Sabrewolf123 He who dares..."Yumi!" Jason yelled as he saw the aberrant titan grab her. He reacted without thinking, activating the hooks on his 3D gear and plunging them into the giant's back. He leaped off his horse and into the air, landing hard on the titan's back. But he had forgotten to factor in the additional momentum from the speeding giant and his cables swung around the monster, dragging him off its back and around to its front. So much for an easy kill.. Still, he wasn't about to give up. He released his cables from its back and began to slide down its front. Just before he fell to the ground and got stomped he shot his cables again, sending them into the giants arm. He pulled himself up and ran along the side of its arm, reaching Yumi just as she was about to disappear into the beasts maw. He ran forward, already slashing at its fingers before he reached Yumi, getting to her just as the fingers separated from its hands. He jumped forward and caught her, falling down with her between the giants legs and onto the ground.  WINS

The disgusting breath of the Titan fills Yumi's nostrils causing the girl to want to vomit. Just before the Titan drops the girl into its mouth it lets out a loud scream as it's arm gets cut deep and then fingers cuts off. Hot steam starts to float into the air as the Titan continues crying loudly in pain as it regenerates. The next thing the Titan knows is that it's falling back (not sure if it would fall back or forward or what....and I'd rather not test it on someone ^.^'''''). Yumi opens her eyes feeling the Titan's grip loosen only to see Jason catching her before falling between the Titan's legs and onto the ground. Steam blows in the wind as the giant's body continues to regenerate. Maemi lands on the ground after her attack and looks back at the giant on its back. Great this is going to make it harder to kill. Other soldiers stand by keeping the supply carts safe. Although some would think they would help, their job is to guard the supply carts. If the supply carts were to be destroyed the mission would be an automatic fail. "Guys! We can't kill it with it on it's back! Either someone needs to keep it's attention and someone sneak under the area of its neck and kill it or we need to get it to turn over or something," shouts Maemi. Meanwhile, Yumi's eyes remain wide with shock after what had happened. She grips onto Jason tightly still terrified that she came so close to death but upon hearing Maemi shouting she closes her eyes and shakes her head trying to clear her head to focus. "Thank you," she says quietly to Jason as she lets go of him to hold her head trying to clear her head. As she tries to focus her mind it still remains a bit clouded with fear. It doesn't help that they stand right before the giant Titan. "We have to get r-rid of it," she says nervously knowing that they all will be safer with it gone. Before anyone could answer Maemi the Titan starts moving again. It rolls onto it's side moaning and groaning as its regeneration reaches 30% completion. Seeing a hint of the monster's neck Maemi decides to take her chance and kill it. Her hooks shoot out locking the hooks on the Titan's neck bringing Maemi towards the giant thing at a quick speed. By the time she reaches the Titan's neck it's on its stomach allowing Maemi to land on its neck. She shoots the wires down into the skin below her allowing her to maintain more balance. The Titan feels these hooks and groans as it lifts a hand to grab the small pest on its neck. Maemi lifts her swords and slash it's neck causing hot blood to splash out and immediately start steaming away. Maemi slides down onto the ground and runs towards Jason and Yumi. "Hey! Girl!...Yumi's your name right? You ok?" she asks placing a hand on her back kneeling down beside her. Yumi simply nods her head staring at the Titan's slowly disappearing body. Maemi looks at Jason and smiles. "You and that other guy did a good job cutting her free," she comments before standing back up. "That was some great teamwork you guys and thanks to that we didn't lose a comrade! Let's keep moving!" she yells taking charge a bit since it appears none of the Captains or Lieutenants are with them.

I went out back, and I got my
gun...  Blaize looked back to see another man, Jason he believed, catch the girl as the Titan dropped her. He would turn back to help finish it off, but as soon as he turned to shoot back, the titan was already on the ground and steaming in its death throes. So much for that, he thuoght, though he wasn't too unhappy. The girl was safe, and the Titan was dead, so even if he didn't get the kill it was no big deal to him. He did what he could, and that was what mattered at the end of the day. With that out of his mind, he returned to his horse and joined up with the others. "I'm glad to help out however I can." He responded to Maemi's acknowledgement. Seeing as Maemi seemed to be the one in charge at the moment, he looked to her. "Where should we keep going from here?"
I said, "You haven't met me,
I am the only son." Mood: Relieved, curious

╔════════════════════════════ The only thing Luna could see is the field ahead of her, be she could her the titan chasing her. Each step bringing it closer to her when the rumbles had stop, she expediently turned blizzard around to join the group. "Is any one hurt!" she called out. Her eyes trailed over the group, which look to be OK. One of them was in panic but that was all. Hearing the command she flipped her horse around and returned to her position, far ahead and left of the cart. ════════════════════════════╝

Maemi looks over at Blaize and smiles. "Well, I remember Cooper saying that there'll be two large groups or something. The one that goes along the waterway and the one that goes through the fields. We're the ones going through the fields so we just need to make it to the wall of Wall Maria and hopefully by then the other group will be there. I think we all go to Shiganshina then," she replies before whistling a single high note then a single low note. Moments later her horse comes running up to her and the black haired soldier climbs up onto the saddle. Hearing Luna, Maemi smiles, "No one seems hurt although Yumi might be in a bit of shock with her near death experience," she replies. Maemi looks down at Yumi only to see the girl shake her head. She doesn't want anyone to be worried about her. She knows she'll be fine. She just needs to....take a deep breather for a moment. "Let's go people! We can't stay here too long. If the other group reach the wall before us we don't want them to think we died out!" Hearing Maemi speak Yumi slowly stands up and calls for her horse before looking back at Jason. "Thank you very much for saving me," she says to him before looking at Blaize. "And you, thank you as well." Yumi's horse gallops behind her and Yumi climbs up.  In this world turned to ashes.... .....I certainly dream we weren't so finite.

The Titan was killed, these soldiers were truly amazing. She spoke loud and clear "I will accompany your group till the end you never know when you'll need an extra hand." speaking to the leader of the entire group who ever it was. She looked over at the corpse- wait should a monstrosity like even be called a corpse...It isn't an animal or human.. whatever.. then she set her focus forward. "She has a point. We should keep moving forward.."

He who dares...Jason nodded at Yumi when she thanked him. "Yeah, no prob," he said, then laughed slightly as he realized what he had just said was "No problem": Climbing over at Titan and getting near its mouth. He turned and whistled to his horse as Yumi did the same and turned to look back at her before they climbed up. "Let's get through this mission," he told her, reaching forward and wiping off one of her tears with the cuff of his sleeve. He got up on his horse and looked around. Fortunately that seemed to be the only titan for the time being. And even more fortunately no one died. Jason wheeled his horse around and begin to follow the group again. They still had a ways to go before they reached that wall. He had appreciated Maemi's compliment: they were doing well so far. He looked over at Blaize and gave him a nod. They'd have to work together to make it through this. WINS

╔════════════════════════════ Luna smiled happily after being informed that no one was hurt. "That's good! I'll stay up here and keep an eye out for more of them." She calls back. Looking forward again her eyes glare determinedly a head into what could only be miles of field, if a single titan approached they would be able to see it from a long ways away. She nodded to her self they wouldn't get close to them again this time. Smiling she scanned the land again and again so she wouldn't miss anything out in the distance. ════════════════════════════╝

gun... Blaize nodded, looking up and grinning as his horse trotted over with the others. He re-mounted it, and grinned. "Sounds like a plan. Let's stop standing around like dead fish and get to the wall." He turned, waiting for Maemi or one of the others to lead on. "Maybe we can beat those Military Police slowpokes going along the Eastern Waterway to Wall Maria and show them who's the real bosses out here!" He smiled sheepishly at Trisha. "No offense!"

Trisha tightened the reins of her horse causing him to trot up to Blaize "It's Blaize right?" she inquired to the solider "You're right. They are slow I can't stand a single one of them they always goof off not doing a damn thing Only reason I joined the MP was to change its reputation but its highly unlikely I'll accomplish that goal. Actually they might get mad at the fact I didn't stay with them.." she turned to the boy and smiled "But I could care less. Anyway so whats going on can you fill me in?" She said boldly looking out to the open fields there were trees scattered about and their gear is definitely useless out here, No wonder its considered a graveyard. Simultaneously she gripped her leather rein I'm gonna kill those blasted things

Yumi rides a yard or two away from Jason keeping her eyes forward and focused occasionally taking a quick glance in his direction while Maemi proudly rides in front excited to face their next obstacle. "J-Jason," calls Yumi over the sound of the horses and the other chatter among the soldiers. "I...I just want to say....that...that I'm sorry about before," she says referring back to the Titan that had almost eaten her. Although it was out of her hands of what that Titan did she still feels guilty that she got caught by it making her comrades risk their lives to save hers risking all of their lives in the process. Overhearing Blaize and Trisha's conversation, Maemi slows down a bit to ride next to them. "So you hope to change the reputation of the Military Police too, huh?" she asks. "That's going to be pretty hard. I was talking to your Captain earlier and he seems.....rather.......I don't know what the word I'm thinking about but the closest thing I can say is fishy. He seems like he's in the corruption as well," states the black haired Scout. "The best way to change the Military Police is through power and it seems like the only way to get power in there is through corruption. It's like a never ending cycle wouldn't you say?"

gun... Blaize smiled, laughing lightly at the woman's words and nodding. "Blaize it indeed is. And yeah, it's kind of a lost cause....that Musei fellow seems intent to change that, and maybe he can, but then you've got people like that green-haired girl, who are only out for themselves, and think themselves to be the center of the world. They're the people that makes the Military Police resistant to good change." He paused, looking towards the woods, making sure to keep alert. "Despite it's name, the Military Police isn't there for protecting the people. They're the King's private army, to be blunt. They do what the king wants, not what the people needs...if that makes sense. If you want to protect people, I'd go with the Garrison. They're the real guardians of the people you know." He smiled lightly at Trisha, then pointed in the general direction of Wall Maria. "Our objective is to head out to Wall Maria, then meet up with the others coming along the waterway. THen we'll be heading together down south to Sangrishina."
At Maemi's words, Blaize shrugged, and nodded. "Yeah. I mean some can accuse me of biasing, especially since I spent most of my younger days fleeing from the Military Police, but honestly, in my opinion, they're just a bunch of lackeys with the King holding their leash. They don't change because the King sees no reason to. And you can bet your a** he probably has a bunch of shady-a** deals and missions for them. No sense trying to uncorrupt something that is purposely corrupted." He rolled his shoulders, looking back at Trisha. "Unless you're part of one of those shady deals or have any big secrets, I wouldn't worry too much about leaving. Just submit your transfer request to Musei, I'm sure he'll clear you." Blaize smiled, hoping no one asked about wh he'd be fleeing from the MP's. Hopefully they'd make up their own opinions on the matter, like he was a thief, or a serial killer, or something.

"Chhh. You're daamn right about that.." she said to the black haired scout. "I swear, I want to get out of their so bad..but I can't just give up on them besides..unless they need me I just go and do what I want helping people behind Wall Rose.." she spoke looking between the two soliders. Then she realized something "Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Trisha Nivea Of the Military Police, but you already knew that.." she said with a nervous giggle. Soon they came in contact with the woods a slight relief rushed over her body. Now there are trees and if things get hairy they can use their 3DMG gear. "You know my Father was a Scout, No wonder he loved it so much I get a rush just being out here Maybe I will transfer." she said to Blaize and then she started talking about the mission "Is this just another killing spree?" she said bluntly.

"Nice to meet you Trisha. I'm Maemi Jaegar of the Scouting Legion.....Well...it's kind of obvious I'm a Scout but hey it's fun to say," she chuckles happily. "I feel like everyone would get a rush out here," replies Maemi looking up at the tress surrounding them. Although there are trees around them they aren't too tall and there aren't many of them so it's not really considered a forest. Though there is a forest of Giant trees in there path (I'll signal when). "But even if you get a rush out here it's if you can handle all the Titans which determines if you can be a Scout or not." Overhearing Maemi say this causes Yumi to bite her bottom lip and avert her eyes to the side not being able to face anyone at the moment. She then spots a few Titans farther away from them. A single 7 meter class. Yumi pulls out the flare gun and fires a red smoke gun which shoots up past the short tree tops. Thankfully this Titan is alone and is a small one meaning that they can avoid it. As the red flare fires up other soldiers and the supply carts move away from it as Yumi does the same. Maemi sees the flare and starts moving away from it trying to spot the Titan seen. In this world turned to ashes.... .....I certainly dream we weren't so finite.
