Kettil knew exactly how to take her mind off of her worries, and as he led her down to a street filled with houses, and they narrowly avoided a baby carriage or two, she gave him a look. "Does yeh thinks we can even doo that in this world? Like, will everything, uh.. work.." She was thinking about the logistics of it, and probably shouldn't have been. "Ach, here okay, let me looks in the windows here," She paused, pressing her face up against the glass. "No, definitely people in this one."

The look she gave him was one he returned accompanied by a smile as they dodged baby carriages and other little obstacles even if just barely. There was only one thing he could say, "I can wait until we get home if you can wait~. Anticipation just makes it more exciting."
The logistics didn't bother him at all, especially if he refused to worry about them currently.
He paused long enough to let her peek into a set of windows. Kettil moved away some steps toward another nearby home and peeked in, "...I don't think anyone is in this one..."

"Me? Wait?" Freya called out, having given up on being quiet already. "HAH! I asks yeh because I don't waits for nobody! Nowhere! No how- wait." She'd been looking in a new window as she was yelling, and she realized that the lights were off and she saw no one in it. "This one could.. possibly.. ach.. how does we -" She closed her eyes and thought really, really hard about being inside, and heard a soft click. The door had unlocked. She turned and stared at Kettil with a open mouthed proud face, and threw up both thumbs before sneaking inside.

"Hey! I am not the one that asked her husband if that sort of thing would still work out here, like he knew the answer," he stuck his tongue out at her. How would he know? This was his first (mostly) un-chaperoned outing in the realm of humans. He didn't really think to ask questions about affections and how they are affected in the world beyond Halloween.
"My first time out here, and all..." He soon quieted when she announced that she'd found 'The One' for them to invade for a time being. Kettil was glad that the door was unlocked because he didn't really want to test lockpicking skills.
He quietly followed after his wife soon after she entered.
"Hey this isn't so bad..." he muttered quietly.

"No, is really nice! I don't thinks we should touch anything unless we're tryings teh scares someone, but nobody is here so let's try not teh move anything." She said, as she walked directly into a lamp and tripped until she was falling with it beside her. Stealth was not her strength. She could hear Shun's eyes rolling from there.

"Yeah we should probably go ou--HEY...!" Kettil moved to try and save Freya from her falling but JUST missed grabbing her and so she fell. He looked down at his wife and the lamp beside her and just swallowed down the urge to laugh as he leaned and offered her his hand instead, "C'mon, screechie. Up you go."
He cleared his throat a little bit and repeated what he was trying to say, "We should probably go out scaring as soon as we're settled, ya?"

"Yeah," She muttered begrudgingly, "We should-" "WHO'S THERE!?" A gruff, surly looking young man stormed up from the basement stairs, holding a baseball bat in one hand. He was unshaven, unwashed, and looked as though he'd been wearing the same clothing for a week. His shirt said something about Mega death on it, from what it looked like, which probably meant he wouldn't be easy to scare. Or would he? He walked up to the lamp, stared at it on the floor, and then nudged it with his baseball bat. He looked.. suspicious. Freya and Kettil, standing mere inches from him, were invisible. "Or.." Freya whispered, her face brightening with mischief. "Maybe not.."

Kettil instinctively froze for a few second when the surly individual appeared with the bat. Then he remembered he couldn't be seen and relaxed. He glanced over at his wife and matched her grin and gave a small nod.
He moved quietly about trying to circle around the human and his hand reached and made a swipe at the man's arm, a breath of cold air wooshed over the human's skin, he tried to make sure he was just out of reach of a possible bat swing. Kettil was about the set up for a scare more so than he was jumping directly into it.

Freya choked down a laugh when the cold air brushed against the human and he jumped, flinging the bat exactly where Kettil had predicted it was going to swing. There was nothing there, of course, and he brushed his hand roughly against his arm to rub the goosebumps away. Then he stormed back downstairs, to return to whatever task had him so busy he refused to follow normal sanitary function. It must have been something important. The door slammed shut, and Freya burst into giggles, flopping down on the couch in laughter. "Did yeh sees his face? Priceless!"

Kettil uttered a small snort. "Thought he was gonna be a bit tougher than that." He sort of trailed after the human, but stopped short at the door where the human went through. He glanced over at Freya, "We gonna pick a new plaything or we gonna stick with him?" "Cause he does seem like fun." He said in a cheerful tone. It was sort of like Kettil was almost considering the human a cute little pet.

It took a few seconds before Freya could stop laughing enough to answer. "Oh, no, we are keeping this one. I don't even feels bad about driving him crazy. We're probably goings teh gets him out of the house for the first times in a week, by the looks of him. Is our civic duty!" She hopped up off of the couch, bounced back onto her toes, and then barrelled down the stairs. But then she stomped her way back up, and down, and up, and down, noisily enough that the man heard it - and came barrelling up himself to check the stairs. She stood in front of the doorway and watched, giggling like a child.

Kettil just let Freya go and do as she felt was right. He'd have run with her but that was just asking for injury. The moment the man made an appearance at the top of the steps Kettil found something nice and fragile and threw it at the wall next to the human's head as hard as he could.
There was a shattering sound.
As well as a shriek. Kettil certainly didn't make the shrieking sound, but he did cause the shatter.

Freya slapped both hands on her mouth when the shriek came out of him, and she watched the man stare at the shattered remains on the floor, and then promptly grab his coat, and bolt hastily out of the house. "Aaand just as planned." Freya chuckled out, before flopping down on the couch again. "Wants teh gives yehr papa a call now? We're supposed teh checks in with him. And now that we're alone, is perfect timing!"

He moved to flop over onto the couch near his wife, purposely he draped a leg over one of her legs so that he was touching her in some manner. "And here I thought you wanted to be alone for a different reason~," Kettil teased Freya with a bit of a roguish grin touching his lips.
Still, it was a good idea to call at some point.
He got out his eyephone and contacted his father. He had put it on speaker for them both.
"Y'llo?" Coyote's voice came out.
"We made it, Dad. We are doing okay so far." Kettil informed dutifully. ((1612 words))

"Well I did, I wanted to get the call out of the way so we could- HI PAPA!!!" Freya was interrupted by the sound of Kettil's fathers voice.
