While he was sitting on the sand near him TRYING to pry open the chest cause he didn't want to yet give up his treasure to any eyes to tell him anything about this antique box that Ahi was ecstatic about having found, he was letting the boy who had shown up the day his pretty pearl had disappeared dig with a small toy shovel in the shallows nearby as it kept him busy and away from HIS treasure.
Žába was slowly learning his 'daddy's love for treasure. And while the tot was not really learning much else he loved his daddy. Žába wasn't really hunting for anything in particular he was however enjoying playing in the wet sand that was all over him and in piles around him

After digging until the hole came to her stomach, Dayht had to accept that her spot was a bust. She climbed out, her body and hair covered in sand. "Alright, your turn now Nigh nigh." She spoke while handing off the shovel.
Her sister was actually doing something! Niday smiled faintly as she took the tool, practically glowing with how happy she was. Dayht almost looked normal again. Dirty and still sad, but a gigantic improvement. "Right. I think over there looks nice." With that she strode away from the tide. The water was already beginning to fill in her sisters hole.

Chini squealed at her success. Ohhhh an egg? She stuck it in her mouth to investigate further before becoming distracted by the other Pae again. They were still digging! She needed to keep digging as well! She pushed herself up off the ground and toddled a bit further up before sitting back down to try again. This was almost more fun than finding things in the Carnival! Where was Pasha? She needed to see her findings!

Nimue blinked at her find. She had not been expecting...Cheese sticks of all things! Oh well, they were still warm after all. Did some one loose their lunch? Nimue mulled over her thoughts as she walked away from her first plot of land. She stopped just shy of the border, popping one of the cheese sticks in her mouth before settling down to dig once again.

Remy shook the strange little capsule, hearing something moving inside he opened it. Ooo, tickets. What are tickets. Daddy would know what to do with them. The boy splashed his way out of the water, holding the tickets up hi so that they wouldn't get wet. After he was back on land he 'sniffed out' another spot. The little boy leaned over and used both hands to dig vigorously, sending sand flying everywhere (hopefully not getting in the eyes of nearby competitors).

A slight triumphant whoop escaped Simon as he found his first treasure. Emboldened by success, he trotted toward another spot he thought might look promising. Maybe he'd been overthinking things before, he was allowed to have fun. It's not like he neglected his duties to do it. A broad smile crossed his face. Even if he didn't find anything else, he would be happy.

Fea Line Pasha found a glass bottle that might be useful, but nothing any more interesting. o0_Daisuke_0o Shaharazad dug and dug, but didn't find anything. Ho hum. Seruta Pinkie Pie didn't have to dig very long before she found a strange capsule buried shallow. I'd open it *very carefully* if I were her. Congratulations! Pinkie Pie found a ticket capsule! It has 25 tickets inside! Shicala Zaba didn't have to dig very long before she found a strange capsule buried shallow. Congratulations! Zaba found a ticket capsule! It has 5 tickets inside! Tartara Seabreeze Niday almost lost hope, digging for so long before she hit wood. This sure was buried deep! As she pulled it out, she feels kind of nauseated. Better sit down for a while... Congratulations! Niday found a trunk! Take it to Elizabeth to see what's inside! Irish Night Fox What's this? It could be a bit of sea glass, but it looks too sharp to have tumbled through the ocean. Congratulations! Chini found a crystal! Take it to Azure to find out more! Twitchapher the 3rd Nimue uncovered a slimy blob of kelp. Yuck. Wolfs Heart Remy found a starfish! That might make a fun, if smelly, souvenir. Oziandra Simon didn't find anything interesting. Unless he thought lots of sand was interesting.

Gleeing, Pasha quickly dug the bottle out of the sand...only to realize nothing was in it. Frowning that the shiny wasn't as exciting as others, she tossed it to the side and took up her plastic shovel to go dig elsewhere. Maybe if anything, she'd have to go steal that little toddlers shiny rocks. They were very pretty....and she wanted.

Oh gross! Nimue made a face as she shook the slime from her hands. Some things are better of NOT found. Nimue fluttered her wings flew slightly off the ground, looking for a good spot. She picked a spot right next to the water, washing off her hands before beginning to dig.

Niday was just about to give up herself when her shovel hit a distinctive thunk. Slowly a smile spread on her face. Her sister was going to FLIP with this. "Oh Day...I do believe I found something."
The Day Fae had taken to staring at the water as her sibling dug, but the instant that Niday spoke she was peering over the holes edge. "What?! Really? Get it up, get it up!"
Hook, line and sink. All of her exasperation and hard work paid off for that long lost gleam in Dayhts eyes. "Alright, here it comes!" She reached down and with a sharp tug, pulled free the chest to set it outside of the hole.
"You found a treasure chest Nigh nigh!! We really are pirates!" For a moment she forgot everything. Forgot her mother's death, how Apollo abandoned her, the deep lonely wound in her heart. It was replaced with sheer glee. "It's my turn! Lets dig over there!"

Vash wandered onto the beach, he watched the random pae all digging into the sand, all the pretty girl pae had him oogling at each and every one as usual. He tripped on the hole another pae had left in an area since he was not watching where he was going and landed face first into the sand. Well, if he couldn't beet them.... join them...

Remy picked up the starfish, shaking it as well. Didn't seem like there was anything in this one. The little boy gave a crooked, mischievous smile and threw it at a passerby. Before finding another spot to dig and spray sand everywhere. That was the fun part in all this: making the sand go flying. Remy was careful to avoid getting it in his own eyes, but other eyes were not likely spared the same care.

Chini couldn't believe her luck! She had dug for awhile when the sand revealed the biggest most beautiful shiny she had even seen! She reached into the dirt hole and tried to grab it up, pricking herself on the sharpness of it. She growled angrily down at it, but she HAD to have it! She managed to dig the rest out and stash it for now.
She had to have more! This exhilarating feeling she was getting from it was overwhelming. She hurried her way back down the beach away from the crowd and began to dig again. Her ears picked up movement from behind and she glanced over her shoulder to see a Pae she hadn't seen before, holding the hand of two others her size.
"Well hallo there lil 'un." Mama greeted her. "What ya do'n over here by yourself?" she asked as she helped her little ones to get comfortable in the sand.
Chini didn't like how it suddenly became crowded and got up to walk away before the odd looking blue pae could say anything about it. When Mama Blues looked up the small child was gone. She looked around for a moment before shrugging and looking down at her girls. "Ready? Like this." she started to show them how to dig a hole.
Sona watched with wide eyes as her mom moved the sand to the sides, finding more within. She became excited by the prospect and wondered if she could find more sand anywhere! She looking around for a good spot and plopped down. She stared hard at the sand, reaching out and gingerly pushing some then pushing some more, soon she was blazing a trail in the sand, loud Mama like laughter erupting from her mouth.

Pinkie Pie squealed and lifted her prized capsule in the air in an over-exaggerated fist pump. He giggle-fit erupted into some small form of snort before she leapt out of her hole and skipped away from the beach, marveling the capsule as she went alone. "Oooh! I wonder what's inside! Maybe I really DID find China!!" she mused before continuing her outward thoughts with various ideas that came to mind.
Harmony followed her mom quietly with her tiny hand locked firmly into the larger. She didn't like new places. They made her shy. Timid. She followed closely to the back-side of Fortissimo's thigh and peered cautiously around the blue mare's leg periodically as they walked.
The sand, however, seemed relatively familiar. There was plenty of sand back home. They lived on a beach, after-all. Though the concept of digging in the sand was a whole new venture to her. Harmony liked the water and the nearby waves drew her attention more than anything.... but she watched her mother with renewed curiosity.
Her head tilted as her wings gave a bit of a flutter, watching intently a moment before bending forward, tail lifting into the air and hands touching the sand. She blinked a moment before she giggled and patted at the sand, eyes glittering with new found joy at how sand felt between her fingers.
Taking another moment to watch her mother dig, she returned her attention to the spot between her own hooves and began to mimic the motions, digging a hole where she stood. Giggles continued to resonate from the toddler as she dug further.
