I guess that's one of the problems when you get too wrapped up in supporting an issue. You tend to lose sight of the people. I didn't even realize it until reading that article. To me, being pro-life gradually stopped being actually concerned with the well-being of the child and its family and began being about Constitutionality and Roe v. Wade. That makes for a heck of a wake-up call.

It's definatly very much still for the wellbeing of the child, but alot of people now thing making it illegal would be the best way to protect the child. I guess when we get too caught up in legality it can look rather calous though.

I can relate to this story. That is my justification for being pro-life. I almost had a child and lost him, which affected me deeply. I can only imagine how it would have felt if the mother had decided to kill him on purpose, and I could do nothing to stop her.

It only goes to show, abortion can ruin more then one life... I haven't really thaught of what abortions do to the fathers either... I don't think I could ever cause the one I love that much pain.
