Helping fight was why she was there, or at least that was the idea. If she didn’t want to help out she wouldn’t have stayed around, and she definitely wouldn’t have stayed to make sure Liryn was going to be okay. Not that she didn’t expect him to be able to help himself, but… he was just a little kitty.
Still, the reasons behind why everyone was fighting each other were all different, but she knew she was a senshi. She was meant to be one and would always fight for the destruction of Chaos.
And so, when she saw how an eternal (Iris) stepped forward and launched an attack, Varuna was in close pursuit. After all, her magic was best when everyone was grouped together. She had no idea who this woman was or if there was something she was missing, but if she could pose as even a hint of a distraction, or heck, maybe even help out, then that was good enough for her.
“Snow slip!” she cried, the first thing she’d uttered so far that night. It was the only thing of importance she could say, and all she was really good for. Hands out in front of her, a mound of snow materialized from the ground and rolled forward towards the officers the rainbow senshi had already tried attacking.
With any luck, some people might have tried ducking away from the rainbow slicer attack, only to be hit with a sudden rush of snow.

Turquoise is on first floor.
Lieutenant Turquoise had arrived early. After the hostage plan had turned into a disaster like over-cooked rice in her part and after she had finally got rid of the overly protective, oddly familiarly acting Cosmos page (seriously, just who was that guy?) she had contacted General Buddingtonite and asked for directions. She had got orders to come in the warehouse right away and get ready for the next phase.
So, here she was, sitting on top of one of the racks, leaning against one of boxes, her arms resting on her knees that she had curled close to her chest. In her left hand, she held binoculars while her right hand was holding the communication crystal. This position had it's cons and pros. On the plus side, she had a nice view to down and the situation as a whole and she might had better changes to use these boxes. Besides, it was nice to have some alone time. On the minus side, falling down could be lethal. She needed to be careful.
Buddy was somewhere in the bottom floor. Silently, she was a little happy about this as she was not very eager to see the rose-clad general right now. What he had done tonight, how he had humiliated her...... It still hurt. The petite, turquoise-haired lieutenant pulled her feet closer to her chest, instictively crossing her arms against her chest in protective manner. For a moment, she closed her eyes and let a cold shudder crawl through her body. A broken sigh escaped between her small, pink lips.
Her attention was brought back into reality when Leto voiced her directions to them. Silently she watched the dark mirror princess as she spoke. It wasn't necessary to follow her lead, she had been told. However, Turquoise had got directions earlier from the higher rank. Even though General-King Zinkenite had not told her directly to do everything Leto asked them to do he had made quite clear it was strongly preferred to keep good terms with Dark Mirror Court. Silently she wondered was the princess aware of her meeting with Remarque and orders Zinkenite had given to her, that her job was to amend by helping the DMC and looking for signs of hostilty towards it. Did she knew about the little team the General-King had set up for her and Wolframite? Was she aware of her part in the ambush? Did she trust her? Did it matter, really? The lieutenant was not going to break that trust. Not because of her, she barely even knew the girl, but because of Zinkenite. It looked like she hadn't angered the General-King yet and Turquoise preferred to keep it that way.
She was about to call Mica when she saw general Avalon doing it already. Secretly she was content for the general handling it, she probably was doing it better too. Now, the action was about to start, she pushed herself up on her feet, only to catch the sight of Ganymede. It was a little bit unsettling to see her, her unusual aura glimmering even up there where she was standing, knowing she had both 'saved' her and in the same time hurt the general she still cared about. She wasn't sure what to think of her.
But now was not the right time to think about it. She had more important matters to worry about.
A glimpse of pastel color flashed near her, reflecting from her dark brown eyes. It looked like a rainbow ribbon.... no, a rainbow lasso. And it was swinging towards her way. Instictively, she took steps back, trying to dodge the attack but it was difficult when the area she was standing on was so narrow. The lasso flew over her head and tightened around her neck. To prevent herself from suffocating her hands moved towards the lasso, trying to catch it and pull it away.
She hadn't expected the heat. She hadn't expected burning pain around her neck and fingers. She hadn't expected herself screaming of pain and surprise.
Anyone who knew Lieutenant Turquoise knew she didn't scream easily.

Feel free to have him hearing her if you want. Today is sooo not their day.
Persephone had to admit that she was agitated. Any operation run by Bischofite had to have an ulterior motive - she knew the General too well to trust him. Nothing he did was straightforward, at least as far as she'd seen. And the orders to leave Leto behind...didn't sit right with her. Even if the very idea of leaving an ally to die didn't make her physically ill, the idea that leaving Leto specifically when she had seen Zinkenite's towering rage in person because someone tried to kill her was somehow a good plan seemed ridiculous.
She found herself staring out the window, wondering when Order would arrive - because Order always arrived - and rather distracted from her comrades, so Avalon's voice surprised her. So did the General's inclination to question. The Corrupt responded with a half-smile.
"Yeah, screw that order. I was planning to grab her when we left." She shook her head. "I didn't see the results, but Zinkenite was furious when he showed up to save her. I'll pass on ever being on the receiving end of that, thanks."
Order, as always, had ideal timing, and she happily moved behind Avalon for at least a moment's protection.
"I don't know her, but we're the only two on her level and I'm not leaving her for Lieutenants."
So the green-haired Eternal approached, just in time to be crashed into by an attack that was actually pretty familiar - the sudden snow had her flailing and falling, just like in one of her first battles. "******** Senshi," she swore, conveniently ignoring that she was one of them for the moment.

Megrez is on the first floor!
Megrez had absconded for a bit to catch her breath and take stock of the situation. She was unaware of what happened at the power plant, but when when felt like bundles of chaos auras snaked towards her, she knew she couldn't just go home and go back to bed. Even if the lights had gone back on in the city, there was yet another call to action on the horizon.
It took her a bit of time, but she eventually tracked down the warehouse that the Chaos auras were coming from... and walked into quite a scene. The Rainbow Senshi (Iris) had already fired off an attack, as had a Snowy Senshi (Varuna). She heard a Lieutentant's (Turquoise) scream as a rainbow hit its mark, a noise that still jarred her just a bit. She kept towards the back for now, a bit overwhelmed and without a good area-of-effect attack. "Holy crap," she said to herself (though probably loud enough to be heard by someone).

Mention! Alternately, you can have Turq notice Megrez and react accordingly (though she is towards the back).
[Post attack] Ate had taken it upon herself to sit away from the others who had appeared in the warehouse not out of fear or shyness but to gain a measure of who she would be working with on this little soiree. She recognized the young Vespa instantly as he made his way down to the second floor his face full of anxiety and panic and the polluted Senshi couldn't help but laugh at his utter hopelessness. He was not made for this world but she would find time to show him the true delights chaos can bring to the worthy. She made a mental note to grab 5 minutes with him...after this party had finished and if he lived of course but that was nether her concern or responsibility. He wasn't apart of her family and while she saw him as an alley she wouldn't waste her own life protecting him, not unless he proved himself a little more.
She watched the others, a corrupted Senshi other than herself was here her aura glowing bright as she watched Sailor Persephone look out the window, she didn't know her, maybe Lyssa did? It was always worth while to see if she belonged to the Fables, but there was no time for day dreaming the attack had already begun.
Watching as Iris and the others sprung into the action the Eternal's lasso licking out towards those that stood nearest Ate again grinned in anticipation. She loved it when these things got straight to the point. The ice had made getting closer to the group difficult but hopping of the crate she had planted herself on she cracked her fingers, the familiar words leaving her lips before she even had a chance to think on them. "Toxic Cy-clone Blast!"
*This attack is a large ball of pollution gathered from the surround areas, gas, waste, anything toxic. It will hurt if it has large items gather in it, but mainly sticky and horrible and so gross! The warehouse was a haven of pollutant items, horrible gasses from any furnaces, oil and tar. Anything that caused mother nature harm was swept of the floor and from the air in the growing mass that gathered in Ate's had and with a squeal of joy she threw it into the group of would be heroes (and failing allies)

Acubens could deal with why Leto was here later, when they were alone and no longer under attack. Right now there was work to be done. She regathered her wits and acted. Lying on the floor not three feet away was a small wooden plank. Not enough heft to do any real harm, but Acubens wasn't out to maim anyone, so it'd suit her purposes just fine. What else could be happening? It wasn't just a warehouse ambush, she could feel it in her bones. There was something else. There was always something else.
"Andronicus," she muttered, edging closer to the page, "leave the Dark Mirrors alone, keep yourself safe. But we're also going to figure out of there's more to this than just this level. Look for stairs, lifts, chutes, anything. Cover each other, same as last time."
Nodding as if to affirm her plan in her own mind, Acubens moved quickly, getting clipped by garbage that flew from the strange senshi. The first thing to do was incapacitate as many as she could, and with the rainbow senshi and the snow senshi already hard at work on everyone else, the garbage flinging senshi was all that was left. She swung her plank as hard as she could straight at the senshi's gut,

If Ate gets hit with the plank, the worst it would do was maybe knock the wind out of her for a second, no real damage. Feel free to have to do nothing but make Ate angry, though.

Astarte is on the first floor.
"Hurry!" She called to the super senshi, unsure why the two ended up in similar circumstances given their very different methods of approach to the same problem. Astarte stared the girl down with a severe lack of patience, a look of incredulity crossing her face while the Steam Senshi gathered her skirts up for a quicker trot. Astarte wondered if she should be thanking a myriad of spirits and demons for her fortune in fuku.
The plaza sported a strange turn of events - though the Negaverse left, they managed with their crystals intact. While power slowly seeped back into the city, everyone present felt like they were at a loss. Yes, the agents left, but... But what? She asked herself. This was all you were looking for - a spot of electricity to turn the A/C on and maybe tea before bed. You thought chamomile sounded good at the time. So why hang about out here, getting dirty and cut up, when you could be lying in bed enjoying those last dregs of chamomile before falling asleep? Don't tell me you got bit by the justice bug tonight - their spiel about needing to stop the Negaverse sounds a bit overblown, and frankly doesn't concern you.
But this might, came a deeper reaction, one that surprised her.
Astarte arrived first, metal heels clacking against the cement floor as she leapt into the bay doors. And as soon as she crossed the threshold, now-familiar allies surrounding her, a large ball of dirt and detritus struck her straight in the stomach. With a winded "oof", Astarte fell straight out of the bay doors while trash, sludge and gaseous smog assaulted her. Inwardly she marveled at her luck.
And stranger still, arms met her rather than jarring concrete, and she muttered a swift thank-you toward the super senshi that broke her fall. The girl smiled lightly in response, started to say something, but Astarte paid her no heed. Rather, she leapt once more into the bay doors, relatively intact beyond the gaping gash across her chest that now sported bits of trash and sludge that coaxed a heavy sting out of it.
Surely she smelled wonderful right now, but Astarte simply lacked the energy to care anymore. Every bone in her body groaned for rest, for retreating home with that promised cup of chamomile, but here she stood in the beginnings of an utterly large warehouse. Now she faced multiple corrupted senshi, another of those strange Dark Mirrors (who felt remarkably similar to Remarque), and several lieutenants and captains. Oh how they love to change the cast on me, she thought bitterly.
How many of them felt the same fatigue as the White Moon surrounding her? It didn't matter, not now.
"Hey you," she called to a cream-colored senshi (Megrez). Luckily she needn't trek through the snow to reach the girl. "I bet it's great fun to dally, but pull your weight a bit!" A quick scan alerted her to some makeshift projectiles boxed into one of the ballets. "See that box over there? The one that says Sango? They're ceramic plates. Why not crack one open and toss a few about, do some damage?" It sounded ineffectual compared to snow and rainbows, but without the strength to manage another attack, Astarte suspected it's the best they could do.

Leda is on the first floor.
After catching Astarte, Leda sported several stains of tar and grease on her outfit, as if she went and tried to play car mechanic. She sighed; the state of her fuku marked the least of her worries right now. "Be careful in there!" She started to call to the Malice Senshi, but her words found no ears. Troubled, Leda followed soon afterward.
Warehouses caused her to shudder now, especially since Persephone stood as a jarring reminder of her last time spent inside of one.
Snow coated the ground somehow, likely due to one of the other senshi present. A slight trail of dirt and debris marked the attack that had splattered all over Astarte previously, though the senshi seemed to be okay. What truly drew her attention was the corrupted eternal that once stood at her side, the olive-haired girl that betrayed everyone who attempted to join her team. Was it right to simply focus on the girl, throw caution to the wind and charge forth? No, she needed a better plan... And more importantly, she needed to know what they were doing here.
Leda looked to Ganymede upon spotting the girl, and while exhausted, kept her head about soliciting advice. "I think we all know they're up to something weird, but um... Do you really think just fighting through everyone is the right way to go? I mean, all these racks... There's like, hallways between them. We could go around... Do you think they'd notice? At least if we just get around the welcome wagon..." Then what? Stand around and stare at the Negaversers in the floors below? She felt them, though she couldn't see them. Surely they had the same reaction to her - to the rest of the senshi present.

Bischofite is on the third floor.
"Only a fool executes a plan half-wrought," came his cryptic response to the general's solicitations. "We need only buy time for ze portal to open. Once it's established, we'll haf' no furzer need to linger; we can simply return to ze rift srough its confines to nurse our wounds." And by the look of Buddingtonite, the man sustained a veritable assault during his first phase of the operation. While the diversion met its end before their mass draining operation concluded, Buddingtonite's efforts brought to light a few interesting facts about their enemy. While their propensity to idle around and marvel at the scene was great, senshi legitimately sprung into action when familiar situations arose. In order to deter them for longer stretches of time, Bischofite surmised that unusual situations must present at each occasion.
That's easy enough, he thought with an encroaching smile.
Eyes not yet cooled by stoicism rested on his redheaded peer, who stood not far from his position. Inwardly he wondered if discussing their earlier tactics stood out of place in the quiet confines of the warehouse, where the tension felt palpable and prickly against his skin. However, before he managed a breath of opinion, his crystal crackled to life with a vaguely familiar voice. Avalon, was it? "Understood," he issued into the communications device. "Remember - wis'draw as soon as smoke assails your senses. Do not linger." And most importantly, leave that bastardized wench of a White Moon senshi behind. To hell with Zinkenite's orders - all that windbag manages is throwing his weight around and barking commands to anyone who refrains from licking his boots.
"Strike Team - set zat floor alight. I want to hear ze roar of flame from where I'm standing. Recon Team will disengage at first sight of smoke."
With a barely audible sigh, Bischofite wrapped his arms about his chest and paced the few feet to Buddingtonite's location. From what he witnessed, those of the Guard Team looked far too focused on the inevitable approach of the enemy to bother with the youma at their six. If nothing else, I've learned to keep hope and expectation at two very different levels. I hoped for your diversion to be the first and only contact point between us and the enemy. I hoped the electricity returning to the city marked a job well-done for their ilk and that they'd slither back to their homes to lick their wounds. And now, I hope that the smoke filtering into the first floor would be enough to stifle their progress, that the time bought by rolling the doors shut and smothering the lot of them might buy Malicious enough time.
But even if they stumble down to this final floor, coughing and cursing our names for our antics, their presence might be enough to distract these officers from the true goal at hand. Perhaps I still haven't lost yet. It's down to the wire - the senshi are hot on pursuit and these officers look a mix of far too weary and far too bright to buy this talk of a portal for long.
I wonder how much time I have left.
"Buddingtonite, you will not hear me say zis twice, but..." Bischofite dropped his voice to nary more than a whisper. "I am worried."

The other senshi (Astarte) had apparently caught the trashball for her, but Megrez received yet another wake-up call from this same senshi. She had to stop being overwhelmed by large-scale battles. Just because there were rainbows and snow and trashballs being thrown about didn't mean she could just shut down; other battles would most likely not give her the processing time.
"Okay, got it, sounds like a plan!" she said to Astarte before hurrying over the box and using her enhanced senshi strength to tear it open. Hey, ceramic plates would be more effective than her eggs at this point. She pulled one out, aimed as carefully as she could, and flung one at the toxic senshi (Ate) to see if that'd keep her from tossing another trashball (or at least delay the next volley).

Ganymede didn't have much of a plan, but then there wasn't really a lot of time to formulate one.
She had no intention of hanging back, yet she refrained from immediately jumping into the fray this time around. Something had felt off about this entire evening (more than just the power), and their welcome reception at the warehouse only served to compound her suspicions. Leto's presence more than anything served to tip her off that something wasn't quite right here. What the hell did the Dark Mirror Princess have to gain out of any of this considering the Negaverse's precious actions against her?
It'd only been a fraction of the Negaverse, of course, but if Ganymede had been in her place she wouldn't have trusted a single one of them after. The fact that Leto was there spoke to a fracture in the organization of the Negaverse. Clearly there was some disagreement when it came to their loyalties to her and her court.
And that was a weakness.
But it was a weakness for another time. There was little about it to play off of at the moment. If anything Leto's presence now served as nothing but a distraction.
Ganymede turned to Leda. She wasn't the sort for action, nor was she always capable of concocting a successful plan, but having her teammates around had a way of boosting her confidence. “We'll sneak around,” she decided, “let the others handle the welcome party. If memory serves, the one-woman-pride-parade should be able to handle Leto just fine, and she's got plenty of support already. This doesn't feel right. Why have Leto here? The General and the one Eternal were at the plaza, but without Buddingtonite and Benitoite showing their faces... if they were the leaders of the last two operations, where are they now?”
She looked around, searching for some means to reach another area of the warehouse. Slowly she began creeping along the periphery of the building, motioning for Leda and Valhalla to follow. “Come on, something tells me this isn't the main event. Let's look for some stairs.”

Mica heard the alert on the communicator, could hear the voices of the enemy as they approached, but it was only when Bischofite gave the order that she moved. It was time- they could see the whites in their eyes and there wasn't a moment to waste. She called to the rest of the strike team, the edge in her voice hard to ignore. "Now, set it ablaze! Leave nothing unscathed!"
And to make good with her order and prove that she wouldn't dare give a command that she herself would not follow, she kicked her canister over and took a step back, taking on a second to ready her lighter before tossing the lit device into the gasoline.
In the depths of her mind, a single thought caused a smile to creep onto her face.
It was time to light the lights.
Buddingtonite was more on edge than he let others know, always wearing a mask and working harder to stop himself from ever letting it fall entirely (was he completely successful, though, was the question). Even now, fighting off exhaustion, aggravated wounds, and some pretty damn powerful drugs, he tried to keep himself pleasant and stood as straight as he could, though his shoulders slacked, a clear sign to any that looked upon him. He tried to keep that mask in place, even when Bischofite gave the strike team the order to burn the second floor to the ground. Even when he found himself worrying for Turquoise's safety, he tried to keep his cool. No one had a need for a nervous wreck!
But it was when Bischofite leaned close and whispered to him, close, steal a kiss close, and whispered 'I am worried' that it dropped. Like a plastic mask hitting the ground, Buddingtonite found himself recoiling and his crimson eyes went wide with surprise...
Bischofite's never worried. Something's wrong.
As he struggled to reclaim his mask, Mica's shout from above and the roar of flames igniting helped with that, but he looked to Serpentine with those bright red eyes, probably resembling a deer caught in the headlights of a menacing 18-wheeler that had no chance of slowing down.
What have you gotten yourself into this time, Buddy?

Serpentine is at the bottom floor
His apartment was waiting for him. The electricity would be back now, and with it the much needed air conditioning, or the water heater, or any other of the little luxuries that he had already done without for far too long. Serpentine was imagining the lager perfectly chilled in his fridge, the waiting Netflix queue that Richard had built for them both to watch. These thoughts helped his mind continue to function as he waited for their enemies to appear. He could wait, quietly, patiently, as long as it took... but that did not mean that he would not seek to fill in the time.
For all of his focus, Serpentine could be easily distracted with honeyed words, with battle cries, with injuries screams. The look in Buddingtonite's eyes, his proximity to Bischofite... these were not elements of distraction. These were a complete shift in focus. Suspicion flared as much as the flames had on the rooftop during the distraction phase of this operation. It needed satisfying. Working with the misanthropic general was already akin to a devil's bargain... but even a devil's bargain needed all the terms elucidated upfront. For his partner to give him such a look, something had happened. Something he needed to take in hand.
He crossed the distance between them with his usual, business march. Bandaged fingers unconsciously brushed hair from his forehead to make himself more presentable because if there was anyone to whom he refused to show weakness... it was the one who had tried twice to kill him and destroy his friend's psyche. No matter what repairs had been made to their relationship, whatever queer understanding stretched out between them, that was always the cracked foundation on which Bischofite stood.
His deep voice was made raspier from smoke and fatigue, but he still spoke in demands. He did not care which of the other generals answered, as long as answers were given. "What has happened... and why does that beast linger here?"

Getting away from the mess that had been the energy crystals and to his post for the final stage of the operation had been...well, something of an adventure for Kerberos. But he was very, very much looking forward to what he would be doing here - if only because setting s**t on fire for the express purpose of terrifying Order sat very, very well with him. Especially after that one goddamn Senshi had set the roof on fire back during the first stage of this little "operation."
Perhaps giving a teenager with a lot of anger issues accelerant and a lighter wasn't a particularly good idea.
The command to light the place up came, and he looked probably way too excited for it.
"Oh, with pleasure," he growled, foot slamming into the gas can in front of him as he flicked on the lighter. It landed in the puddle with a dull splat, and then a roar as it ignited.
Perhaps unconsciously, he found himself humming a certain Fall Out Boy song. It seemed appropriate to the occasion.
Penthesilea was starting to get really, really tired of all of Chaos's schemes tonight. As she approached the warehouse that was clearly stage 3 in their little plot, she was making soft grumbling noises of rage. As far as she was concerned, she wouldn't be satisfied until there was at least one person dead at her feet - Chaos owed her that much, in this mess.
She joined the gathering group on the first floor and surveyed their opposition. Two third stagers, one second, and a bunch of firsts.
Absolutely no problem to wipe them out.

Liryn is on the 1st floor
Liryn had followed Andronicus and the Super senshi that he'd met and agreed to join up with from the plaza to the warehouse. Or at least he had tried his best to, even so despite his best attempts the two had been quicker on their feet than he had been on his paws even with him going at as fast a trot as he could manage.
As he made the trot over, Liryn noted that the lights appeared to be coming back on, sometimes a building at a time and at others a small group of them becoming lit up once more, however despite everything the tabby bobtail didn't think that it meant that everything was back to normal - after all the Nega-officers were still out there somewhere with those strange crystals.
The warehouse wasn't what he had been expecting when he finally got there, but that didn't stop Liryn from slipping in. There had been others from Order there too - Andronicus and that Super senshi (Acubens) and the blonde senshi (Varuna). Liryn could sense the two eternal senshi too and plenty of Nega-Officers, there was a Dark Mirror aura there too and that surprised him more than the fact that that other Dark Mirror senshi that he'd come across by the plaza had appeared to want to help them, given that back in another time and another warehouse a bunch of Nega-officers appeared to have been doing their best to kill Dark Mirror senshi.
Slipping in he had been making his way towards the blonde senshi, when he'd heard someone shout out an attack and then sticky and nasty things were coming down and sticking to his fur. The attack had come from the Negaverse side, from one of the two eternal level Nega-senshi. He wasn't hurt though so Liryn continued to make his way towards the blonde senshi. He tried to avoid the worst of all the icky muck, not particularly wanting any more of the stuff on his fur, even so however Liryn managed to pick up some additional bits of muck by the time he reached the blonde senshi.
He hadn't there for too long however when he thought he smelt something - well something other than the stink from the muck. He sniffed once, then again his tail waving slowly as he walked a few steps forward and then back - there . One last sniff then he trotted back towards the blonde senshi (Varuna) and commented. "I think I smell smoke."
Valhalla kept up with Ganymede as best he could, for although he knew they should reach the location that everyone was gathering, he also held back a little to make sure no one was falling behind. Themiscrya and Ashur. He hoped the Lieutenant (Tsavolite) was okay and hadn’t been injured as the lights slowly began to flicker back on.
He was just as displeased with the sight of the warehouse as Ganymede was, although he wasn’t as vocal about it. There were others already there and fighting. Two senshi, an eternal (Iris) and scout (Varuna), were wasting no time in attacking the gathered group on the main floor of the warehouse… but…
“Good idea,” he said with a nod to both Leda and Ganymede after a mournful glance over to where Avalon and Persephone were fighting the others. “If we can head them off, there might be a chance to take the others by surprise.” Not that he was sure what he’d do once they did, but he wasn’t going to let the Negaverse use the warehouse to do whatever they planned on using it for.
Following Ganymede and Leda’s lead, Valhalla kept his compass at the ready, prepared to try and use it to stop anyone from coming at them, but so far they seemed too distracted by both the rainbow and snow senshi, and the sludge senshi (Ate) who retaliated, among several of the others. But there was something wrong, and before they could locate a set of stairs around the pallets upon pallets of boxes and wrapped merchandise, the sound of something… exploding…? or at least igniting caught his attention.
“Is that smoke??” he called to the two, spinning around to try and locate the source. “From below us??” But… if they were trying to light the place on fire to kill them… then why do it before they were all on a lower level? Why not lure them in all the way before making the place go up in flames? Unless… “They must be hiding something. They’re trying to keep us out.” And a fire was a pretty damn good deterrent.
Although... if they were hiding something, why would they risk having the whole building collapse on those on the lower levels...? Then again, the Negaverse was known more for its ability to follow orders than use their heads. Of course... the likelihood of running into a trap was just as high...
