Reflection of
Summer BreakThe child waved as he walked out, "You as well Granny!"
He smiled as he looked down at the dreamcatcher he now held. Running a small hand over the flute he felt warmth now along with the vastness of his escape. He felt relaxed before he stowed the object back in his messenger back. Making sure it was in a pocket he rarely used, which was quickly becoming the placeholder for the thing. He looked back up and narrowed his eye at the sudden beam of sunlight.
Seeing the shape of a wing within the beam he smiled. Ever since he was little he took the sight of wings as a good omen. So far it didn't fail the child's belief so he patted his bag without much thought. The child leaned on the pole as he waited for the bus home. His mind whirling with all the new information he was now to ponder.
'Dream Spirits. A curious thing. From what I gather there are two, Nightmares and Dreams.' he shivered, 'I shudder to think of how I would of turned out with a Nightmare as my spirit.' he looked up as the bus pulled to a stop. After swiping his pass he sat down, pulling his bag into his lap as he kept thinking.
'Others...Dreamers, Granny called them, I wonder if I'll be able to meet them so easy.' he leaned on his hand as he let the other resting on the bag slowly stroke said bag. Monty let out a soft sigh,
'I can do this. I can reach out to them. It has to be just as if not even more tough for them than it is for me.' With those thoughts in mind the child made his choice. He would find the other Dreamers.
