"It's boring to hit training dummies...I prefer the real thing." With a grin, he activated his gun and shot a magnet at Proto's shield. All red and white like that, was it his fault it looked like a giant target?

"...What do you think you are doing?! I am your GENERAL, not a damned TRAINING DUMMY. Release me." Proto was back to snarling, straining against his bonds to get at Magnet.
Curse his shield for being so friggin heavy. He didn't usually notice it, but now with it holding him against the wall it was hard to miss.

"Hmm....maybe. Have you had sufficient time to reconsider my living arrangements?" Setting one of the e-tanks he'd brought with him on the ground, Magnet popped open the second. He removed his mask and took a long drink before lowering it and flashing Proto a grin.

"I already told you if you want a different room you have to talk to Wily. I have nothing to do with living arrangements and you KNOW this."
...Oh man, he could really go for an E-tank right now. Tail poofed out in annoyance, Proto glared so hard at Magnet.
Not that the other could tell, thanks to his glasses.

"Yeah yeah. He just rambles on about his precious computers. If they were so precious, he should build them better!" Magnet growled. "However if you were to ask...." the robot master trailed off with a significant glance at the general.

"He would wonder why I am -wasting my time- asking him for room arrangements when I should be training the lot of you to actually be friggin USEFUL."
Proto just kept GROWLING.

Ignoring the jibe, the robot master pressed on. "There's an e-tank in it for you. Oh yes...and freedom of course." Magnet waved his half-filled can in Proto's direction.

"That is a half full e-tank." Proto could hear the liquid rattling around. It was hardly enough to give him a bit of a charge. It wasn't worth giving in to Magnet's demands for that little bit of juice.
....He would like to be -free- though.

A tough negotiator. "Hmm....fine. A whole can then. Magnet picked the second can off the floor and shook it so he could hear it was full. "Deal?"

His internal systems gave a small noise, quite similar to a fleshy's tummy rumbling. Proto was low on energy, and quite hungry. That full e-tank was extremely tempting.
...Besides, he could -say- he was going to talk to Wily and not actually do it, right? "Yeah sure, whatever. Just let me go!"

Magnet studied his captive a long moment. If only there was some way to assure himself that Proto was going to talk to Wily. Alas, he and phones didn't get along so well and he doubted Wily would come down himself at his behest. "You'd better talk to him!" With that last empty threat, Magnet set the can on the ground, fired a second, demagnitizing, shot, and ran for his life. Hopefully Proto wanted the e-tank more than he wanted Magnet dead.

Proto's shield clattered loudly to the floor and the General himself pulled away from the wall. Argh -finally-. His joints were stiff from being stuck in that position for hours. Ugh.
Luckily for Magnet Proto didn't feel like giving chase. Instead, he stretched a bit, snagged up that E-tank, and went on his way.
Hell no he wasn't going to talk to Wily. But he sure was going to kick Magnet's a** next time he saw him.
