"I see...don't blame yourself for it. If you couldn't make it there then you couldn't - it wasn't as if you didn't try." he whispered, wanting to try and assure the other. he was sure he felt guilt, most people would, he knew he'd feel guilt if he were in a similar situation. "Maybe...maybe he somewhere, somehow, doesn't wish to remain? I - I mean depending on the memories.." he was trailing off, hesitating in what he said. He wasn't sure, this was dangerous territory really.
As the man started talking about his son he felt a tightening in his chest. Lifting a hand he shook his head while waving his hand about. "It's ok - I understand. I don't mind actually .I just hope that something can be done and information on him found. Maybe...Maybe he can be brought back to our side - somehow. I'll do what I can for you so you have some information on your son." He deserved, and needed, to know where his son was in life and what was going on.
"I'll send out word to my contacts tonight." He would do this, he would find out whatever he could if he had to go into the city himself. he didn't say this but he made the promise to himself mentally.

Camelot nodded, smiling.
"That's what I'm hoping for," he said, though he knew that it was a slim hope. From what he had seen, and what he knew, memories were fickle where changing sides was concerned. Chaonis might be able to return to their side, but he would be a different person, and the one that Camelot knew, his son, would be lost forever. Still, having to help him readjust, give him new memories to build from, was not the worst thing in the world. Leaving him to Chaos and letting it corrupt him further... turn him into a monster... that would be something Camelot just could not do. To him, that was the cruelest choice.
They had to try and convince Chaonis to purify, if they could. He was a strong man and a loyal soldier, when he had been making his own choices. That could not have just vanished. Camelot had to believe Chaos was not that strong.
"In any case," Camelot said, after a quiet moment of thought, "I'm glad for the help and I'm going to try to do anything I can for him. However it ends up, at least we'll have done all we could. You're a very good young man, Chaldene, for offering me the time of day to help. I will repay your service, that I promise."

He could only hope, for the older mans sake, that his son would want to purify if given the choice. He had no idea how strong a hold chaos could have, just how strong it could make their soldiers. It was a strong force to stand against; that was for sure. Tinkering with one of his lip piercings he bobbed his head and smiled at the other, it was a hallow thing but it was still present upon his face.
"That's all we can do right now - our very best." What else could they do? To do less than that wouldn't help and they had to keep alive, and in the best shape possible, in order to mount some form of fight against the Negaverse at some point. They couldn't just roll over and remain living here in the woods and in caves while some opted to live dangerously in the city. It wasn't an option at all! So they had to all do there best; do whatever they could.
"Thank you...it's the least I can do. I wish there was more I could offer...or that things hadn't gotten to this point for you or any of us." That was what he really hoped, some way to turn back the hands of time. but there was no such way, magical or otherwise. There was no senshi or knight who controlled time - a shame really.
"I'll keep that in mind. I just hope I never need to call it in." That nothing ever had him needing to call in a favor and possibly put someone else in danger or ask them something that was so huge he needed to pull a string to get it done. He disliked the idea very much. "Let us both just hope that this all ends sometime soon and we can try and rebuild our lives and those of other people." A nodding of his head as he spoke.
"I should get going though. I have some people to contact." To start the search for information on the Knights son.

Sleet Tempest Snape I think that's a fin for me! If you want to RP again just give me a poke. All my folks are available. "Alright," Camelot said, with an easier smile than he might have thought he could make, at the moment. He felt relaxed, though he was thinking about some pretty troubling things. It was always going to raise conflict within him, thinking about his son and how he was lost, but he knew that with friends helping him, he had plenty to keep fighting for.
He took a step back and cleared his throat, mastering himself.
"Thank you, again. Be careful as you go. Back to the city, and with this information gathering. I know we've covered the subject, but I want you to be safe."
He needed to stop worrying, but that was almost akin to telling him to stop breathing. Especially in this day and age: there was a lot to worry about, and he had only spared a fraction of his attention to it all, respectively. But that was sort of a ridiculous idea, and he knew that he was going to have to accept that these knights and senshi were all just as capable as he was. He was just over protective, especially to the ones that offered him friendship or kindness. The last thing he ever wanted was for them to be in trouble.
