Journal One

Zajac held his rabbit stuffed animal to his chest, his bunny jacket on with the hood up, trying his hardest not to start crying in the car again. He had to be strong, already in the car there had been a fight between his sisters and his father when his father told him he needed to grow up since he had started crying earlier. Although he didn't like the whole fighting, he was happy that his sisters stood up for him. It made him feel just a little bit better.

He had never been away from them, so it was hard on them just like it was on him. The four of them were normally together the whole summer, doing things that each of them liked to do. His sisters had never left, nor had he. They never wanted to. This whole idea of Summer Camp wasn't something that even sounded fun. It wasn't something that he wanted to even go to, but this was what he needed to do in order for the mean people to stop investigating his family about the lotto. He didn't know why it was such a big deal, he was just helping out the people who needed help. He gave them numbers and they got money. That was nice, right? So why did he get in trouble for it? It wasn't like he was keeping it all for his family, he gave the numbers to other people that needed the money. To him it would only be bad if he was keeping all the money for himself. Still, they came and then the people who came to tell him about camp came. They made the bad people go away and leave his family alone, but they had also told his parents about the camp, so he didn't like them all that much either.

When the car stopped he took a deep breath, neither he nor his sisters moved as his parents got out of the car and moved to the trunk to get his things out of it. Kasia sat next to him, her arms around him and than Minka and Zofia were each holding one of his hands. The got out of the car and moved to the front of it, far from their parents whom none of them were happy with at the moment.

"Okay Zajączek, we tried all we could but you have to go now. Promise you will write to us each day, and we will do the same. Expect three letters by tomorrow." Kasia said as she petted his head, his two other sisters nodding. He knew that they would write to him, but it didn't make this whole thing less frightening.

"Just try to make friends, and if there are any bullies make sure to tell us about it. We'll steal the car and come teach them a lesson." Zofia said with a squeeze of his hand. The others nodded again and a smile finally came across his face. He knew they wouldn't be able to come, but just the thought of them stealing a car made him smile.

"Now come on, keep that smile on and let's go get your bags. Maybe they will let us move you in to your cabin, we'll make sure you get the bottom bunk and make it like a cave to protect you from everyone else. It will be your own little space, where no one can come unless you want them." Minka tugged at his hand and the four of them went to go join his parents and grab his bags.

          Here went nothing.

Journal Two

The front of the cabin was as close as his family was allowed to take him, which meant he would be setting up his bunk all by himself. He sighed as his sisters and ten his parents said their goodbyes. He watched as they walked away, just standing there with his bags for a while. He knew he only had a period of time to get his bunk set up before lunch time with the rest of the camp, but he just couldn't take his eyes off of them. It wasn't until they were all in the car and so far that he couldn't see his sisters faces in the back window. With a sigh he grabbed his two bags and started walking into the Cabin. It was called the Oak Cabin, and was for boys only. Part of him was happy to be away from girls, but a bigger part of him wished that he would have been with the girls. Boys tended to be meaner than girls, and he was use to being around girls more than he was use to being around boys.

He opened the door slowly and was pleased to find that there was no one in the cabin. There was stuff everywhere, but there was no one there at the moment thankfully. Looking around he realized that there was an open bottom bunk! He smiled and moved over to it quickly, there was no way anyone was going to take it from him!

First things first, he put everything he needed for his bed on the bed. That meant his pillow, his sheets, and of course his stuffed bunny that he never went anywhere without. He smiled at it for a second before moving to pack his things in his drawers and putting his suitcases under his bed. He took a deep breath before grabbed one of his sheets and tying them to the underneath of the top bunk. When both corners were tied he smiled. It would be easy enough for him to get in and out of the bunk, but it gave him a little privacy. Sure it might paint a target on his back, but it was worth the risk. Plus this way people wouldn't know if he was in his bunk or not, which made it so he could listen to them secretly.

Next he made his bed, his sheets were a rich brown color that were just like the ones he had at home. He smiled at the whole thing as he flattened his bed till there were no wrinkles. Once he was satisfied he grabbed his notebook and a pen from his drawer and started his first letter to hi sisters. In it he wrote about his luck with no one else being there, and with the bottom bunk being open. Than he described the cabin, and made guesses about his future roommates based on what they already had in the cabin. None of them had their beds made like his, but that was normal. People normally weren't so crazy with their beds.

Journal Three

          Dear Kaya,
TABTABSo far so good. I haven't met anyone in my cabin, but their beds seem nice. I know that you've only just left, but I already miss you more than words could explain. What are you guys going to do this summer? I hope you don't do too many fun things without me, but than again I hope you do. I know you have a lot of friends, and since you have Mina and Zuzu with you you'll never be alone. I promise to wash my bunny jacket once a week just like you asked, but I'm a little worried. What if they mess it up? What if when they wash it an ear falls off? They might not know how to do things like Mama does them. And if they do break who is gonna fix them? Maybe I shouldn't wash it Kaya. I won't be gone that long... Anyways, I hope the drive home is good and that Tata doesn't make you guys listen to talk shows the whole way home. Kocham Cię, and I can not wait until we see each other again. I'm going to start reading your book as soon as I'm done writing my letters. I hope it is as good as you say.
          TABTABLove,
              TABZajączek

          Dear Mina,
Kocham Cię! I can't wait for the rain! Does it have to rain to wear the boots though? I think I'll just wear them everywhere I go, that way I will be prepared just in case it does rain. Thank you so much for letting me borrow them, I promise that I will bring them back in the same condition that you let me borrow them in. I will clean them and make sure that they are still super shiny. Please have fun this summer. Part of me wants you guys to just stay home and miss me, but that would be unfair. I know that there is no way I'm going to have as much fun as I would with you guys, but at least I'm learning things. Hopefully I'll have fun things to show you when I get home. Well that's all for today. Get home safely and write me as soon as you guys do!
          TABTABLove,
              TABZajączek

          Dear Zuzu,
I've been using your stone since you gave it to me, and I'm not sure if there will be much to give back to you by the time that I'm done. I'm just so worried about everything. What if everyone here hates me, what do I do then? Do you promise to make Mama and Tata come pick me up if it is too horrible? I don't think they will listen to me, but if you, Mina and Kaya gang up maybe they will. Also what if people take my stuff when I'm not in the cabin? I'm scared to leave things out, I don't know the people here and I love everything I brought... I already had lunch, which was okay. Not as good as Mina's cooking but it was good. Anyways, thanks again for the stone and I can not wait until I see you again. Have fun being the youngest sibling until I get back. Kocham Cię.

ROLEPLAY

          Dear Siostry,
TABTABSo today I made a friend... Well not really, but kind of. This girl came into my cabin looking for her bunk and I ended up helping her look for her bunk as well as helping her take her stuff there. I didn't really get to decide to help, she has a very bossy personality, but I was glad to help all the same. You guys always told me to help a lady in need. She had a pet snake with her, it was very scary. She said that her name was Yog-Sothoth, but that I could call her Yog. I doubt that I'll ever call the snake anything, since she is very very scary, but it's nice to know her name... I guess. Oh! The girls name was Aide. I thought it was kind of strange, but who am I to say anything about strange names. She looked older than me, but not older than you guys, but maybe it was her bossy personality that made her seem older. She was taller than me, but than again most girls my age are. I wonder if she has any siblings...

She did tell me about the animals around here being magical because of some arrowhead thing and how maybe the worms are even magical? I'm kind of glad she told me though, because now I know better than to plant things. Imagine if while digging a hole to plant in I stumbled across the world of magical worms and they tried to kill me? Minka don't look so disbelieving, I can see into the future so anything is possible. She also told me that some kids are here because they explode other people and turn them inside out, not sure if that's true. In fact I think I need to do some more research to see if what she says is true. If it is, the part about the worms I mean, than I'm wondering if you could send me some pots and other planting things so I could have an above ground garden. It won't be as awesome but at least it will be something.

Anyways, the reason I think we are sort of friends is that she said she will do the scary stuff for me in our class things, or whatever they are. I'm not sure if there will be scary parts or not, but she seems to think there will be so if that's the case I'll be glad to help. She guessed that I was good at things like writing and kind of told me I'd be helping her. I know you guys wouldn't approve of me going along with a bully like that but in the long run it might be smart to make friends with her.

Who knows. For all I know she could be super mean to me next time I see her and could have only been being nice to me so I would take her things in. I'll keep you updated on our friendship. I miss you guys a lot. If you were here at least I would have one less thing to worry about. Kocham Cię.
          TABTABLove,
              TABZajączek

P.S. She lent me a comic book about people with powers like mine. If you can find any send them over please! They are called True Psychic Tales. Thanks!

A box had come for him in the mail, with all three of his sisters names on it. It was rather big, bigger than he expected to receive. He had only been gone for a week so far, and his sisters last letters hadn't said anything about getting him any sort of gift... It was strange, but not something he wanted to question any further! Quickly he took the box to his bunk, his little cave, and started to open it. He was trying to be careful, he didn't know what was in it so it was better to be on the safe side, but his excitement made it hard. Finally, after what he felt like must have been an eternity, the box was open. He really had to tell his sisters to not over do it with the tape if they should send him another package.

Peaking into the box Zajac was delighted to find his favorite animal! Not the actual animal of course, his sisters would never sen that in a box, but a stuffed one! He looked back at the other one on his bed before returning his attention to his new stuffed rabbit. His old one had had forever, even before the move, but that didn't mean he didn't love it. With a frown he places the two stuffed animals next to each other before placing the box at the foot of his bunk.

"Mr. Bunny, this is..." Well what would he name his new stuffed animal? She was bigger than Mr. Bunny, so he didn't want to name her Mrs. Bunny. It was than he noticed something he had missed in his excitement, there was a letter attached to the rabbits hand! He opened the envelop and started to read the letter.

            Dear Zajączek,
TABTABHello little brother! You would never guess what came in town this week, a fair! Although we didn't want to have fun without you, Mama and Tata told us that since you were away having fun at work it would be only fair that we had fun also. It was a lot of fun, hopefully they come again when you are here, and together we won this bunny for you! We each won our own prizes at different games, but convinced the guy at the ring toss to let us turn ours in and get yours. It was like you were there with us! We hope that you love her, her name is Bonnie. We all miss you very much, I hope you are having a wonderful time. Pleasee wash the jacket little brother, I'm sure that someone will know how to fix it if it gets broken (which I know it won't). You won't make any friends if you smell bad! Kocham Cię,
            TABTABLove,
                TABKaya

TABP.S. Mina and Zuzu send their love as well

For a second Zajac frowned, his sisters were having fun without them, but than he realized how selfish he was being. They deserved to have fun, even if it wasn't with him. Putting the letter in his box of letters Zajac went and hugged Bonnie. He was so lucky to have sisters who thought about him, even when he wasn't around.

As he walked to his bunk Zajac twirled the little stuffed animal in his hands. He had found the little pizza in the back of on of his classrooms earlier that week. He had given it to the lost and found, which was the right thing to do even if he didn't want to. When it he turned it in he was told that after a week if no one claimed it he would be able to come back and it for himself. The whole week had be agonizing, and Zajac wanted to go and check on it at least once a day, but he didn't. He wasn't sure why he wanted the pizza so much, but he did. Maybe it was because the creature was cute, and it would add to his newly created collection of stuffed animals. Why not add an adorable pizza to his two stuffed bunny. That morning was the day that his one week of waiting was up, and when he hurried over to the lost and found he was pleasantly surprised to find that no one had claimed it!

Again he had a problem though, what would he name the pizza? Moving the sheet that made the entrance to his 'cave' Zajac placed the pizza between his two bunnys and sat back to look at them. He could just call it Ciagnae, which meant pizza in Polish, but he didn't like that as a name. He racked his brain to think of something. What would his sisters say, they were always awesome at naming thing. Then it hit him, Presley! Elvis Presley was the king of Rock and Roll, and this little pizza would be the king of the pizzas! Zajac chuckled to himself. Yes that was a name that his sisters would be proud of. Thinking of his sister reminded him that he had a little bit of time before he had to go and do anything. More than enough time for him to write a letter back home.

          Dear Siostry,
TABTABYou would never guess what happened to me! Before you start to think that I've made friends that's not it, but something else amazing happened! Remember when I told you that I found that pizza stuffed animal and turned it in just like you guys would have wanted me too? Well turns out no one claimed it and now I get to keep it! I took him back to my bunk today and have named him Presley! Do you guys like the name? I think you will. I haven't learned anything new lately, just kinda been wandering around. Hopefully soon I'll have something more exciting to write home to you about. Please send me my 3DS, I seem to have forgotten it and it would give me something else to do on my down time. Maybe a book or two from our library also? Well time for me to go, can't wait to hear from you again. Kocham cię.
          TABTABLove,
              TABZajączek

With that he folded up the paper and put it in one of his already stamped envelopes. He had a ton of them, always ready for his next letter.

For days Zajac was sure that he had heard the sounds of a turkey, something he hadn't heard in a long time and that he hadn't expected to hear while at camp. He would be walking from his cabin to other places of the school, or even just sitting somewhere quiet when he would hear the gobbling of a turkey. However, no matter how hard and how long he looked he was never able to actually find the turkey that he heard. He also wasn't sure if it was something that only he was hearing, since none of the other children or people who worked in the camp ever said anything about it. Plus even though he had heard the animal while other people were around, he heard it even more when he was alone.

Today was one of the days where Zajac didn't want to be around anyone, so he was sitting under a tree in what he assumed was a safe place in the forest. So far he hadn't had any trouble in that location, nor had he seen any of the dangerous animals that he heard lurked in the woods around the school. Wild animals were normally scary, but wild animals with abilities? Yeah, he knew that he wouldn't be able to handle that. Deep in the book that he was reading Zajac didn't really hear the turkey at first. It was there, but just an echo since he was so concentrated on the book he was reading. After a few minutes though the sound was louder, causing him to actually pause and look up from the book that he was reading. The turkey seemed closer than ever before, and at once he put the book in his book bag and stood up.

Although normally he wasn't curious enough to follow strange sounds, he knew that trukeys could be dangerous, he needed to know he wasn't just crazy and hearing things. He couldn't possibly ask someone, that would require him speaking up, so he had to take the matters into his own hands. Slowly he looked around the tree, pausing every once in a while to see if he heard anything else. For a few minutes there was nothing, and than he heard it coming from somewhere to his left. Moving quickly he moved bushes aside and found nothing, just as all the times before.

With a sigh Zajac was about to turn and walk away when right next to his ear he heard it again. He didn't move, frozen in fear like he normally was, though from the corner of his left eye he could see it, the turkey. It was just floating there, not touching the ground and starting at Zajac. The two of them were very still for a second before the turkey made one more gobble and blinked out of view. Zajac shook his head. So not only could the turkey float, but it could also go invisible. That would explain why he almost never saw the turkey, and why it seemed to be everywhere. Zajac shook his head and went back to where he was reading his book once more, taking out his book once he was settled again. Now he knew he wasn't crazy, and that was enough for him. Hopefully the turkey wouldn't bother him much longer.

Since being at camp Zajac had tried to learn more and more about his abilities, or rather his ability. Sure there were the ones that everyone who was a psychic could do, but it was his precognition that got him to the camp an the skill he wanted to develop the most. The other ones were cool and all, but being able to see flashes of the future was so much cooler! Plus there was so much good that he could do for other people if he could just control it. Unfortunately he didn't know much more about how to call on these visions than he did when he first got to the camp. Sure he had read a few books, and talked to a few teachers, but he hadn't taken any 'official classes' yet so he didn't know much. Still he was determined. Since the last time that he had a vision, which was months ago, he hadn't had any. Not even small flashes or the headaches that sometimes came before the flashes. This worried him greatly.

It was currently his free time, the time which he normally reserved to writing letters to his sisters back home, and Zajac was huddled in his little cave of a bed reading. Although he enjoyed normal books as a much as every other kid out there, maybe a little more, today he was just reading books based on people who also had the ability of Precognition. From what he understood it wasn't a very rare ability, many psychics developed it, but it was one that people didn't really understand. 'Great, I would get an ability that no one understands...' he though with a small sigh. That would make learning more about it even harder.

Closing the book he was reading Zajac laid back on his bed and closed his eyes. 'Okay... What did I do last time.' he started to wonder, fearing talking to him out loud in case one of the other campers might hear him. He didn't want to give anyone any reason to pick on him. Try as he might he didn't remember doing anything different any of the times. All that he could remember was walking around, and even that wasn't every time. Sometimes he was siting, and sometimes he was just waking up and still laying in bed. He wasn't wearing anything special either, unless his bunny jacket counted. But he wore that all the time so it would have triggered something else already.

Try as he might he could not figure out how to have another vision, and just like every day before he was left living in the present. Sooner than he wished his free time was over and it was time for him to go be social and do stuff in the camp. Sometimes he wished the whole time he was at camp he either had time to himself or class time, since that was what he came for anyways. But his sisters told him he had to be more social. Maybe it was a good idea, for all he knew someone else had already figured out what he wanted to know. Time for some snooping.

I rolled a 1 two posts back, just had to move things around.

One of the more well known abilities, but hardly understood. Precognition allows a psychic to see brief glimpses into the future -- but often they are confusing and without context. This can make it difficult to do anything useful with the knowledge, leading to great frustration. Sometimes, this ability may activate on its own, leaving the psychic disoriented and stressful. Second sight may only offer the barest amount of information to start with, mere flashes of seconds to come or some unidentified time in the near future. Good luck deciphering these visions.

Journal Eight

Breakfast had ended for the day and Zajac was making his way back to his bunk for some down time before they had something else to do. He couldn't remember what they were doing with the day, like what teacher he had to report to, but they would said it over the speakers when it was time so he wasn't really worried about it. He sometimes took naps, his little cave of a bunk was good for naps at all times of the day, but he wasn't in the mood for a nap at that moment. He hadn't written a letter back him for about a day, so he figured that it was a good idea to do that. After all there were somethings that he hadn't updated them about!

          Dear Siostry,
TABTABI miss you all, hope you are all doing well! How is Mama and Tata? I hope everything is good with them as well. But enough with the formalities, I'm writing to tell you that as of right now there is only one bunk that is empty in my cabin, all of the others have been filled! I even finally got someone to be on my top bunk! It's that crazy? I'm scared, but he hasn't bothered me about my cave yet. We haven't really talked yet, but he looks interesting. He has blue hair and isn't all that tall. I wonder what his ability is, hopefully nothing too creepy. I'm still wondering if people can make other people blow up like Aide said they could... If that is true, I hope that he doesn't have that ability. That would be really scary, and dangerous. Hopefully he can do something like go invisible, or something equal cool but safe.

So recently I learned about an ability from some of those 'True Psychic Tales' comics that you guys sent me (thanks by the way!). It's called Chlorokinesis and it has to do with plants. More specifically it has to do with plants growing and moving. That would have come in handy the other day when climbing the tree with Forrest (which by the way the bruise from that is gone now Zuzu). Anyways, I'm going to see if I cant find more information on it or find out if any of the teachers have that ability. I would be able to change and grow plants so much easier. Imagine giant carrots! I'm still not sure if we learn abilities, or if they are just in you to start with and come out over time, but either way I hope that one day I have that ability.

Well I need to go now, gotta get this letter to the office before going to do stuff (it's not secret I just don't remember what I'm going to do today). I'll let you know more about my bunkmate after I've observed him a little more, hopefully in class I'll be able to tell what kind of ability he has. Kocham cię.
