She continued to play dead until he kissed her, at which point she played the perfect part of waking from the dead due to true love's kiss - and wouldn't that just have served her right to have been true, if it weren't so hilariously out of character.

She gasped, a little too dramatically to be believable, and wrapped her arms loosely around his neck. Her smile spoke volumes about how funny she found it, to be playing the role of a princess. Her. Only one thing about that scenario was actually true.

"My prince." She breathed out. "You saved me."

She pulled him down closer, her eyes lidding heavily. "Then I guess you're not kosher." Her lips pressed against his chin, and her tongue slipped out to trail a line up all the way to his lips.

"You seem irrationally happy to be in love with a ham, Otto." She reminded him, sending her fingers up into his hair. "Maybe you're not in love at all. Maybe you're just hungry."

"Oh," The word was an exhale, feigning interest and hiding arousal. "Well. I'm not as sweet as chocolate," And if that wasn't a pointed nudge towards Cami, she didn't know what was," But I'm pretty sure I can satisfy both those needs."

She leaned up to kiss him, but despite the innuendo she slid into everything she said, her kiss was filled with nothing but love.

Maebe tried to count, she really did, but her shoulders rose and fell in a shrug, because with absolute honesty; "I've lost count."
