It was probably the most amazing thing he'd ever seen, the arm of the Metal Mara falling to the sand and it encouraged Merikh to start forward, eager for the end of this battle. He was going to finish this one off, take its head, and then he was going to get a bit of a rest. There was an oasis not too terribly far from here and it was one that he was going to enjoy to its fullest. He'd drink deeply of the water, sit in the shade under the palm trees, and eat some of the dried rations that they had in their packs. Once he was refreshed, then sure, he'd continued on with the hunting of Mara, but that break was going to come first... once he'd taken this one out at least.
Hefting his sword up, hating how heavy it felt at the moment, Merikh made a few more attacks against the creature, aim for it's neck. It dodged the first few blows, but finally, after what felt like an eternity of trying, the Metal Mara's head was lopped off and it landed with a dull thud in the sand nearby. The body didn't even have time to crumple to the ground before the blue soul within it fled, leaving the broken down body behind. He didn't bother to follow its path, nor did he give its body another glance. Instead he sheathed his sword, grabbed up the Mara's head, and walked toward Yolana, "See, Yoyo? I told you I could do it." He said, giving her a cocky grin despite his apparent exhaustion, "Come on, we are going to go and take a little break at the oasis before we start out hunt anew."
The Oblivionite woman gave a nod of her head, scooping up their packs, as well as some of the heads, Merikh taking the others, and the two of them were soon making their way to the oasis for some much needed R&R.
