Such a beautiful thing Demetrius Donavan Demetrius listened to her thoughts carefully and his face went back to a dull neutral look his words has the slightest bit of venom in them "I am sorry you think so poorly of me darling, perhaps your right and it best we do not talk much future" suddenly he heard Valentines words and quickly covered Anne-Drew not knowing what the danger could be but when Valentine shot the dagger and pulled it Demetrius glowered at him, it could have been much worse "you made me think it was a enemy or trap, d*** brat" he them realized he was still holding onto her, he let go and took a step away from her "sorry" then he tuned into his senses making his eyes glow slightly. "It's quite alright. I know you meant well. I do not think poorly of you either. I just question what you find humorous and don't want us to get caught...Look I...nevermind." Anne-Drew then brushed herself off and kept walking. When she caught sight of Val's disapproving look she rolled her eyes. Since no traps were triggered or alarms ring she assumed they were still in the clear.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Sorry then." No need to cause tension among their group, might as well just apologize and move on. "Well, we should keep looking for this thing." In the back of his mind, Valve was thinking about what might happen when Mistress Vandel got into that manor she was aiming for. It was possible that they might send some people after their little group. Though, they'd probably be able to deal with them easily. 'Still, this basement is huge, and the shard is pretty small. Such a beautiful thing Demetrius Donavan Demetrius smiled but only for an instant at Anne-Drew's thoughts the whole time looking ahead Demetrius then looked at Valentine and snickered softly "it is quiet alright, it's best we be wise and keep our heads" he took a deep sniff and grinned "there's blo...someone up ahead about ten feet away at our next turn" he was talking to Anne-Drew but didn't look back "it's not nearly as sweet as yours though."OOC:

"Leave it to me," Anne-Drew said summoning her shadow. With Demetrius' and Val's warnings in mind she carefully sent out her shadow and waited until the cameras had turned the other way. Once she was certain they wouldn't catch her actions she made her shadow materialize and had it strike the individual in the back of their head rendering them unconscious. She had her shadow drag the guard back out of the camera's view. Once it was safe she approached and began to search the guard. Sure enough she discovered his set of keys. Now all that was left was to find the door the shard was behind. "...Do you guys think one of these guards is carrying a map? Surely they couldn't remember the layout if this place."

"If these people were smart, they probably would only give a map to those most capable of holding it. So the chances of finding one are... slim. Though still possible." He said, looking at the guard in front of them. Yup, definitely not anybody important enough to hold a map. It was possible that they'd give a map of this place to someone who was important, like the chief of guards or somebody. "For now, I think it's best for us to just look all around. Who knows, we might find some other useful things down here while we're at it."  Dakota Faux☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆When Valentine said something about the light short-circuiting the camera, he grinned a little. "I don't see why not." Dakota replied to Val's question. At Anne-Drew's words, he nodded. He looked at the x's on the floor, carefully stepping in the safer areas of the floor. He managed to ignore the flirtatious actions of Demetrius as he pursued poor Anne-Drew. Well, he wouldn't say 'poor' if she showed that she liked it but that appeared to not be the case. At her question, Dakota nodded. "Yep!" He exclaimed happily as he conjured up another sphere of sparks, preparing to send it towards the camera. He stopped himself when Val threw it at another camera, giving a guilty shrug. "Oh, so now they know my face--how lovely~ Who knows, maybe I'll be famous!" Dakota chuckled, unsure of whether he was joking or not. Well, he could have been joking but a part of him really wished that were so. He then send the sparks towards a different camera and waited for Val to throw his knife if that's what they were continuing to do. If not then maybe it would short-circuit it again. But maybe that was too much of a risk to rely on. Dakota looked to Demetrius whose reaction was, in his opinion, a little harsh but that was just who he was. He shrugged at Anne-Drew's question on whether or not anyone had maps. It was possible, although probably not likely. "Should we make like Scooby-Doo and 'split up, gang' so we cover more ground?" He questioned, proud of his cartoon reference. "It could make it a bit easier... Or harder. Who knows."☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆(Sorry guys! Busy weekend. '^^ Edit: I DIDN'T FINISH. gonk )

Such a beautiful thing Demetrius Donavan Demetrius looked away from the man Anne-Drew had just took out "we seem to each have a particular asset to help say safe, it would be unwise to split up" he shook his head "I don't know how people can spend hours melting their brains watching that stuff" he snickered thinking perhaps that's the reason Dakota's the way he is his nose crinkled again, the explosive powder smell was getting stronger. Demetrius looked at Anne-Drew "Dearest, can your shadow find doors or should I resort to sniffing the key's to try and find where the sent leads, though there are probably many scents on them."OOC:

"I can find doors. The only issue is the cameras may detect the movement. If we do happen to spilt up I can't keep marking x's on the ground either unless I were to manipulate four shadows at once. It's possible but very taxing and I'd be defenseless." Anne-Drew remarked. "Judging from the way you're crinkling your nose Demetrius we must be getting close to gunpowder. So were nearing a gun or a bomb. Both are deadly in their own way. I can find doors and attempt to see learn what is them, but the farther I am from the shadows I am controlling the more draining it is and the less they can do."

They would definitely cover more ground by splitting up... though Demetrius had a point about each having something vital to staying safe and quiet. It would be most convenient if they could get one light and one shadow user on each team, but that meant that Demetrius and Anne-Drew would be split up. While Anne might not mind it, Demetrius would probably fight a bit. And if they put Demetrius with Dakota, there would obviously be fighting. Which would leave Val with Demetrius... wait, why was there concern about that? "...I think we should split up into two groups. We should be able to find the shard faster that way. The mission was to get the shard and report back as quickly as possible, without arousing too much suspicion." He said after a moment. It would be up to the other two to decide if we would stick together and find the shard, or split into groups. Though, to Valve, it would be more efficient to split into groups.
When Anne said her part about splitting into groups, Val nodded. "You wouldn't be alone, you'd be with Demetrius Dakota or myself. ...Though, I suppose if you two are uncomfortable with the idea it's fine. We'll just keep going like we have been." He said, retrieving his dagger from the camera. "...Gunpowder? Well, I guess there could be worse things. Just tell us if you smell any poisonous gas leaking in, then we'd have trouble." He said. Yeah, if there was any poisonous gas leaking in, they'd be in a load of trouble. Granted, they were under the school, and the place had plenty of gaps for the gas to get into the school, so it was unlikely that they'd do that. But hey, you never know. Val did wonder what they used gunpowder for... bombs and guns seemed likely, though that'd mean someone might be controlling them. Such a beautiful thing Demetrius Donavan There was a low grumble; almost a growl that came from Demetrius when he heard Valentine mention splitting up, he knew because his and Anne-Drew's assets they both had sensory type aspects which meant they would have to be split up. It made him more angry when Anne-Drew mentioned using her powers to a further extent would leave her defenceless or in a weakened state but he kept his mouth closed because he knew he'd make her upset with him, trying to treat her like damsel in distress, he kept his face straight "I haven't picked up any traces of any type of poison or gas yet" he grimaced at the thought of Dakota being alone with Anne-Drew not only did he dislike his behavior but had a reputation with being a flirt, he and Valentine in his open basically had their hands all over each other earlier another grumble left his lips. OOC:

Dakota Faux☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆Dakota grumbled some sort of incoherent nonsense to himself at Demetrius' response. "I only know the show from my childhood, Monsieur Connard-visage." He snapped back, name-calling in French and not in the best of moods. Especially not in one to deal with his sass. When Anne-Drew said something about marking x's and not being able to if they were to split, he thought for a moment. "Perhaps if we pair off a shadow user and a light user, we would be fine. Between Demetrius' nose and your capabilities, each group would be alright. We'd just have to be careful." He thought aloud. Dakota nodded at Val's comment. It was the whole reason why he'd suggested it in the first place, to finish this up as quickly as possible. When the smell of gun powder and such was mentioned, he gave a slight frown which only increased when poisonous gas was brought up. Oh he didn't like the sound of that very much... Not at all. He thought of which would be better, being with Demetrius or being with Anne-Drew. He didn't mind either, really. Well, he didn't like Demetrius very much but in terms of abilities, he was fine with either. Although, he didn't like the idea of Val having to suffer through Demetrius' nasty attitude. Or perhaps he was being too harsh... Or too worried about his dearly loved hug-buddy. "Alright, so it's settled, yes? We'll split up by shadow and light in each pair so how about Demetrius and I in one group and Valentine and Anne-Drew in another, hm?" Dakota suggested, grinning at Demetrius with a pleasantly sweet smile which could be easily described as also unpleasant and evil-intentioned. ☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆(Lol Dakota is pretty much obsessed with Val, I think. xD)

Valve had never watched much TV, not even when he was younger. So he really didn't know what they were referring to with this show. Aaand he didn't speak French or whatever language Dakota was speaking either, so he could only imagining what he was calling him. Though, he assumed it was an insult. "...That would work." He said, in response to Dakota's plan of having one light and one shadow in each group. When he said the groups would be Dakota and Demetrius, and Anne and himself, Val shrugged. "As long as you two can get along." He said, looking at the X's around them. Were these really all of the safe places? Dang, they booby-trapped this place good. "That alright with you two?" Anne-Drew simply nodded allowing her shadow to split in two. "If you find the shard or need us just step on my shadow or think of a life preserver. I will still try to mark x's, but they won't be as visible...Are you sure the both of you can get along?" Anne-Drew asked knowing the two didn't exactly see eye to eye on many things. She didn't trust the smile on Dakota's face and knew all too well the sound of Demetrius' grumbling. Anne-Drew twirled the keys around her fingers as she began to think again. "Perhaps it also would be wise to gather intel from some of the guards. Maybe they know more than we're giving them credit for."
