Billy was judging. He was judging hard. Especially you, Cherry. But don't mind him. BIlly is just an a** some....most of the time. Though his thoughts on the subject were quite similar to Angeliki's, but with a dash more....assholian.
More people arrived, and he seemed at least vaguely content with the turn out. He was about to go grab the mugs as directed when Bjorn made an appearance. His was a name that Billy had at least heard before. A friend of Ladon's. It made him pause momentarily as he considered a more personal greeting, but then he waved the idea off for later, and went to grab the mugs as originally intended.
All in all he was keeping quiet, casual presence. Both as a civilian and as a Negaverse agent, he was an observer, a tactician. He was taking mental notes. Again, judging. It may have made him seem more removed from the on-goings than others.

"...It's Laine.." She murmured quietly with a frown as she watched the other girl practically bounce after the blonde woman that had addressed them. Laine cast another glance towards Richard before slowly following after the perkier woman. Oh well.. There would be time for talk later. Laine had to do a double take as she spotted the man who had just walked in because holy whoa. The white girl shook her head. No! Focus damn it!
The young girl took off after Cherry and the blonde haired woman before digging in the boxes for some teapots. "How many do we need you think??"

Lianna - Lt. Empressite
Orders. Something to do.
In general, in situations like this, Lianna was happy to find others to tell her what was needed, and what she should do. So the order - go find glass jars - was something she could do.
'Yes, ma'am.' She nodded in acknowledgment of the order and turned to head to the store room. There were labeled boxes. Surely one of those held what was needed. It was just a matter of sorting through the boxes.
It might be tedious. It might feel more than a little pointless. But it was something she could do.

Turning his attention from his hunt, he really should have made notes on where things where, and his eyes focused on the strong man. "A promotion, that's good." Smiling brightly at the larger blond. He was glad to hear of the others promotion, as he was sure it was well earned. "I'm sure you deserve it all and will do well as both a Captain and as an employee here. I've no doubt of how good you'll do as both."
Well, it seemed the other was lucky, where he was not, and found the paper towels. "Well, it seems I should perhaps make some small list, or something, so I know where I put everything." Even if he had the boxes labeled it would make it faster if there was some sheet, almost like a map, telling where everything was.
"Yes, I have been working hard and i did indeed stack all these. it took some time." It was why they didn't stack all that high, he wasn't tall enough to do so. "Perhaps we can arrange to hit the gym soon. Summer vacation takes college out of the schedule for now." Which freed up a good deal of time. "I suppose it is like a work out, not that I thought of it as such - I should have." But he had seen it as work which needed to get done, and hadn't thought of it as anything else aside from thinking of how much he'd had to move and take in.
"I believe the items you mentioned Stroud are over that way." Pointing in the general direction, where other boxes were stacked at about three foot tall, as they were heavy and he didn't want to stack heavy boxes on top of each other; for fear of something breaking under the weight.
Not too far off from those gathering tea pots he heard the questioned and tilted his head. "Open a whole box and grab them all, each ones had eight in it. I'll help open the boxes they are in. Grab one of the box cutters to open the case." He had more box cutters in a holder for them on the desk, some place where they were easy to find and yet not laying about. After tonight he'd neaten up things, perhaps tomorrow before his actual job.

Laine nodded, grabbing one of the cutters and tearing into the box with little issue. She gently pulled the tea pots out one at a time before setting them on the counter. It didn't seem like any in this box were broken, but that didn't mean the rest of the boxes would turn out that way. Did Alex just want them to open them all? Perhaps she should just do that. Any tea pots they didn't use could just be stored in the back.

Richard (General Buddingtonite)
Richard liked to think of himself as a natural business man, having own and ran a candy shop on his own with minimal employees, so in truth he should have felt more at home in this kind of environment that he did , and yet, he felt a great sense of displacement. It had been awhile since he had Sugar Shanty open, and it was painfully clear to see, as when Stroud started barking orders, he found himself wanting to hang back and allow someone else to take lead.
Perhaps Daran had a negative effect on him after all...
Or maybe he could blame it on the lovely Laine, as he immediately beamed when he spotted the beautiful young lady. His crimson eyes glistened with a sense of familiarity as he opened up to her. "Good to see you again, though I wouldn't have imagined it'd be here. How's everything? Got it figured out or still working at the details?"
He wasn't going to openly address her hand and he did his best not to draw his gaze to it. His was still in its final stages of healing, which meant it itched like mad, but he maintained his composure as best as he could. His eye caught some familiar faces, one of which brought a rather devilish grin to his face. Sweet Cherry! Cherry and Laine in the same roof... today must have been his lucky day!
A strong, swollen looking man had mentioned something the caught his ear, and while he wasn't sure exactly who the large man was, he seemed... oddly familiar. At least that back of his did. Upside down... "Excuse me, this is going to sound extremely rude, but did you by chance carry me at some point?"
Because he looked like he could have easily... but when and where was this at, Richard was struggling to remember, not realizing that this man had carried him twice before.

Stroud ( Cpt. Schörl )
It looked pretty clearly like everything was coming together. In fact, they all pulled together everything and got it set up in no time with jars of the bulk tea in the middle, spoons, scoops, bowls for everyone to use for their own personal blending, teapots and teacups, and a few empty larger vessels for Richard and Alex to work their magic and show them all up some the master-blends that the East India House would be purveying.
Even the damnable paper towels.
She found a place at one of the newly made stations and waved everyone on over to find one. "Pick a place, lovelies, and good show. There's a spot for everyone to stand at to taste and then make a blend."
"Gentleman, " She toned it like an gameshow announcer as she waved towards the group-effort setup for Alex and Richard. "I believe we all await your blends, to taste them and then your directions on what these all are and how to blend our own?"
Björn ( Cpt. Titanlåvenite )
He missed workouts with Alex, really. At the suggestion that they could arrange to do so again, the big guy gave an emphatic nod and non-worded noise of assent that was like to an affable bear.
But then Richard was mentioning something, catching his attention as Alex started talking to the strange woman who was directing things like a traffic cop. "Ja..I have."
While his memory wasn't the best, it would be hard put to forget carrying someone that smelled like a liquor store home, fishing in all his pants pockets for an address and house keys, only to be assaulted by to giant dogs trying to climb to lick said liquor-store in the face. At least they'd be pretty friendly dogs about the whole thing. "You were drunk at the Moon Viewing. You have the nice dogs. "
The lady was calling for attention again, indicating that Richard was neede for somethign with the tea. I guess I should get to one of the stations?
. . .
Mass quote to bring this back on everyone's radar and because Stroud is calling everyone to get to a station to get the Tasting part on the road!

Cherry / (Lt. Piemontite)
Cherry had been all too willing to follow around at the directions. She was quickly finding that she especially liked this blonde lady. She thought maybe she should find out who she is. She seemed a very good leader and quite astute in the manner of taking charge of a situation. Miss Cherry Pie could totally respect someone who not only had an air of authority about them, but they weren't afraid to orchestrate people with it as well.
When she went to pick a station to wait as was instructed, she just looked at the dishes. She realized she knew next to nothing about tea unless you counted Lipton tea boxes or some of those Celestial Seasonings herbal teas. She could tell already by looking at what was around; this was totally on a different level.
She had poured coffee and served desserts and breakfast food for years. How different could working in a Tea House be? Well, clearly, there were a few things to know; she didn't know any of it. That would be embarrassing to say, so she just stayed quiet mostly.
Waiting, she just smiled at the others next to her.
The boxes were all rather neatly labeled, a real blessing which meant she didn't have to search too much. Gathering a couple jars and measuring scoops, she walked out of the storeroom looking for the blonde who had given the order in the first place. Holding them carefully to her chest so it would be difficult to drop something, just in case, she made her way around the bodies standing so close together.
'Where do you want these, ma'am?'
Waiting for direction, Lianna to a moment to look around, trying to put names and faces together. She was still very new, and didn't know... well anyone, and this was a good opportunity to start learning who else was part of the fight, and who might make good contacts. She really didn't recognise anyone, and all she could really tell was that just about everyone was stronger than she was...
Who should she meet or attempt to meet first..once she completed the task she was given, of course.
