Molly looked so sorry about knocking Evan down that he couldn't have been mad at her even if it had been something to get mad about--if anything, now he felt guilty for teasing her. Karma made itself known almost immediately as Molly's flailing caused her to smack him once again. "It's o--" kay, he was going to say as he took the hit, raising his own weapon more in defense than retaliation. Unfortunately for both of them, the teeth of Evan's sword got tangled in some of the curvier parts of Molly's lance. He managed to shake his weapon free, but not without hitting Molly. He winced as he rose to his feet, feeling regret on top of the guilt. "Sorry, are you okay?" This was totally not like cutting butter at all. HP: 11/50 Damage: 11 wat Charge: 3/3; 1/1, 1/1

Molly let out a yelp as Evan ended up whapping her without intentionally meaning to. She then let out a slightly nervous giggle. "Th-that's alright! AH, yes! I'm okay! Are you okay!?" This may have been one of the most...unsparry-spars ever. Possibly. While checking to make sure the other was okay, they were damaging each other. HP: 28 / 50
DMG: 3
Charge: 2 / 3 ; 1 / 2 spent

"Yeah, yeah, we're good," Evan replied, nodding encouragingly at Molly. The built up Fear from his weapon's charge manifested as a soft, lurid red light around the teeth--it was weird, and it was different than their other charge, and they didn't use it often, mostly because it didn't seem to do much. Still, they didn't seem to be doing much without it, either. HP: 8/50 Damage: the bite - absorb 0 hp for the next round grate jobCharge: 0/3; 1/1, 0/1

Molly beamed back at Evan, one hand over her chest. "Oh, good!" She breathed, relieved, and then raised her weapon. She then charged the other trainee after his seemingly charged attack, and pierced his shield with a hard thrust of her weapon. HP: 28 / 50
DMG: 9
Charge: 3 / 3 ; 1 / 2 spent

Evan saw the massive lance coming his way, but it was like being stuck in the tracks facing an oncoming train: there wasn't much he could do but brace himself and prepare for the worst. It didn't do much good. Molly's attack crashed through his shield as if it wasn't even there, staggering him a few steps back as Gir yelped frantically in his head and flickered in his hand. "Okay," Evan said with a rueful grin as Gir finally gave it up and returned to his totem. "I think we're done here. You win, Ma'am."

Molly let out a surprised sound, and as soon as Evan's weapon returned to his totem form, her's did as well. The trainee took in a deep breath, smoothed out the front of her coat, and then clasped her hands over her stomach. "Thank you so much, Evan!" She exclaimed, her eyes nearly sparkling at the man. "Are you feeling alright!?"

"Anytime," Evan replied, waving off Molly's enthusiastic gratitude. Maybe not any time; he'd need a lot of time to recover and prepare and maybe train especially for combat against big-a** lances before he'd dare to take her on again. "I'll be fine. Are you okay?" She looked a lot better than he felt, and he hadn't hit her very hard at any point during their spar. "Are you sure you're not secretly a Sun?" Evan teased. "Because if you're not, you should be."

"Oh, anytime you want as well!" She eagerly returned, beaming up at him. "I'm great! Thank you for asking--Ah..." She smiled sheepishly and shook her head. "No, I'm a Mist, I promise...but if I wasn't, Sun would be the division I'd want to be in!" But Mist 4 Lyfe. She blushed a bit. "I'm flattered you think so, though!"

Molly was just too too adorable. "Well, if ever you decide to switch divisions, I'm sure we'd all be happy to welcome you." A tiny little thing like her who hit like a truck? The monsters would never see her coming. She'd be Deus's secret weapon.
