Fate blinked at her, he didn't mean to mess up her name.... for the umteenth time. his tail slid free of being the belt with a swaying motion back behind him as she patted his head. "Tay...Ki...Aiko." he tried it again the way she had shown him earlier even though he had to correct himself in the middle of it. "Sissy said when you no know where ta go... " he pointed up to the tallest building he could see, then scratched his head. "... go... " he lost track of his thought for a moment. "... go up high." Fate rubbed his eyes as he looked ahead thinking he may have saw something, but it was gone faster then his eyes could handle.

  "Yep! Aiko..Hee,hee..It's not to hard once you get it. " She said with a small smile before she brought her hand back down. As he then pointed ahead of them, to one of the more taller buildings in this strange deserted place, she looked at it for a moment before returning her attention back to him. "...That might be a good idea, I mean, we would be able to find the exit out of here from that high! Great idea! " Though there was the question of how they would get up to the top, if anything was damaged, like say the staircase leading up. Or the fact that there could be monsters inside. There was,...always those many possibilities.."What's wrong? You look like you saw a ghost!"

Fate nodded a little. "Sissy, always right." he said always having a high opinion of his brothers and sisters, how numerous they were though was an amazing thing. his free hand went into his pocket and started to roll that little bell around. he stumbled a little on a crack in the ground. "umm." he mumbled. as he kept his eyes open on the road, his ears twitched. "no go dat way." he said turning down another road. "it... stinky less over here." he said trying to avoid something over there.

"I see.. I guess she must be.." She couldn't say she wasn't the same way with her family, she would always trust in what her siblings told her, not just because they were all so much older then her. As she noticed him stumble a little, she lightly tightened her hand around his, not to hurt him at all, just enough to be sure he wouldn't fall. She did let him continue to lead though. "Okay, i'm following you.."

While the two kids continued to catch up on what they missed, while they were apart... or what they could remember of it, Fate led them past hoards of monsters by using all his senses, but that song was still messing with his subconscious so his mind would trail off, or just leave another gap in his memory. along the way there was an old gas station where they found a old backpack, and some food and drinks for later on, which fate chose to carry.
The tower was getting closer, monsters seamed to be showing up more often, but strangely enough the beasts kept some distance from them, at least leaving a path for them to follow. "A... aiko?" he asked starting to feel strange now he could see the door, and the monsters were blocking them from leaving now, the only choice was to go forward. "T... there.... everywhere." fate mumbled

They may of been stuck here, but at least a little luck came to them. The bag to help them carry the food and drinks they had found along the way, something that would likely come in great handy if they couldn't get out of here soon. " This is so..strange..don't you think? Maybe..they're afraid of us! " Hey, she could dream that she and him were intimidating in some way!
As the door became more clear, she noticed too, that unfortunately so did the many monsters that stood guard of it. "Ahh, well...It's....never that easy, right? Hmph! " Aiko began to think, they may not be able to scare these creatures away, but what if she did a little bluffing act? At this point, anything was worth a shot. "...You monsters better let us through...! My daddy won't be so happy with you..And he will destroy you without even trying! He's a demon, and super-super strong!!" Unfortunately, Jake was no where around here, and likely had no idea where Aiko even was for that matter.

Fate looked at her a little shocked, she wasn't going to try doing it the easy way she was... quick to be loud, scaring fate to pulling his tail between his legs wrapped around his left one. The song changed a little and the opening cleared up, the path on the sides were blocked off, and right behind the two of them were 4 large behemoths surrounded by many lesser monsters, but not once did any of them attack the kids.
"K-kiko?" fate asked once again falling back to his old way of saying her name "W... we go in... now?" he asked since all he saw was the door was clear and everything around them seamed to be moving with monsters, even the sky. he tugged her hand trying to get her to go into the building
The kids seemed to take way to long and the song got a little louder, the beasts reacted to it, the 4 behemoths started charging down the road at the kids not giving them much time to get moving.

A soft gulp sound could be heard from Aiko as she nervously looked around them. Behemoth's. Why did it have to be them? Of all the monsters in this world, it had to be them. The only positive thing was they didn't seem to be moving into attack them, so she thought maybe her bluff had worked. "...Y-Yeah..Let's go..! " She began to head into that direction with him, up until the thumping sounds of the four Behemoth's began on there charge...In the children's direction. Oh, wonderful! "Run!!"

Fate didn't need to be told to run twice, in fact all he needed was to see Aiko running and he'd be sure to follow, at least making sure his only friend he could remember was safe. but the 4 large beasts were getting close fast, fate took a deep breath and used the only miteria he had hidden on him, and to there luck it was Haste, just giving them enough of a boost to get past the doors as the beasts would have collided with them.
The inside of the tower was strangely enough still in tact, the main room had a large fountain still running a desk, sofas and more, it looked like a lobby to a really fancy hotel where rich people would go when out on a business trip of some kind. The music though got louder, and would start to mess with the kids preseption, things would get a little blury, hard to focus on anything at a distance,
When fate got through the door he fell to his hands and knees panting looking to be sure aiko made it, "No more doen dat." he muttered then went back to his hard breathing

Resting her hands on her knees as she breathed in, working to calm her breathing from the much running, she began to look around where they were now. Despite how it looked on the outside, it seemed..in perfect condition. How strange was that? The water fountain was rather pretty and helped to calm her more just from the soothing sound of dripping water. Everything seemed better for the moment, until she heard the music again...and things began to get very strange..Maybe they ran to much, and the exhaustion was messing with they're heads?
As Fate fell to his hands and knees, Aiko snapped back to reality for that moment, looking to him with concern.. "..You okay Fate? " She sighed, nodding slightly. "Yeah...Let's not go outside again..I think someone will save us..right? "
 ((ooc: Lol. From the Lion King, Simba's Pride. Those two kids get into trouble a lot.. ))

Fate's breathing slowed down little by little gradually allowing him the ability to let out a few words. "No more puppycats." he said referring to the behemoths outside not knowing what to call them, or just not able to keep his thoughts together to get the right name out. looking to Aiko, and avoiding her question concerning his own safety, he simply tilted his head to the side and said. "You... kina stinky." but then again the music was playing with his head as well. "buba say... No help fer dose that look fer it," he rubbed his head to get the thought back together again. "you must help yourself er you get none." Fate said but then again, when was it his family had ever shown themselves when aiko was around, or her family.... or even her friends.... heck fate never spoke of his own family before this, in fact he always had his head hung low and shied away from people asking him that, especially since he was born in a lab when his mother died giving birth to him.

Her eyes went rather swiftly to his, if this wasn't such a bad situation they were in, she might of gotten somewhat insulted! "...I do not stink! You smell the Behemoth on me or something! " Sticking her tongue out at him, Aiko did a little cross of her arms.Though she wasn't really that mad, hence the childish sticking of her tongue out act. "Hmm? " She blinked at him, her expression now replaced by that of confusion. "...So you don't think no one will come to help us? "

Fate pouted a little at Aiko's scowl, he didn't mean anything bad by it... he was just being... his odd little self. he looked away from her choosing not to say anything more about that. Fate shook his head. "no budy no where." he said his nose and ears could only spot her the monsters, and that song... again that song. "We.... go up er.... stay here?" he asked thinking that they might go back to all there arguing again, and that was the last thing he wanted espesaly now.

"I wasn't really mad you know.." Aiko said to him, he must not be the joking kind. "I don't know, There's not much down here and were more level with the monsters if they manage to break in..So maybe going up would be better? " She didn't know, but it was the only option coming to her mind that seemed at least logical to a point.

Fate shook his head not even feeling remotely like himself here, the song messing with his mind, placing thoughts there that didn't quite belong. he looked to aiko again then around the big room for the stairs, but just saw a door, and what was meant to be an elevator but it's doors were wide open and the box was lower then the first floor and no cords to pull it up. the thought of those beasts getting in sent chills down his spine. He looked up again at the roof then again to aiko. "K-Aiko?" fate asked timidly "Y-you wana go up?" being in this room, this place hearing that song, and even the smell was all was getting to him at once, Aiko was lucky her nose and ears weren't as sensitive as his or she'd start going crazy as well.
