Kor just swallowed and continued to stay close with all her wriggling around. He was trying not to hyperventilate right now because his mind tended to play tricks on him when it was dark for too long. It'd been years since he'd got caught in a black out without a flashlight or his phone on him. When she pulled her phone out and blinded herself with it, Kor swallowed and slowly uncurled before the flashlight turned on. A low, slow sigh escaped him and he finally could let himself talk, throat relaxing enough to do just that. The smacks didn't bother him. Slowly, he shifted upwards to push his face into her neck and just stroked her side, the light working wonders. Light meant hope, relaxation. Still, he couldn't relax all the way because this was a small amount of light and surprises that were unwelcomed could still happen. Laine was here. If something went wrong this was on him. "S-sorry," he murmured once he was covered, voice muffled against her skin, lips and piercings brushing over carefully every time he talked. Swallowing a little bit more, his hand slid up to thumb along her jaw, just wanting that warm contact while the other stayed locked between them. "I j-just... can't deal with the dark.."

As Kor shifted, Laine's hand traveld down his back before eventually wrapping around his waist. The girl just murmured quiet things into his ear between kissing his hair line. This was second hand nature to her, having done it so many times when one of the triplets was upset about something. She hoped he diidn't think she was treating him like a kid. "Kor... It's fine. You don't have to explain." Her other hand came up to grasp and intwine with his as she kissed his knuckles. "The lights will come back on soon enough. Just close your eyes and block it out." Being treated like a child might be something he needed. Either way, he took a deep breath and just nodded at her words again. His hand just stroked her side, from arm to hip and back up again. The repetitive movements made him calm down a little more and she just nuzzled into her throat a little more, sighing deeply. "...They'd better come on soon," he whispered quietly, raising his head to her ear. He just settled again, breathing against her ear and just let himself fall into the warmth, between her and the blanket. "...I'll tell you about it, it's just not.. things to tell you in the first date." He was trying to pass this off as a joke, or something, but it fell flat when it ended on a serious note, even if he was speaking into her ear.

"Do you have any candles or anything? I can go find them if you want." Er... though on second hand maybe disappearing on Kor might not be such a good idea. "They'll come on... Just don't dwell on it." Once again she pressed a kiss to his hair line. "Kor, I already told you twice today. You don't have to explain anything to me if you don't want to. I respect your privacy enough not to pry sweetheart." She said, hugging him close. "You don't have to tell me a thing. I'll understand." Again she kissed him, laughing lightly. "Though next time we are totally getting caught in my room.. I've uh... I've got those glow in the dark stars stuck to my ceiling and the upper parts of my wall." She had even painstakingly looked up constellations and arranged stars into the various shapes as best she could. "We could totally make a night out of it.

Candles? He had tons of candles around the house. "..They're.... everywhere," he murmured after a moment of thinking. "..I just don't know where my lighter is and.. I can't think of exactly where anything is right now." Kor's brows knit lightly and pushed into her neck again, taking a deep breath before trying to relax again, a hand stroking over her stomach now, soothingly. At least, to him. It was soothing to him. Glow in the dark stars? He blinked and looked up at her, eyes adjusting to the dim lighting enough to see how young she was. With a noise, Kor rolled her on top of him and just held her by her waist again and stroked her back. She was legal but so, so young. "That sounds cool. ..If you live alone, anyway. I don't think your parents would be happy with an older guy in your room." Meeting the parents wasn't something he looked forward to doing. Looks alone he wasn't exactly family friendly. Piercings, tattoos, dreadlocks. Yep. Totally not family friendly. At least, a traditional family. "Are the lights on yet?" He sounded like a pouting kid now.

"Alright then... Just relax. We can go find it later." Laine replied, nuzzling against him. When they suddenly moved, Laine's grip tightened out of reflex having not expected to move in the first place. "....Should I take you shimmying about as a good thing or are you still agitated?" This time it was her pressing her face against his neck. Her breathing in his ear. "Mmm I love with the family remember?? They are... surprising to say the least." They still hadn't killed her in her sleep yet for the tattoo. ...Maybe they wouldn't but Laine was still suspicious. They hadn't even pitched a fit about it. "I think they would like you though." Then she laughed, kissing his neck. "No baby... Maybe soon."

He pouted when she said there were no lights still and just grumbled something low under his breath. Whatever. He'd... ...Well the doors were locked, the windows were locked, and there was a weapon by the door and one under the couch so he was fine. He'd be okay. He could protect himself and Laine if anything happened at all. Not that anything's happened in a while, but still. The kiss to his neck, however, made him squirm and nearly shy away. "....If... If you want this to be slow, you won't kiss my neck again," he whispered, looking up at her with a flush on his face that he was thankful the crappy lighting was hiding.

Laine chuckled at his antics and shook her head. " Soon. The more you focus on it, the longer it's going to feel before they do come back on." Then a thought occured to her and she leaned up a bit to look at him. "...Would you pull an all nighter if they don't come up right away?" Laine hoped that wouldn't be the case, but she knew everyonr handled things differently. The squirming and his actions were duly noted. Too fast, too soon. "Sorry." She laughed lightly though, settling against him again. "We are the definistion of the word slow." Laine teased lightly. "Tell me what's okay. What you're okay with." She didn't want to make things uncomfortable.

Kor huffed at being chided like that and just ran his lips along her neck softly as he got comfortable and stroked a hand through her hair. Or as much as he could. Those waves of shining, soft, white were helping him focus and stay calm. "Obviously we are the definition of the word slow. I just... mmmn... have a very sensitive neck? Bite me and I'm yours." It was said teasing and he just gave her a squeeze. He wasn't uncomfortable, more like... mildly turned on despite the bit of fear tingling the back of his mind. She was a very god distraction from that fear. She was warm, soft, and oddly fit in his arms in a way that was just comfortable.

Laine had to bite her lip as he huffed. "Didn't you just warn me not to do that." She laughed nuzzling him again. Not that she obviously minded. "Or is this one of those things you get to do cause 'you're an adult and I'm a kid'." Laine grinned lazily at him, despite the darkness. "Probably in the dictionary for it too." Laine murmured, trying not to giggle. Then she suddenly sprang up, almost sitting on him."Oh my god no. Do not tell me that or I will sit here and bite you all night."

"I warned you so you can pick what you want to do," he said with a low hum. He licked at her jaw now and then nuzzled into Laine's hair. At least, before she sprang upright on him and he blinked. It was as if she flipped a switch because the lights came back on when she sat up. He winced a little, staring directly at one didn't help anything at all and he just threw an arm over his face. "Okay, ow." After a few moments he looked up at her, squinting because the lights had been out for a bit and then sighed. Kor's hands dropped to her hips and just rested there before dragging her down for a hug. "So if you're tired.. well, room's at the end of the hall, mn?"

"I will do whatever you're okay with. As for what I'm okay with... Pretty much everything." She blinked widely, looking at the lights before adopting another smug grin. "See? Soon. The second you stopped worrying about it, they came on." When he sighed, Laine just quirked a brow. She responded to the hug by nuzzling back against him, wrapping her arms around him once more. "I'm not gonna take your bed hun. Are you tired?" Something seemed off though. "...Kor, are you okay? Besides the whole black out thing."

"I'm always tired," he murmured, running his thumbs over her spine before kissing her cheek. "But yes. I am tired. Thin we should call it a night? ...we can sleep in the bed together. But that's it! Just sleeping, no funny business, you monkey." He sat up after a moment and just picked the girl up, carrying her off to his bedroom. "But yeah, I'm fine. I just get all weird and panicky after black outs and... Yeah. I'll be fine after sleep. I promise." With that, he dropped her on the left side of the be while he took the right I wasn't a King bed or anything, but with how thin they both were his queen sized bed was plenty big.

Laine rolled her eyes dramatically, despite the grin on her face. "Oh I'm the monkey am I?" She said, holding on as he picked her up. "I wanna remind you that you're the one that's been hugging me like a monkey." Then she shook her head and kissed his cheek. "You've warned me once already. I know enough to behave sweetheart." When he dropped her, Laine let out a slight noise of surprise. She probably should have seen being dropped coming. The white haired girl watched him as he walked around the bed before flopping on his side. He looked tired, and she wasn't sure if that was just from the fatigue due to the black out or not. "Ready to just put the whole thing behind you?" Laine asked gently as she pushed some of his bangs out of his face. Tomorrow would be a fresh start. He wouldn't have to worry about the black out. "I'm still holding you to that awesome coffee promise you made."

Kor frowned at that and just gave a whine, rubbing his nose before taking a deep breath. Okay, so he might be the monkey, but whatever. He stood by what he said. He leaned forward and just gathered her up all over again before nosing into her hair and yawning above her head. He wasn't going to last long now that they were in his bed. He reached out and pulled his blanket over them, a hand going to rest on her hip before nodding. "Mmm.. You can have all the coffee you want. ...Just... after sleep. Go to sleep. Shush." He kissed her once and then just nuzzled against her. Sleep was already lacing his voice. He kind of passed out easily normally.
