"'Ey, brah. Not all sittin' around," the Sun laughed as he plucked the bag of snacks out of Ever's hand. They would eventually get polished off by him, just not right this second. "We got duties and work, ya? Maybe you and me should have a spar sometime, so you don' go wasting away sittin' around." Milo jested, giving Ever a light punch in the shoulder.
There was another small breath of laughter before the brunet turned a glance at the water breaking upon the shore, "oh yeah, tentacles. Mermaids and sharks too." Stated oh so casually, like they were a simple matter of fact. "But, I think some people still swim, just gotta be careful, ya know?"

"I'm a third rate swimmer." He shook his head: maybe not the best idea, then, for Ever to dive in, with the added risks. Not like he had a swimsuit anyway. He puffed out a breath, standing now and swatting at the seat of his pants and his knees as he did. The dust stuck, but it was a valiant effort all the same. "I'm going to find somewhere to wade, but yeah, find me anytime." He shrugged as he peered down at Milo. "I'm not great at the sparring, but that just means I should d it more, perhaps..."

It was funny how many people didn't seem to know how to swim here (or at least well), despite - apparently - signing up to work on an island. Maybe it was because of the dangers that lurked in the depths that didn't make it a requirement, but Milo still would have imagined that it would have been a good thing. He at first simply gave Ever's comment a small snort of laughter as the other hunter got up.
"I'll take ya up on that, brah." He grinned, tilting his head upward and giving Ever a slight nod. "We can see about a spar and maybe even gettin' you in better swimming shape, ya?" Hm... spar in the ocean, that just seemed like a great idea about now (was classic like Kamen Rider too, brawl in the ocean. Getting into those feels, becoming bros. Awesome).
"Try not to get too far out there, or ya know.. call for help if you find anything interestin'." Or the other way around. "Awesome to meetcha, Ever." He apparently was staying put, but at least held out a hand to shake in parting.and be blue finally, a tag after years!

Ever'd take it with a brief flash of a grin, his handshake careful this time, slow and a little less absent. As he let go, he flicked Milo a salute that suited him much better, and then snatched up his boots again to take off down the beach: not running, but toes crunching solidly through the sand.
