Bailey passed the little kitten to Daniel before climbing down further. "Hopefully. Poor kitty...this must have been terrifying for them!" Was it a boy kitty, or a girl kitty? Or did it even care? "I didn't see a collar...we can look around later? After they're nice and safe?"

"We should." Daniel agreed, nodding firmly as he followed after holding the kitten, looking worried.

"Can you keep them if they have no home?" Daniel suddenly looked sheepish. "Mama bought me a dog."

"I could ask? I mean...we could probably keep them until we find a forever home for the poor kitty." She held her arm out for the kitten again, so Daniel could make it down for the last handoff. "Either way, I think I can get the poor kitty something to eat!"

"As long as the kitty is safe." Daniel agreed. "And warm and happy."

The boy climbed below Bailey, and offered to take the kitten, humming.

"I wonder if it has a name?" He asked, curiously.

"If they don't, and they have no home, we can name them!" Bailey was glad once the kitten and they were on the ground. "That way, whether the kitten is ours or ends up going onto a better forever home, the little one knows they are loved and have a name all their own!" The girl smiled brightly, trying to let the kitten know they were safe and sound.

She nodded. "Let's take them to my house. Daddy or Reed or Mommy will definitely know what to do to see if the kitty has a home!" With the kitten securely cradled, she elbowed Daniel. "Lead the way?"
