The lights flicker off and then back on as the party passes into Room 3. When they come back, they stand in a long, bright room. Dry soil is packed into long pots at waist height, but if anything was grown there, it is long dead.
Fifty gallons of ice-cold water drop on the party from above.

Okay so, first it was goop... Ys had let out a groan as the slime had poured over him, soaking his uniform through in a way that made his skin crawl. Unable to bear the feel of it, the Saturn Page had powered down and revealed the sweat pants and beater he had been wearing when the Code had pulled him across the universe to Mistral. Slanting a glance around to make sure no one was staring at his state of undress, Ys had powered up again as his weapon appeared in his hand, long fingers adjusting the lace at his throat as it appeared clean and unslimed.
"Better step up, Mate." Ys said as he clapped the Uranus knight on the shoulder as he walked past him. "The ladies are going to leave us behind."
Grinning, Ys trailed along after Megiddo, enjoying her discomfort over the slime... right up until they entered the next room and water rained on them, once more soaking the knight through. He grimaced as he shook the water from his hands and wiped it out of his face. "Bloody hell... what's next, itching powder?" He grumbled. "Are we supposed to be doing something, or just going room to room getting dumped on? Like... what are those sodding pots for?"
After the oily goop in the last room, the ice-cold water that rained down upon their adventuring band was almost a relief. Almost. Megiddo didn't scream this time. Rather, she bore her indignity in silence, swiped water off the lenses of her glasses, and did her best to wring out her skirt. The thick wool had mercifully kept her petticoat dry - she'd be absolutely miserable, otherwise. It was heavy when it was wet.
"We're in hydroponics," she called to Ys as she peered into one of the empty pots. She'd felt the blip on her mental radar as he powered down and back up, but wasn't going to comment on it - there were bigger things going on. "It's, like, a laboratory. For growing plants. Usually just in water, though, so go figure with the soil. Maybe it's from different planets and someone was doing an experiment. Or something."
She shrugged. None of her business. There wasn't anything interesting to see in this room. Megiddo headed for the door on the far wall.
"Let's keep moving," she called to the rest of the group.

She was covered in goo. Chucky, sticky, incredibly bad smelling goo. Or oil. Most likely oil. Why was it chunky. It was also in her hood, stuck in her sleeves and trying to go down her pants. Oh that was gross so gross. Andronicus spent five minutes wiping it off of her as a loud clunk and the floor shook. Oh this was going so well. This was going so well.
"Oh I'm sure this can't get any ---"
And then fifty gallons of icy water dropped on the group.
"-- Worse."
She was cleaner, but freezing now, and the water had definitely gotten into her pants. The Page pushed her bangs out of her face and stared at Themiscrya. "I want to go home now. "
Then the lights went out.
Oh yes this was a great idea.

Room 2
Buyan followed the rest and when the cold water dumped on her, "Oh thank god." She breathed in relief it was freezing cold but it was a lot better than that ick of old hopefully oil.
"Lets follow the water sound?" She offered, "Where there's water there's a way out most of the time." The squire was trying to undo her hair. "Anyone got a light? It's kind of dark in here. Why'd the lights go out anyway? Did the power system lose it's . . . power?"
She had followed Megiddo though she paused due to the lack of light. She also wasn't sure who to ask these questions to.
As the only other guy in the group was happy to follow the lead of the others, Ashur gave an amused snort at the clap on his shoulder and went after him in silence. No hard feelings or anything, and it didn't really matter who was leading in the end; he was just hoping for something less disgusting in the next room. Assuming, of course, that there was some other unpleasant surprise waiting for them when they get there.
Ash followed along, shifting uncomfortably in his goop-soaked uniform and half considering powering down and back up again -- he did note that someone had done so, though he didn't notice who -- just to at least get his uniform cleaned up. Before he could, though, ice cold water dropped in from above just as they got into the next room. No cursing, this time, from the Squire, since he was cleaner. Just...y'know, freezing. And completely drenched down to his boots, which made gross squelching noises when he walked. Pleasant. "Lead the w--" he was about to say, then the lights went out.
"Perfect." The Squire audibly sighed and moved a little bit closer to whoever was nearby. Wouldn't it suck to accidentally get separated from the group right after the lights go out? It never ended well for that one unlucky sucker in the movies. "I'm with, uh.. whoever suggested following the water sound. 'Less someone's got a light and a better idea."
As the party feels their way to Room 2, towards the rushing water, they hear a staticky burst of what sounds like screams, overlaid by hysterical sobbing and the concerned whining of a dog. But it is only for a moment, and as they feel their way into Room 2, the lights come back on.
They are standing in the source of the rushing-water noise. A great lake of a room stands before them, overlaid with flat crystalline walkways; from the north side of the room water runs in, and from the east side it runs out. The water is so clear and so cold that the party can see directly to the bottom of its depths. Maybe forty feet below them rests a small metallic box, made of the same metal as the device Mistral Page had held up for their inspection.
Well, there it is--but how will you get to it? You may continue your explorations, venturing to Room 5 in hopes of finding treasure, or you may attempt a dive.
The page couldn't help but jump when there was suddenly a scream. However when the lights came on, Buyan looked around and gave a low impressed whistle. "Now this is impressive." She noticed.
Looking around and then down she noticed a box . . . it was rather deep below water. The page knelt and touched a finger to the water to see just how cold it was. Feeling goose bumps the moment she touched the water.
"Should one of us dive to try and get that? The water's freezing, it's like the arctic without the actual ice." She looked around, "Or maybe we should head to room five and see if we can find something to catch this with. . . Unless someone has a super strong magnet."

Heading to room 5!
Megiddo paused beside Buyan and stared down into the water. It looked deep, to say the least. "I'm not worried about being able to reach the bottom," she said. "My skirts get heavy when they're wet and I'd sink like a rock. But I don't think I'd be able to get back up, and I'm more concerned about the pressure down there. You know how it's uncomfortable to dive to the bottom of a swimming pool that's like, eight feet deep? Think about how much your ears and your sinuses would hurt at the bottom of that."
No, she quite thought no one would be diving into that water. Megiddo stared off towards the door. "I think we should go look for a control panel, or some tools, or something," she said, heading down the gangplank. "You all coming?"
Ashur looked down into the water as well, a low whistle coming from him as guessed how deep it was. And there, at the very bottom, was a little box that he figured housed whatever it was they were looking for. Ash snorted at that; of course it was at the bottom of an ice cold -- and yes, he reached down and dipped a figure in the water -- lake. Why did he even bother to hope that it'd just be lying in a room, ready for the taking?
The squire nodded at Megiddo's explanation and briefly voiced his agreement, then started after her as she headed for the next room. "Think we'll come across some kind of submarine-like contraption that can get to it?" he asked, hands going up and behind his head as he went. "Or were you thinking more like old school fishing gear?"

Room 5!
"I'd be okay with just some diving equipment I think and some old fashion fishermen's net." She shrugged, "Either way as long as we can find a way to get to the box I'm happy. Even if it takes draining the whole lake -- though I really hope we don't have to do that."
She walked behind the others and tried to peek around them to see what was in the next room. Hoping it was something semi-useful.

So they'd found it. At the bottom of a pool of icy water. "Them, this feels like that scene in Harry Potter where Harry has to strip and dive for Godric's sword," she said with a soft chuckle to the Page of Mars. She looked down at the pool then to Ashur and... what's her face... Buyan? Maybe? Andronicus, followed by Themiscrya, settled over by the side and glanced at the rest of group.
She wasn't exactly going to volunteer for the diving but if she had to do so to get out of this stupid labyrinth finally, she would.
"So no one has any pendants that will try and choke you to death if you try going for the device piece, right?" she said, attempting to crack a joke and a reference and probably failing. Probably. Most likely.
Well it was worth a shot...?

Room 5!
She was smelly. She was cold. She did not. Do. Cold. Themiscyra was a near teeth chattering mess just from the ice water dumped on them alone, fussing with her uniform and trying to get as much water out of her toga as possible--to the point she'd unpinned and unbelted it from around herself, standing only in the leather armor shift underneath. "Potter can go ******** dive for it then," was her brittle bright retort to Andronicus, trying with great pains to keep that fake smile plastered to her face. All while trying to keep her body from shivering to the extent it wanted to. Wringing more of the water from her toga, she finally deemed it suitable enough to wrap around herself as before. Not that it made much of a difference. Wet was wet was cold. Restraining herself further from cursing up a storm. The screams had sent whole new shivers down her spine.
"Anything of use in there?" she called to those already into the room, following to peer around herself. "Is there some sort of mechanism to drain the water out?" What else would make sense? A submarine would be a bit strange in here, at least in her mind. Unmanned drone, maybe?

Sorry guys! Life's really hit a nose dive for me so I'm really struggling to make time for anything but work, school, and rare sleep. I've pretty much given Scowl full permission to drag Themi along if I can't get in myself. Sorry!
You have found two device pieces--the second laying out on the long table in Room 5. There is nothing remaining to indicate what these long tables with their raised stools might have been used for, but there is a panel on the wall. A screen next to the panel depicts... what could be the water level in the reservoir.
Now you just have to find the right key to lower the water in the reservoir next door. The writing is all in the fancy script of the blueprints--and none of it is clear, even to Megiddo, who can read Hebrew.
