like surface “A bench of a kind.” Once they were alone, Raemos moved towards the bench. The room was clearly a storage space for the items that had had to be cleared out of the tents to make room for the people. He undid his uniform, revealing his stomach. “I've been having... pains.” he admitted, touching the horizontal scar along his belly. It was freshly healed, the scar tissue barely formed. “I was only just cleared for active duty when the siege hit. I just want to make sure that...” he hesitated. Already, he was regretting mentioning it at all, “It's... probably nothing.” he said, making to close the uniform. He didn't want to waste the healer's time...

Junjie gave Raemos a smile and a shake of his head, "Breakfast can wait, the health of those around me is far more important." He figured that the food would be there later so why make someone who needed help now wait? As Raemos pointed out the room that was free he gave a nod, "A bench should work well enough." He said, following along after the Oblivionite to the room, stepping inside so that he could get a good look around. Once he had a feel for what they were working with he nodded his head. This should work well enough he though tto himself. Shrugging out of his cloak Junjie shook it off before he set to folding it up, putting it on th bench so that Raemos could use it as a pillow. Turning to look over at his patient he watched as he revealed his stomach, as well as the wound that he had there. He studied it closely for a moment, making a bit of a face when he was told that he had been cleared for duty despite the wound, "They should have either kept you off duty or saw to it that you met with a better healer." He murmured, not liking the fact that he had been fighting with a wound like that one. It must hurt he thought to himself, his eyes showing concern. "Hm? Nothing?" Setting his dragon headed staff aside he stepped forward so that he could catch hold of his patient's wrists, "Raemos, lay down and let me tend to your wound. It's not nothing, especially if it's causing pain. Pain is the body's way of telling you that something isn't right." He told him, trying not to sound as though he were scolding him but it was difficult to do given that Raemos was trying to write off his wound as being nothing. It was surely something and as such Junjie meant to tend to him and his injury if the young man would allow him to do so.

“It was the seige... they needed every hand.” he protested. His wrists held, he stopped closing up his uniform. He was certain, still that he was wasting Junjie's precious time, but after growing up with a sister and a mother who did not take no for an answer, he sat back and reluctantly let the healer do whatever he was going to do. “The wound was caused by a diamond Mara.”

"Even so it was a great risk that you took." Junjie said, giving a sighing sound. Even if the young man had felt that they needed everyone that they could get to fight with the Mara he didn't feel that it was good for him to risk himself in such a manner. At the same time he supposed that he shouldn't scold Raemos too much or else he might leave him feeling dejected. It was the last thing he wanted to do so he then added, "I understand why you did what you did but please, be more careful in the future, your life is a precious thing, Raemos." Once Raemos laid back he leaned in to get a better look at his wound, moving a hand to brush the tips of his fingers lightly against the fresh scar tissue. It looked as though it had been a painful wound, one caused by one of the more powerful Mara. Giving him a smile he said, "I should be able to ease your issues." He said as he came to settle down on the edge of the bench that Raemos was laying on, gathering green energy into his hands as he let them hover over his midsection. Lifting his gaze for a moment to glance at Raemos's face he said, "This might tingle a little but I just ask that you try to relax, alright?" He gave him a reassuring smile before he turned back to the wound and set to casting a healing spell. The green Ysali energy swirling around his hands first before the power was slowly fed into Raemos's body. He wanted to make sure that he was able to help him, to ease any pain that he still felt, and make it so that he could move more easily as well. There was nothing worse then feeling the tug of a wound when you were trying to move, especially during battle. That Raemos could fight with such a wound, it was actually quite impressive. He just wouldn't say as much, not wanting to praise him for something that he didn't agree with.

Arguing that his life – as a freak - really wasn't that precious would get him nowhere, Raemos knew. And, as he thought about it, it would be horribly insensitive to say such a thing in front of a hybrid... gods knew that they suffered greatly. So, he remained quiet as the fingers brushed the heat of the scar. It had been a painful wound, and if his father hadn't gotten to him as quickly as he had, it would have killed Raemos. Just a little bit of time had made all the difference... it was a sobering thought. He tensed as the magic teased out a sensation he could not describe: it resembled pain, but was more like the sensation that one got when one's foot woke up – a numb sort of unpleasant tingling that made him want to twitch and cringe. But Raemos had been told to relax and try not to move too much, so he forced himself to hold onto the chair as the feeling intensified. It felt like his insides were churning and moving at the healer's touch, and he hoped that was a good thing. He bit his lip, a hiss of breath coming out as he struggled to maintain his composure. He had to be a good soldier. He had to take his healing like a man...

Junjie glanced up toward Raemos's face for a moment as he worked, giving him the best smile he could, "You're doing very well, Raemos, just try to hold out for me, alright?" He said in a soothing tone. It seemed as though the sensation of magical healing was getting to the other man a little bit. It was something that he felt bad for, not meaning to make him so uncomfortable, but there was nothing he could do about it at the moment. He had to tend to the wound, help him to get better and back on his feet, "If you make it through the healing session I will give you a prize in return, anything you'd like... well, that we can get here in Tukyere at least. Anything located outside of this place might take me a little longer to get my hands on." Giving a soft chuckle he returned his attention once more fully to Raemos's wound. He could tell by the look of the scar, which had once been an angry red, that his spell was helping, "I fear I won't be able to heal you to pristine condition, but the scar was already a scar when I got to it." He explained, the scar was already turning a more healthy color, and it might even fade with time, but it wouldn't really be perfect, Junjie wasn't as powerful as all of that. Raemos might very well be stuck with a scar but he then said, "From what I gather women supposed dig scars, it makes a man look tough. That's what I hear at least." He wasn't really into women personally so he couldn't say one way or another if that were an accurate statement or not. He supposed that Raemos would figure it out when he found himself a nice girl, provided of choice he was looking for one. "Alright, just a little longer and we should be all done." He told him, giving a smile, "You're doing very well. I am quite impressed." Given the severity of the wound it must feel odd to feel his flesh rearranging itself like it was. Raemos was doing so well though, he was quite a strong patient, something that Junjie was glad to see. One had to be tough in this world that they lived in, something he knew from personal experience. Giving a nod Junjie let the magic fade away, his wings giving a flap as he did so, "All done, how do you feel?"

A prize? Raemos wasn't holding out against the discomfort of being healed for a prize. Such a thing insulted his pride and honor as a soldier and... And... Oh all right. he thought. “I am sure.” he said, gritting his teeth, “I shall think of something.” He looked down, relieved that he didn't have to see the movement that surely was occurring inside of him in response to the healer's magics. Instead, there was a scar. “That is fine. I'm glad to have a reminder to be careful of my opponents...” And not attempt to break the hardest stone imaginable by yourselfHe surveyed the scar as Junjie's hands left him, running a finger experimentally along the sharp crease of it. No pain. “I feel...” he assessed the rest of himself, “Fine. Good. Thank you.” he redid the buttons of his uniform, cloaking his blue skin from view. “And yourself?” he asked, remembering how magic worked, “How are you feeling? You are just rested from a major working, and yet you just healed me.” and goddess knew what that had entailed, “Are you all right?”

Junjie gave a happy sort of smile, seeming to be quite pleased to hear that Raemos was doing well after the healing. He was glad, the last thing that he wanted was for his attempts at healng to be unable to aid those around him. His kind might not be the most welcome in some places but that wouldn't stop him from using the powers he had to heal those who were in need, "I am glad to hear that, if you ever need anything else in the way of healing feel free to come to me so long if I am around." He offered the younger man, stepping back to give him room to get himself redressed. As Raemos asked how he was he gave a nod, "Much better after some rest. It's much easier to heal one person in a concentrated manner then it is to blanket heal a lot of people. It allows me to focus on wounds a lot easier as well, to make sure they are tended to correctly instead." He told him, "I used a bit too much of my magical energy during the battle, something I wasn't quite prepared for. I haven't been a part of such large scale battles before now. Next time, if there is a next time, I feel I will be better prepared for it. I do thank you for asking though."

Orpheus Solon Drac had to remind herself that hes a kid in this rp Raemos smoothed his uniform down, removing any of the wrinkles that might have somehow gotten into the pressed, starchy cloth. Gingerly, he eased himself onto his feet, finding that it was not difficult at all – he had been healed before and, often, a temporary loss of balance was the cost of recovery. Not now. “I can certainly understand that.” Raemos said, nodding, “A blanket casting requires you to split one's concentration between many, and some magic is inevitably wasted on the empty space between them...” Of course, his magic was not made for healing, but for destruction and despair, but he had used it on a group of bandits, and he knew the feeling of being stretched. “Though perhaps your Ysali magic helps you there, locking onto life force for you and thus preventing magical waste...” he mused thoughtfully. It would be something he would have to research... and research he would, because he had learned his lesson about chronic wounds. He had been expertly healed, but there was new tissue and he would do well to rest. Otherwise, his mother would be firmly on his case, and Sonia's determination was slightly terrifying (in a good way) “One hopes there is not a next time, but...” Raemos sighed, “There likely will be.” he studied Jungie thoughtfully. Raemos was young, only 16, and at that age everything seems passionately relevent and connected to ones interests... So, too, was this man. “In my guild...” he said carefully, trying to be subtle, “I am sure that they provide practice areas or... something... for such spellcasting... You should join.” he said, breaking his subtlety altogether. “But I suppose that is up to you.” he said, “Thank you for your offer – I shall remember it. If you should ever need a favor, whether you are in the Guardians or no - please – you have only to ask.”

DraconicFeline We can probably wrap this soon ^_^ Junjie smiled as Raemos explained his theory on magic and why it had been so draining for Junjie to cast in the manner that he had, "You seem to have a good grip on magical theory, I am quite impressed. There are a lot of people I've chatted with in the past who get a sort of glazed look in their eyes when it comes to such things. It's nice to be able to talk with you about such things." With the magical healing session done with Junjie knew that he needed to find his daughter, to make sure that she and her friend weren't getting into any mischief but he didn't want to rush Raemos along as he was enjoying talking to him. As such he motioned to the man to walkk with him. "I am of a similar to mind to you, I hope there isn't a next time, that the Mara have been discouraged for their desires to do... well, whatever it was that they wished to accomplish. Hopefully they will go back to where they came from and live peacefully. Well, at least as peacefully as something like them might?" He couldn't quite see them settling down to raise rock and metal based children or doing farming or something, but still, it was a nice thought that they might be able to do something that didn't involve a lot of fighting. Giving a shrug he said, "But who knows, it will likely be up to those like us to keep an eye out and make sure that they don't become a threat again. The world has enough of those already." "Hm?" The mention of Raemos's guild caused Junjie to lift an eyebrow, listening to what he was saying, before he gave a smile, "I will consider the offer but for the time being I should likely stick with the hunting party I have allied myself with, I do owe them much after all. Still it's nice to consider there is a guild out there that might not look upon those like myself poorly." Even if he didn't join it was a nice change of pace, just as Tukyere itself was, "I thank you for that offer as well Raemos." It was good to know he had friends and allies about in the world, Raemos being both wrapped in once.

Orpheus Solon Sorry it took so long... Clearly they must meet more though. I think we're done? “Well.” said Raemos, a small smile playing on his lips, “I am a mage, after all.” And very used to the glazed-over look. He walked with Junjie for a while until he saw his sister and mother out of the 'corner' of his gaze. He bowed carefully, trying not to wince at the odd 'newness' of his abdomen. “I must leave you here – They need to hear about the healing... as mothers and siblings must... and then I must return to my guild. Thank you...” he straightened and saluted Junjie, “We should speak again.” And then, with a tensing as if bracing for battle, he went to face the fussing of his family...
