Nolei was taken back a little when he said about wanting to die. "Well of course not. I mean I have way to much to still do." Food however sounded like a great idea. "So food then adventure, we are agreed on that?" He reached out his hoof and lay it on Ash's shoulder. "What we waiting for then?"

Ash flinched at the touch, He'd only been touched by the occasional two legger, usually when they were pushing him back out to sea because he'd accidentally gotten stuck on the beach...
"Follow me!" He turned over quickly and then dove, swimming at a pretty fast clip. Through patches of tall kelp out into the sea, every once in a while he'd look back to see if Nolei was keeping up... He sprinted ahead a little faster... just past the entrance of a cave... when he was sure he'd confused Nolei, he hid just behind a rock... and waited...
a smile crossed his face, he would scare his new friend as a joke...
Nolei tried to hurry to catch up to Ash. He swam fast through the kelp but seemed to have lost him around the caves. "Ash!" He called out to him hoping he hadn't just lost the first and only friend he made. Slowing down he swam around the areas now wondering if something had taken ash. "Ash.." he called out again a little quieter as not to alert whatever 'took ash'.

Ash waited Till Nolei swam past him.... then he reached out and tugged his long flowing main.... Quickly he let it go and shouted "RAAAAAAWWWRRRRRR" .... and waited for the reaction to come... Ash was likeing this "making friends" thing, he wished more soquili were like his new friend, understanding of his color, and appreciating it!
Nolei ignored the tug on his main thinking it had got caught up in some seaweed or coral, but the roar on the other hand caught him way off guard. He shot up through the water and screamed out in terror trying to swim away fast. "ASHHHH!" He cried out his new friends name. "I'm sorry buddy." He called back toward the sound. "I never meant to get you eaten!"

Ash started laughing so hard he turned upside down... after he collected himself, he swam after his friend...
"NOLEI... !" ... he chuckled "Nolei, I'm not eaten... " he swam faster trying to catch up...
Hearing a voice Noleani slowed just a little to stop the rushing of the water around his ears so he could listen. Was that Ash? He asked himself in his head. He slowed a bit more looking back now. Then he heard him saying he wasn't eaten. Without even thinking Nolei turned quickly and rushed toward his friend bumping into him and nuzzling. "Oh god I thought it ate you Ash." He cried out in relief.

Ash chuckled "No, I was just trying to play a joke. I'm sorry I did not think it would scare you like that" ... he swam around his friend "are you ok? do you need a minute?"
Blushing a little when he realized it was just a joke Nolei look to the side and shook his head. "No I am fine. I just thought you where hurt." After a few though it fully set in that Ash had played a awful joke on him and he playfully pushed his freind. "That was evil." He cried out. "You do know I will have to get you back now some how." He grinned at ash.

He swam around Nolei slowly, debating what to say next ....

Nolei nodded to ash as he moved around him. "Oh i will accept that challenge then. Just remember to watch your back." he gave a playful smile to him and then nodded toward the ocean floor. "Lead the way, just you know, try to stay with me."
