He avoided saying any more on the subject of Mistral, on the basis of wanting neither to lie nor to jeopardize her position. It was almost characteristic quietude - she'd been something of an apprentice to him, and more than that, a close friend. He could just as well be mourning her betrayal, Finn decided, as he could be hiding something larger. Or at least he hoped that was the impression Azzo took away.
Laughing, he said, "Nah, she looks just like Arkady. Tall and skinny as a rail and her mother's red hair. She does have my eyes, though... and my freckles." He couldn't well say any more about Azzo's lost love, and was beginning to feel bad for being so overbearing about his present happiness. Awkward.
Pushing off the counter, Finn announced, "I keep the spare bedroom made up. I'll get you a towel and a change of clothes, and we can do your laundry once you've showered."
