The hearing test came first, which was of no issue to him, the tuning fork was easy to pick up on. No note-able color blindness was evident, nor did he need glasses. Stripped down to his briefs he stood still while making sure to sand up straight when asked. The measuring tape had him at 5'3" even. The scale came next, 118lbs. He scowled slightly at the low number, but the woman assured him with time he'd put on muscle weight. She shrug jotting the results down. Alec was fairly adept at hand eye coordination and easily could preform any simple task asked of him be it following movement, or arranging and stacking things. Last came the bleeding test, which he wrinkled his nose at the blood pricking but wasn't overly afraid, nor concerned about bleeding.
All that being said Alec was being handed more paperwork. Luckily the woman had over heard he had issues with reading and simply gave him a quick run down. The attendant explained what was expected of him, of obeying orders, duties to preform, consequences one might face when disobeying, liability, and conditions for being discharged. Once he indicated he understood everything being expected, Alec was handed his uniform which he redressed in.
"Alright, last thing kid. You need to know how to salute." The woman lifted her fist, clenching it before properly holding the closed palm over her heart. Alec was quick to follow, standing at attention. This seemed to satisfy the recruiter who nodded, lowering her stance. " At ease. Go hand this to the guy out front and I'll grab your friend. Youre good to go." The little shout of excitement followed as he bounced back into the main room, re-joining the two familiar faces after handing over the final paperwork.
"Good luck!" He smiled at his friend, knowing she didnt really need it but figured it couldn't help to boost her confidence. He felt about a whole foot taller dressed in uniform he had to admit. (even if that was silly)
